A belga szövetségi ügyészség átadja a nemzetközi humanitárius jog megsértésének vádjával kapcsolatos állítások kivizsgálása érdekében kihallgatott két izraeli katona aktáit a hágai központú Nemzetközi Büntetőbíróságnak (ICC) – közölte a belga ügyészség tájékoztatására hivatkozva a The Brussels Times című, angol nyelvű brüsszeli hírportál csütörtökön.
A gázai konfliktus során a nemzetközi humanitárius jog megsértésének vádjával kapcsolatos állítások kivizsgálása miatt június 21-én rendelte el a két érintett izraeli kihallgatását a belga ügyészség két palesztinbarát civil szervezet által benyújtott panasz alapján, miközben az izraeli hadsereg két katonája a belgiumi Tomorrowland elektronikus zenei fesztiválon vett részt Belgiumban.
A szervezetek – amelyek azt állították, hogy az érintettek az izraeli hadsereg egyik alakulatának zászlaját lengették az Antwerpen közelében rendezett fesztiválon – a két izraelit a Gázai övezetben elkövetett háborús bűncselekményekkel és népirtással vádolják. Állításuk szerint a két férfi közvetlenül vett részt civil területek elleni szándékos támadásokban, kínzás alkalmazásában és a civilek erőszakos kitelepítésében.
A belga szövetségi ügyészség szerdai közlése szerint a két érintett izraeli aktáját azért adják át a hágai székhelyű Nemzetközi Büntetőbíróságnak, mivel a bírói szerv jelenleg vizsgálja a humanitárius jog lehetséges súlyos megsértését a palesztin területeken. „A panaszok elemzése után a szövetségi ügyészség úgy döntött, hogy az aktákat a Nemzetközi Büntetőbíróság elé utalja” – fogalmaztak.
A döntést a megfelelő igazságszolgáltatás, valamint Belgium nemzetközi kötelezettségeinek tiszteletben tartása érdekében hozták meg – olvasható a belga ügyészségnek a hírportál által idézett közleményében (ezek mellett nem zárható ki, hogy a palesztinpárti szervezetek nyomása is szerepet játszhatott abban, ahogy az ügyet a belga igazságszolgáltatás kezelte).

Izrael a közelmúltban fokozta katonai műveleteit azzal a kimondott céllal, hogy átvegye az ellenőrzést a teljes palesztin terület felett, felszámolja a Hamász iszlamista szervezetet és kiszabadítsa az utolsó túszokat, akiket a terrorszervezet 2023. október 7-ei példátlan támadása során raboltak el.
Az ENSZ pénteken elítélte, hogy fegyveresek „nagy mennyiségben” orvosi felszerelést és táplálékkiegészítőket raboltak el, amelyek éppen akkor érkeztek meg a Gázai övezet központjában lévő tábori kórházba.

Az izraeli hadsereg kivonult a Gázai övezet egy az enklávét kettészelő, Netzarim folyosó néven ismert területéről – közölte vasárnap a Hamász az Izrael és a palesztin fegyveres csoport közötti tűzszüneti megállapodás alapján – tudósít a Reuters.
Egy névtelenséget kérő izraeli biztonsági forrás megerősítette, hogy az izraeli hadsereg kivonul a Gáza középső részén lévő állásaiból. A Hamász győzelemként ünnepelte a kivonulást, és a Hamász által vezetett rendőri erők a területre települtek, hogy irányítsák az átvonuló palesztinok áramlását.
A nagyjából öt kilométer széles, az izraeli határtól a Földközi-tengerig húzódó, Gáza várostól délre fekvő folyosót az izraeli erők a háború kezdeti időszakában szállták meg.

Az izraeli hadsereg (IDF) katonái megölték Jahja esz-Szinvárt, a Hamász iszlamista terrorszervezet augusztusban kinevezett új politikai vezetőjét – jelentette a helyi média katonai források alapján csütörtökön.
Az izraeli hadsereg (IDF) hivatalosan is megerősítette, hogy az IDF katonái által a Gázai övezetben megölt terrorista a Hamász vezére, az Izrael ellen tavaly október 7-én végrehajtott terrortámadás feltételezett értelmi szerzője.
A Hamász három fegyveresével végeztek a közelmúltban Gázában, egyik Szinvár.
A helyszínen nem találtak izraeli túszokat.
A 12-es kereskedelmi televízió bemutatta a holttestet, amelyben felismerhető a terrorista, aki még a Hamász gázai vezetőjeként tervelte ki az október 7-i terrortámadást. Az izraeli erők a Ynet értesülése szerint egy véletlenszerű akcióban végeztek a három fegyveressel.
Véletlenszerű rafahi megölése után már a helyszínen azonosították fogászati és egyéb bizonyítékok, köztük a karórája alapján, majd az izraeli rendőrség közölte, hogy azonosítási osztálya a helyszínről származó fényképekkel is igazolta személyazonosságát. Az izraeli szakértők a fogak alapján gyorsan és pontosan tudnak dönteni, az eljárást a háború során többször alkalmazták.
A végső, a DNS-minták alapján történő vizsgálat eredménye is hamarosan várható, de a 13-as kereskedelmi televízióban megszólított szakemberek szerint ez már inkább csak formális kérdés, gyakorlatilag bizonyosak Jahja esz-Szinvár megölésében.

