Tűz volt a múlt héten egy idősek otthonában Chemnitz városában, a második emelet egyik szobájában. A tűz nem terjedt át ezen a szobán túlra.
A balesetben az intézmény egy 84 éves betege meghalt, hét másik lakó és gondozó megsérült. Hárman kórházi ellátásra szorultak, de életük nincs veszélyben.
A tűz keletkezésének helyszínéül szolgáló helyiségen kívüli intézmény nem sérült meg, és továbbra is működhet. A tűz okát vizsgálják.

Súlyos tragédia történt Brazíliában, miután összeomlott egy négyemeletes idősek otthona Belo Horizonte városában, és több lakó a romok alá szorult.
A helyi hatóságok és mentőegységek órákon át dolgoztak a túlélők felkutatásán, miközben a beszámolók szerint legalább 12 ember életét vesztette a katasztrófában.
A jelentések szerint az eset március 5-én, csütörtök éjjel, körülbelül 1:30-kor történt, amikor a Casa de Repouso Pró-Vida nevű idősotthon épülete hirtelen összeomlott.
A brazil G1 hírportál arról számolt be, hogy a romok alá több bent tartózkodó lakó is beszorult, ezért nagyszabású mentési művelet indult. A Minas Gerais állam katonai tűzoltósága a közösségi oldalán is megerősítette a tragédiát, és videókat tett közzé a mentésről.
Közel 30 ember volt az épületben az összeomlás idején
A beszámolók szerint az épületben összesen 29 ember tartózkodott az összeomlás idején. A G1 a TV Globo információira hivatkozva közölte ezt az adatot, miközben az O Globo arról írt, hogy az áldozatok között egy 99 éves nő, egy 77 éves férfi és egy 96 éves nő is volt. A jelentések szerint a romok alól péntek reggel emelték ki az utolsó holttestet, egy 77 éves nőét.
A tragédia részleteiről a tűzoltóság egyik tisztje is beszélt. Elias Cristóvão hadnagy az O Globo beszámolója szerint a következőképpen idézte fel a történteket. „A szoba, ahol lennie kellett volna, lyukas volt a mennyezetnél, a födém eltört, és ő leesett egy alsó szintre, ahová eredetileg nem tartozott volna.”
A tiszt hozzátette, hogy a mentőcsapatoknak a pincén keresztül kellett megközelíteniük a romokat. „A pincén keresztül kellett bejutnunk, átkutattuk a törmeléket, és ott találtunk rá. Sajnos nem élte túl a sérüléseit, és nem mutat életjeleket.”
A People cikke szerint a G1, az O Globo és más brazil médiumok beszámolóira hivatkozva számolt be az esetről. A mentési munkálatok során 8 embert élve találtak meg a romok között, miközben további kilenc személy saját erejéből jutott ki az épületből, még mielőtt a mentőcsapatok elérték volna őket.
Az ingatlan tulajdonosa is ott lakott
A brazil UOL Notícias arról is beszámolt, hogy az összeomlott épületben az idősotthon mellett egy edzőterem és egy szolárium is működött. A jelentések szerint az ingatlan tulajdonosa a második emeleten lakott.
A hatóságok egyelőre nem erősítették meg az összeomlás pontos okát, azonban vizsgálat indult. A G1 beszámolója szerint a város polgári védelmének és katasztrófavédelmének helyettes államtitkára, Elcione Menezes Alves a következőket mondta: „Ami feltűnő, hogy a baleset idején nem esett az eső. Ez nem egy magas kockázatú terület. Történelmileg nincsenek feljegyzések arról, hogy itt hasonló incidensek történtek volna.”
A hatóságok jelenleg azt is vizsgálják, hogy az épület összeomlása összefüggésben állhat-e a közelben zajló építkezési munkálatokkal. A nyomozásról Felipe Ribeiro, a helyi polgári rendőrség nyomozója is nyilatkozott. „A prioritásunk a kutató-mentő műveletek nyomon követése, az áldozatok családjainak támogatása […] és ezzel egy időben a büntetőeljárás megindítása.”

