Amerikai katonai repülőgépek támadták meg az Iszlám Állam (ISIS) terrorcsoport több célpontját Szíriában.
Erről az amerikai fegyveres erők központi parancsnoksága (CENTCOM) és az ABC News számolt be. Azt azonban nem határozták meg, hogy Szíria mely részein helyezkedtek el a táborok.
Az amerikai hadsereg azt állítja, hogy a hadművelet megzavarta a fegyveresek azon képességét, hogy „támadásokat tervezzenek, szervezzenek és hajtsanak végre” az Egyesült Államok, szövetségesei és partnerei, valamint „polgári lakosság ellen a régióban és azon kívül”.
A harcok által okozott károk felmérése még folyamatban van, civil áldozatok nincsenek.

Az amerikai hadsereg katonáját végül 14 év börtönbüntetésre ítélte a bíróság, mert megpróbált segíteni az Iszlám Államnak, hogy az halálos csapást mérhessen amerikai csapatok ellen. Erről az igazságügyi minisztérium számolt be azt követően, hogy a hadbíróság meghozta az ítéletet.
A 24 éves Cole Gonzales leghamarabb 14 év múlva szabadulhat, majd azt követően 10 éven át felügyelet mellett élheti tovább az életét odakint. A Reuters azt írja, közlegényként dolgozott a hadseregben a fiatal katona, akit még 2021-ben buktattak le.
Kiderült, olyan személyeknek adott tippeket és útmutatást katonatársai megölésére vonatkozóan, akikről azt gondolta, az ISIS tagjai. Végül 2023 júniusában bűnösnek vallotta magát terrorizmus vádjában. Cole Gonzales 2019-ben lépett be a hadseregbe, ami előtt a minisztérium szerint érdeklődést mutatott az ISIS iránt az interneten, és ki is fejezte a támogatását a terroristák felé, de erről csak később szereztek tudomást a nyomozás során.

Németország rengeteg rendőri egységgel van jelen jelenleg az Európa-bajnokság miatt, különösen azokban a városokban, ahol mérkőzéseket rendeznek. Mintegy 2,7 millió szurkoló van jelen Németországban, ami egyúttal óriási felelősség is fenyegetettség miatt. Berlin arra kényszerült emiatt, hogy egy tengerentúli biztonsági személyzetet is alkalmazzon a védelem biztosítása érdekében.
Legutóbb egy olyan férfit tartóztattak le Németországban, akit azzal vádolnak, hogy az ISIS alvóügynöke volt. A hatóságok Mahmoud A néven azonosították a terroristát, aki egy iraki férfi, és Stuttgart külvárosában Esslingen tartózkodott, amikor elfogták.
2016 óta állt kapcsolatban a terrorszervezettel
Alig néhány órával azt követően fogták el, hogy a német hatóságok iszlám terrortámadások veszélyeire figyelmeztették az Európa-bajnokság szervezőit. A nyomozók szerint a férfi 2022 októberében érkezett Németországba, és feltehetően már 2016 óra kapcsolatban áll a terrorszervezettel.
Egyelőre nem világos, a terrorista hogyan juthatott be Németországba, tekintettel az előéletére. A BfV német hírszerző ügynökség vezetője, Thomas Haldenwang azt mondja, Németország a szélsőséges csoportok elsődleges célpontjává vált az Eb miatt, ugyanakkor hozzátette, a radikalizálódott magányos farkasok, akiknek nincs egyértelmű kapcsolata terrorszervezetekkel, szintén komoly aggodalmat jelentenek.
Egy héttel ezelőtt egy afgán férfit lőttek le a rendőrök, aki megölt egy embert, hármat pedig megsebesített a torna nyitómérkőzéséhez közel. A terrorelhárítók később egy baltával hadonászó férfira is tüzet nyitottak, aki Molotov-koktélt próbált dobni a hamburgi szurkolói zónára – írja a Metro.
Az elmúlt héten a Köln-Bonn repülőtér határőrei pedig letartóztattak egy másik gyanúsított ISIS-ügynököt, akit azzal vádolnak, hogy pénzügyi tranzakciót bonyolított le az ISIS-K-val még 2023-ban.

Az Iszlám Állam támogatóinak nevezték magukat azok a személyek, akik túszokat ejtettek egy fogolytáborban a rosztovi régióban.
A rosztovi 1. számú fogolytábor őreit az előzetes letartóztatásban lévő két személy ejtette túszul. A túszejtők magukat az Iszlám Állam terrorszervezet híveinek vallották.
Izvesztyia forrása szerint a túszejtők még szabadlábon terveztek a terrortámadást, de annak előkészítése közben őrizetbe vették őket. Jelenleg is folynak a tárgyalások a túszok szabadon bocsátásáról.
Korábban aznap a vádlott, akit a Szövetségi Büntetés-végrehajtási Szolgálat főosztályának 1. számú előzetes letartóztatási központjának egyik zárkájában tartottak fogva, túszul ejtette a büntetés-végrehajtás két alkalmazottját.
A Nexta egy felvételt is közzétett a túszejtőkkel. A lap tájékoztatása szerint, az ISIS-hez köthető vádlottak elfogták az orosz Rosztov-Don fogolytábor őreit. Kitörték cellájuk ablakrácsait, és bejutottak a szolgálati helyre. Az azonosított túszejtők között vannak olyan személyek, akiket korábban már elítéltek az ISIS-szel való kapcsolatuk miatt.

