A jelentés szerint a katonai megyevezető azt írta, hogy az ellenség több csoportban indított drónokat Izmail kikötője ellen. Sajnos volt találat. A kikötőben és más polgári infrastruktúrában károk keletkeztek. A következmények felszámolása folyamatban van. A katasztrófavédők dolgoznak a tűz megfékezésén.”
„Hárman súlyosan, hárman közepesen súlyosan megsérültek, őket kórházba szállították, és minden szükséges segítséget megadnak nekik” – mutatott rá Oleh Kiper.

A jelentés szerint a sajtószóvivő jelezte, az Állami Határőrszolgálat tájékoztatása szerint a masszív orosz támadás során az izmaili kikötő környékén orosz Shahedek zuhantak le és robbantak fel Románia területén. „Ez egy újabb megerősítése annak, hogy az orosz rakétaterror nemcsak Ukrajna, hanem a szomszédos országok, köztük a NATO-tagállamok biztonságára is óriási veszélyt jelent” – mutatott rá Oleh Nyikolenko.
A történtekkel összefüggésben a külügyi sajtószóvivő felszólította a partnerországokat, hogy gyorsítsák fel Ukrajna modern rakéta- és légvédelmi rendszerekkel, valamint harci repülőgépekkel való további felszerelését, ami erősíti Ukrajna, valamint a szomszédos államok infrastruktúrájának védelmét.