A Manado városban található egyszintes házban akkor keletkezett tűz, amikor a lakók aludtak. Alamsyah Hasibuan, az észak-sulawesi rendőrség szóvivője elmondta, hogy tizenhatan haltak meg és tizenöt túlélő van, akiket Manado két kórházában ápolnak.
A hatóságok közlése szerint a tűzoltóknak hat tűzoltóautóval több mint két órába telt, mire eloltották a lángokat, a mentőket a környékbeli lakosok riasztották.
A rendőrség első jelentése szerint a tüzet elektromos hiba okozta, de a hatóságok később közölték, hogy a kiváltó okot még vizsgálják.

Szerdán este tragikus tűzeset rázta meg a boszniai Tuzlát, amikor egy a helyi idősek otthonában kitört tűz legalább tíz lakó életét követelte, több tucat ember pedig megsebesült, közülük néhányan most is kritikus állapotban vannak. A tűz este 20.45-kor csapott fel az épület hetedik emeletén, de átterjedt az alsóbb szintekre is. Az ötödik, hatodik és hetedik emeleten rákbetegeket és súlyos demenciával küzdőket ápoltak.
A helyi hatóságok előzetes tájékoztatása szerint a katasztrófában a 10 áldozat mellett körülbelül húsz személyt kellett orvosi ellátásban részesíteni. Az elhunytakat a hatóságok jelenleg azonosítás és boncolás céljából egy halottasházba szállítják át. A tűz megfékezésében és eloltásában a Tuzlai Hivatásos Tűzoltóság tagjai vettek részt, akiket a srebrenicai kollégák, valamint a Felső-Tuzla és Tuzla önkéntes tűzoltó egyesületei támogattak. A rendőrség munkatársai is a helyszínen voltak, hogy segítsék a mentési munkálatokat.
A veszélyeztetett emeleteken tartózkodó lakóknak a Tuzlai Egészségügyi Központ sürgősségi orvosi szolgálata nyújtott elsősegélyt, őket később az épület alacsonyabb emeletein helyezték el. A mentésben részt vettek a lukavaci, srebrenicai és kalesijai egészségügyi központok orvosai is. A sérülteket a Tuzlai Egyetemi Klinikai Központba szállították – akik között az intézmény lakóin kívül rendőrök, tűzoltók, egészségügyi dolgozók és az idősotthon alkalmazottai közül is vannak személyek.

Kilencen meghaltak egy massachusettsi idősek otthonában, miután éjszaka tűz ütött ki, és a lakók az ablakon kiáltoztak segítségért. A tűzoltókat helyi idő szerint vasárnap este 21 óra 50 perc körül riasztották a Fall Riverben található Gabriel House nevű idősek otthonához − írta a Fox News.
Kiérkezésükkor az épületet lángok és füst borította el az állami tűzoltóság közleménye szerint. Mintegy 50 tűzoltó érkezett a helyszínre, és hétfő reggelre sikerült eloltani a tüzet, eközben folyamatosan mentették a lakókat.
A kilenc halálos áldozat mellett több mint 30 embert szállítottak kórházba, akik közül egy személy továbbra is kritikus állapotban van − nyilatkozta Jeffrey Bacon tűzoltóparancsnok. Az idősek otthonában mintegy 70 ember él, a hatóságok egyelőre nem közölték a tűz okát.

Egy 90 éves férfi megkéselte három lakótársát a nyugat-flandriai Dentergem idősotthonában pénteken, a támadásban egy 97 és egy 93 éves férfi meghalt, egy 94 éves nőt kritikus állapotban vittek kórházban – közölte a VRT Nieuws flamand nyelvű hírportál.
A lap megbízható forrásból úgy értesült, hogy az elkövető már korábban is gyilkolt: 2021-ben egy veszekedés során kalapáccsal verte agyon feleségét. Ezt az információt a belga ügyészség megerősítette.
A férfi ellen akkor nem indult büntetőeljárás, mert az orvosi vizsgálatok megállapították, hogy a demencia korai stádiumában szenved.
Az igazságügyi hatóságok múlt év végén úgy döntöttek, hogy börtön helyett egy szigorúan őrzött pszichiátriai intézetben kell elhelyezni.
Amikor a döntés megszületett, a férfi már az idősotthonban élt. A hírportál szerint egyelőre nem tudni, hogy az intézményben bizonyos feltételek mellett maradhatott, vagy egy speciális létesítménybe való áthelyezésére várt.
A VRT Niews jogi szakértője, Philip Heymans szerint elképzelhető, hogy a férfi csak átmenetileg tartózkodott az idősek otthonában, mert nem volt elegendő férőhely a büntetőjogi felelősségre nem vonható elkövetők számára fenntartott intézményekben.
„Az is lehetséges, hogy nem tekintették különösen veszélyesnek, ezért maradhatott ott” – tette hozzá.
A dentergemi idősek otthona nem biztosít speciális ellátást pszichiátriai problémákkal vagy demenciával küzdő betegek számára. Ezért kérdéses, hogy a férfi miért tartózkodhatott ott – írta a hírportál. A rendőrség letartóztatta az idős embert, az ügyben további vizsgálatok várhatók.