A Hezbollah szerint a Binjamina melletti támadás megtorlás volt a csütörtöki, Bejrútot ért izraeli csapásokért, amelyekben 22 ember vesztette életét.
A csoport azt mondta, hogy Izrael elit Golani dandárját vette célba, és több tucat rakétát lőtt ki az izraeli légvédelmi rendszerek ellen a drónokkal végrehajtott támadással párhuzamosan.
Ez a rakétatűz beindította a légvédelmi szirénákat északabbra, Haifa városában.
Izraelnek fejlett légvédelmi rendszerei vannak, ezért ritka, hogy ennyi ember sérüljön meg drónok vagy rakéták becsapódása következtében.

Négy izraeli katona életét vesztette a Gázai övezet déli részén kedden – közölte szerdán az izraeli hadsereg, hozzátéve, hogy további öt katona megsebesült, közülük hárman súlyosan.
A négy, 20 és 23 év közötti katona a Gázai övezet déli részén veszítette életét. Egy 20 éves női katonaorvos is van közöttük, ő az első katonanő, aki a 11 hónapja tartó gázai izraeli offenzíva során meghalt. A hadsereg rövid közleményében azt írta, hogy a katonák „a gázai harcok során estek el”, viszont a Ynet izraeli hírportál szerint Rafahban fegyverek és lőszerek után kutattak egy épületben, amikor robbanás történt, ez okozta a halálukat, illetve sebesülésüket.
A négy halálesettel 348-ra emelkedett az izraeli hadsereg által a Gázai övezetben indított szárazföldi offenzíva október 27-i kezdete óta meghalt izraeli katonák száma. A háborút a Hamász palesztin iszlamista mozgalom október 7-i Izrael elleni támadása robbantotta ki, amelynek következtében 1205 ember, többségében polgári személy vesztette életét, és az iszlamisták mintegy 240 embert ejtettek túszul és hurcoltak Gázába – derül ki az AFP francia hírügynökség hivatalos izraeli adatokon alapuló számításából.
Az ezt követően indított izraeli megtorlócsapások Gázában humanitárius katasztrófát okoztak, ezekben legalább 41 226 ember meghalt a gázai Hamász-kormány egészségügyi minisztériumának adatai szerint.

Korábban a Hamász palesztin iszlamista szervezet fegyveres szárnya azt közölte, hogy harcosai megtámadtak egy izraeli páncélozott járművet, és megöltek, illetve megsebesítettek több izraeli katonát Tel esz-Szultán térségében, Rafahtól nyugatra.
A környéken az izraeli hadsereg hetek óta folytat műveleteket. A térségben több ezer palesztin menekült zsúfolódott össze. Az izraeli hadsereg azt is közölte szombaton, hogy Rafahban nagy mennyiségű fegyvert foglaltak le részben földalatti rejtekhelyeken. A közlemény szerint palesztin fegyveresek pénteken öt rakétát lőttek ki a Gáza központjában létrehozott humanitárius körzetből.
A Hamásszal szövetséges Iszlám Dzsihád katonai ága, az Al-Kudsz Brigádok azt közölte egy szombaton a Telegramra feltöltött videóban, hogy Izrael csak akkor kaphatja vissza a Gázai övezetben fogva tartott túszokat, ha leállítja a háborút, és visszavonja katonáit a térségből.
Egy tavaly novemberi egyhetes tűzszünet óta minden hasonló próbálkozás rendre kudarcba fullad, miután a Hamász ragaszkodik az izraeli katonák teljes kivonulásához. Benjámin Netanjahu izraeli kormányfő viszont addig nem akar hozzájárulni a háború befejezéséhez, amíg a Hamászt teljesen meg nem semmisítik.
A gázai egészségügyi minisztérium legfrisseb adatai szerint a tavaly október óta tartó háborúban 37 ezer 296 palesztin halt meg.

