Izrael indiai nagykövetségének szóvivője a Reuters hírügynökségnek elmondta, hogy az indiai rendőrség és biztonsági szolgálatok vizsgálják az incidenst.
Az izraeli külügyminisztérium tájékoztatása szerint a nagykövetségen dolgozók közül senki sem sérült meg, az izraeli hatóságok pedig együttműködnek az indiai partnerszervezetekkel, hogy kiderítsék a robbanás okát.
2021 januárjában kisebb pokolgép robbant Izrael újdelhi nagykövetsége közelében, akkor sem voltak áldozatok. Egy izraeli tisztségviselő akkor arról beszélt, hogy a zsidó állam terrorcselekményként kezeli az ügyet.