Az elkövetők válogatás nélkül lőttek a péntek esti koncert közönségére a Moszkva külvárosának tekinthető Krasznogorszkban.
A pénteki moszkvai terrortámadás elkövetését magára vállaló Iszlám Állam (ISIS) terrorszervezet közzétett egy fotót, amelyen állítólag a legkevesebb 133 ember halálát okozó támadást elkövető fegyveresek láthatók.
Az ISIS-hez köthető hírszolgálat, az Amaák szombaton négy embert ábrázoló fotót mutatott be, amelyen azonban az arcokat felismerhetetlenné tették. Az automata fegyverekkel, pisztolyokkal és bombákkal felfegyverkezett harcosok „súlyos csapást mértek” Oroszországra, amikor „egy koncertteremben több ezer keresztényt vettek célba” – fogalmazott az ISIS a közleményében.
A elkövetők válogatás nélkül lőttek a péntek esti koncert közönségére a Moszkva külvárosának tekinthető Krasznogorszkban lévő Crocus City Hall kulturális központ épületében.
Az orosz hatóságok 11 gyanúsítottat tartóztattak le, akik közül legalább négy személynek közvetlenül is köze lehetett a támadáshoz.

A 31 éves Muhammad Masood egy minnesotai kutató klinikán dolgozott, amikor kiderült, hogy az ISIS-hez akar csatlakozni.
Az ügyben érintett pakisztáni orvost a kormány informátorai buktatták le, akiknek azt mondta, az ismert terrorszervezethez akar csatlakozni és kész értük harcolni. A férfit még 2020-ban tartóztatták le, de már akkor tudni lehetett, hogy hosszú börtönbüntetés vár rá.
A pakisztáni orvos azt mondta, a fronton akar harcolni az Iszlám Államért, pénteken pedig megszületett az ítélet, melynek értelmében a következő 18 évét biztosan börtönben kell töltenie, amiért megpróbált az ISIS-hez csatlakozni.
A New York Times azt írja, hogy 31 éves férfi bűnösnek vallotta magát abban, hogy anyagi támogatást akart nyújtani a terrorszervezetnek. Az informátoroknak arról is beszélt, hogy magányos farkasként hajtana végre támadásokat az Egyesült Államokban, illetve harcolna és orvosként dolgoznak az ISIS-nek a Közel-Keleten.
Kész volt ártatlanokat ölni
Ha 18 év múlva szabadlábra is kerül, az azt követő 5 évben felügyelet alatt marad. 2020 márciusban tartóztatták le Minnesotában egy repülőtéren, mielőtt felszállhatott volna egy Los Angelesbe tartó járatra, ahol teherhajón keresztül ment volna tovább, egészen a Közel-Keletig, hogy csatlakozhasson az ismert terrorszervezethez.
Ügyvédje rendkívül szigorúnak nevezte az ítéletet, tekintettel védence mentális betegségeire. A bírót mindezt nem hatotta meg, és súlyos ítéletben részesítette az orvost, aki kész lett volna ártatlanokat gyilkolni.
Masood 2018 óta H-1B vízummal élt az Egyesült Államokban, és szülőhazájában, Pakisztánban orvosi engedéllyel rendelkezett. Titkosított közösségi médiaplatformon keresztül lépett kapcsolatba két kormányzati informátorral, akikről azt hitte, hogy az Iszlám Állam tagjai, és segítenek neki csatlakozni a szervezethez. Az informátorokkal folytatott beszélgetésekben kifejtette, „elege van” az Egyesült Államokban való életből, és terrortámadások végrehajtásáról elmélkedett.

Az Iszlám Állam (ISIS) terrorszervezetnek egy üzemanyag-objektum elleni támadását sikerült megakadályozni az oroszországi Tver megyében – közölte csütörtökön az orosz Szövetségi Biztonsági Szolgálat (FSZB).
A robbantásos merényletre készülő, az egyik közép-ázsiai köztársaságból származó, de orosz állampolgárságot szerzett férfit az FSZB kommandósai „semlegesítették”, amikor az elfogásakor fegyveres ellenállást tanúsított.
A tájékoztatás szerint a gyanúsított otthonában laboratóriumot hozott létre robbanóanyagok összeállítására.
A helyszínen a hatóságok lőfegyvert, lőszert, házilag összeszerelt robbanószerkezetet és robbanóanyagot foglaltak le. Az ügyben terrorcselekmény előkészítése címén eljárás indult.
Alekszandr Bortnyikov, az FSZB igazgatója március elején azt mondta, hogy Oroszországban az elmúlt tíz év alatt mintegy kétszáz terrorcselekményt sikerült megakadályozniuk a biztonsági szerveknek.
