A török légierő a Szíria északkeleti részén lévő Haszaka tartomány energetikai létesítményei ellen hajtott végre légicsapásokat – jelentette vasárnap reggel a szíriai állami média.
A tájékoztatás szerint az éjszaka folyamán végrehajtott csapások több olajmezőt értek, a többi között Kamisli közelében, valamint légitámadásról számoltak be al-Málikíja város mellől is.
A csapások nyomán több helyen tüzek is keletkeztek.
Az Emberi Jogok Szíriai Megfigyelő Központja (OSDH) nevű civilszervezet szerint az Ankara által terroristának minősített Szíriai Demokratikus Erők (SDF) nevű kurd fegyveres csoport ellenőrizte térségben a török légierő rendszeresen tart őrjáratot.