Február 11-én este Odessza megyében, tűz ütött ki egy idősek otthonban, melynek következtében három ember életét vesztette, és további hatan megsérültek.
A tűzoltóság három holttestet talált az oltás közben. A tűzoltók érkezése előtt 17 embert evakuáltak az épületből.
A helyszínen dolgozó pszichológusok segítséget nyújtottak tíz embernek. A mentősök a sérülteket és az evakuáltakat kórházba szállították. Az Odessza megyei rendőrség közölte, hogy az elhunytak 53, 76 és 77 éves férfiak voltak, akik mozgáskorlátozottak voltak.
A nyomozók több szakértői vizsgálatot is elrendeltek az ügy kapcsán.

Val-d’Oise település prefektúrája arról tájékoztatott, hogy a halálos áldozatok – egy 68, egy 85 és egy 96 éves ember – füstmérgezésben vesztették életüket. Az otthon hét másik bentlakója, illetve a létesítmény két munkatársa szintén füstmérgezést kapott.
A tűz az épület harmadik emeletén csapott fel. A lángokat sikerült hamar megfékezni, az ügyben pedig vizsgálat indult. A település egyik vezetője, Romain Eskenazi azt mondta, az épület minden tűzvédelmi előírásnak megfelelt.

Több ember meghalt egy idősek otthonában keletkezett tűzben péntek hajnalban Spanyolországban. Információk szerint a tűz az egyik lakószobában keletkezett, az áldozatok füstmérgezésben vesztették életüket.
Tíz ember meghalt, ketten kritikus állapotban kerültek kórházba, miután egy idősek otthonában tűz ütött ki péntek hajnalban Villafranca de Ebro településen, Spanyolországban – közölték a hatóságok az MTI tájékoztatása szerint. Az intézményben 82-en tartózkodtak a tragédia idején, a többieket sikerült időben kimenteni a lángoló épületből.
Olga Ramírez polgármester a spanyol közszolgálati televíziónak (TVE) elmondta, hogy a tűz az egyik lakószobában keletkezett, az áldozatok füstmérgezésben vesztették életüket. A lángokat a tűzoltók reggelre eloltották, de keletkezésének pontos okát egyelőre nem tudni.
A spanyol sajtóban megjelent információk szerint egy matrac fogott tüzet, és onnan terjedtek tovább a lángok.
Az időskori mentális betegségekre szakosodott intézményben a két, éjjeli ügyeletben lévő gondozó értesítette a tűzoltókat és kezdte meg az emberek kimenekítését. A 800 lakosú településen a szomszédok is a tragédia helyszínére siettek segíteni, amíg a tűzoltók megérkeztek a mintegy 30 kilométerre található Zaragozából. A tragédia miatt a tartományi parlament elhalasztotta péntekre tervezett ülését, és Jorge Azcón, Aragónia régió elnöke a helyszínre utazott.

Tűz ütött ki egy idősek otthonában Krivij Rih területén. A történtek alatt senki nem sérült meg.
Az eset július 24-én hajnalban történt a Zalizna utcán, a tűz a háromemeletes épület földszintjén tört ki. A tűzoltók körülbelül egy óra alatt megfékezték a lángokat, s kimenekítettek az épületből 17 idős személyt.
A tűz okát és az általa okozott kár értékét még vizsgálják.
