 Az előző héthez képest az influenzás és légúti vírusfertőzéses megbetegedések száma 19,7%-kal csökkent.
 
 A minisztérium pontosította, hogy a héten 295 megerősített koronavírusos esetet regisztráltak. Egy fertőzött személy elhunyt, aki nem kapott védőoltást a Covid–19 ellen az elmúlt 12 hónapban.
 A héten 674 személy kapott influenza elleni védőoltást.

 A hírt január 11-én közölte Andrij Orfin, a megyei fertőző osztály igazgatóhelyettese. Elmondása szerint a gyerek súlyos tüdőgyulladással került kórházba, többet azonban nem árult el az esetről.
 „Az egy éven aluli gyermekek nehezen viselik az influenzát. Orvosnak kell megvizsgálnia őket, nem telefonon egyeztetni. A 65 év felettiek is veszélyben vannak. A koronavírus terjedése után láthattuk, hogy a fiataloknak is vannak mellékes betegségei. A terhes nők külön kategóriát alkotnak. Nem lehet, hogy egy 39 fokos lázas kismama otthon marad, látnia kell egy orvosnak” – mondta el.

 A statisztikai hivatal adatai szerint az influenzában és tüdőgyulladásban elhunytak száma 2020 januárjában 621 volt, míg 2019 első hónapjában ugyanezekben a betegségekben 908-an haltak meg. Az idén legtöbben, 59-en Dnyipropetrovszk megyében, 58-an Kijevben, 57-en Zaporizzsja, 48-an pedig Harkiv megyékben vesztették életüket a jelzett kórokban. Legkevesebben, 4-en Ivano-Frankivszk, 9–9-en Szumi, Cserkaszi és Csernyivci megyékben vesztették életüket hasonló okokból.
 Összehasonlításképpen: 2019 januárjában az influenza és tüdőgyulladás a legtöbb áldozatot, 99-et Kijevben, 88-at Dnyipropetrovszk, 71-et Zaporizzsja, 66–66-ot Harkiv és Donyeck, 55-öt Csernyihivi, 54-et Kijev megyékben szedte. Tehát Kijevben és Kijev megyében idén januárban csak 92-en haltak meg a két megbetegedésben szemben a múlt évi 143-al
 A statisztikai hivatal adata szerint 2019-ben a tüdőgyulladásos halálok 111-szer volt magasabb az influenzásnál. Tíz megyében egyetlen influenzás halálesetet sem regisztráltak a vizsgált időszakban.

 A jelentés szerint az idei év első hónapjában légzőszervi megbetegedések következtében összesen 1203 személy vesztette életét, közülük 621-en influenzában és tüdőgyulladásban. További 309 beteg tébécében, 199 pedig diabéteszben halt meg. Rosszindulatú daganat januárban 7040 emberrel végzett január folyamán Ukrajnában.

 A tárca adatai szerint az elmúlt egy hét alatt hat influenzás halálesetet regisztráltak (polimeráz-láncreakcióval igazoltan) az országban. A járvány kezdete óta 54-en vesztették életüket Ukrajnában influenzás megbetegedés és szövődményei következtében. Az egészségügyi hatóság közlése szerint az elhunytak egyike sem volt beoltva influenza ellen.
 Ukrajnában február 24. és március 6. között az egy héttel korábbinál alig kevesebb, 213,5 ezer influenzás és heveny felső légúti fertőzéses megbetegedést regisztráltak, az esetek 64,4 %-ában gyermekeknél. A megbetegedések intenzitása 566,7 főt tett ki 100 ezer lakosra számítva, ami közel 19 %-kal haladja meg a járványküszöböt.
 Az elmúlt héten országosan 280 fő oltatta be magát influenza ellen, a járvány kezdete óta körülbelül 38 ezer.

 Tízen haltak meg influenza megbetegedés és szövődményei következtében az eltelt egy hét alatt Ukrajnában – adta hírül szerdán hivatalos honlapján az egészségügyi minisztérium.
 A tárca adatai szerint tíz influenzás halálesetet regisztráltak (polimeráz-láncreakcióval igazoltan) egy hét leforgása alatt Ukrajnában. A járvány kezdete óta 48-an vesztették életüket az országban influenzás megbetegedés és szövődményei következtében. Az egészségügyi hatóság közlése szerint az elhunytak egyike sem volt beoltva influenza ellen.
 Ukrajnában február 17. és 23. között az egy héttel korábbinál valamivel kevesebb, 217,5 ezer influenzás és heveny felső légúti fertőzéses megbetegedést regisztráltak, az esetek 61 százalékában gyermekeknél. A megbetegedések intenzitása 568,7 főt tett ki 100 ezer lakosra számítva, ami 19,3 százalékkal haladja meg a járványküszöböt.
 Az elmúlt héten országosan 225 fő oltatta be magát influenza ellen, a járvány kezdete óta több mint 37 ezer.