A hét végén már 13 izraeli katona esett el a Gázai övezetben a térséget irányító Hamász iszlamista terrorszervezettel folytatott háborúban – jelentette be Daniel Hagari, az izraeli hadsereg (IDF) szóvivője vasárnap.
A tájékoztatás szerint szombaton nyolc, pénteken és szombaton összesen tizenhárom katona esett el a harcokban, hatan pedig súlyosan megsebesültek.
Az IDF bejelentette, hogy elfogtak egy, libanoni területről Izraelbe érkezett lövedéket Galileában. A libanoni belövések miatt Észak–Izraelben lezártak 12 utat a forgalom elől, valamint lezárták a határ négy kilométeres körzetében fekvő településeket.
A Háárec című izraeli újság honlapján megjelent, palesztin és Hamász-forrásokra támaszkodó jelentés szerint Egyiptom kéthetes fegyverszünetet ajánlott a Hamásznak cserébe 40 izraeli túsz szabadon bocsátásáért egy három szakaszból álló tűzszünet keretében.
Eszerint azt indítványozták a Kairóban tartózkodó Hamász-küldöttségnek, hogy először két hétre szüntessék be a harcokat 40 izraeli túsz, – nők, gyerekek és felnőttek, többségében betegek – elengedéséért, cserébe 120 palesztin fogoly szabadon bocsátásáért és nagy mennyiségben humanitárius segélyek, üzemanyag és gáz bejuttatásáért a Gázai övezetbe.
A második szakaszban új kormány alakulna a humanitárius segítségnyújtás és a sáv újjáépítésének felügyeletére, és a választások előkészítésére. Ezt követően tárgyalásokat folytatnának Izraellel egy átfogó tűzszünetről, amelyben hazamehetne az összes izraeli túsz nagyszámú fogolyért cserébe, és Izrael kivonná erőit az övezetből.
Izraelben január végére önkormányzat választásokat írtak ki, melyeket a háború miatt október végéről halasztottak el. A hadsereg jelentése szerint közel négyezer tartalékos indul a helyi választásokon, közülük hetvenen a polgármesteri vagy a a helyi regionális tanács vezetői székéért, száztizenöten pedig testületi tagságért versengenek.
Az IDF bejelentette, hogy a hadműveleti igények és a háborús helyzet függvényében felszabadítják őket szolgálatuk alól, hogy élhessenek választójogukkal és megválaszthassák őket, de vannak köztük, akiket fontosságuk miatt nem tudnak leszerelni a választások idejére.
Mose Arbel belügyminiszter kérésére a kormány vasárnap ismét dönt a helyi önkormányzati választások időpontjáról, az esetleges újabb halasztásról a hadsereg részletes álláspontjának ismeretében.
Az „Irányváltás” nevű tiltakozó mozgalom aktivistái elbarikádozták magukat vasárnap reggel egy olyan jeruzsálemi kormányépület bejáratánál, amely a Negev, Galilea és a Nemzeti Ellenállóképesség Minisztériumának, a Munkaügyi Minisztériumnak, a Társadalmi Egyenlőségi Minisztériumnak és a Regionális Együttműködés Minisztériumának ad otthont. Ezzel tiltakoznak a szerintük „felesleges minisztériumok” ellen. Beszámolók szerint az aktivisták a miniszterek képeivel ellátott bankjegyeket dobálnak a levegőbe, és azt kiabálják: „Mit tettél értünk október 7. óta?”.

Már 104 izraeli katona halt meg a Hamász palesztin iszlamista szervezet elleni szárazföldi hadműveletben a Gázai övezetben, ugyanis katonai szóvivők hétfőn hat újabb katona haláláról számoltak be.
Közülük hetvenen a humanitárius tűzszünetig, a többiek pedig december eleje óta, a harcok kiújulása óta vesztették életüket – tették hozzá.
A beszámoló szerint az övezet északi részén lévő Dzsabáliában pokolgépeket, kalasnyikov gépkarabélyokat és páncéltörő rakétát találtak az ENSZ palesztinokat segélyező szervezetének (UNRWA) táskáiba rejtve egy lakóépületben.
Ezenkívül találtak egy nagy hatótávolságú rakétákkal teli teherautót. Szintén Dzsabáliában alagutak lejárata és taposóaknák keresése közben egy lőszergyártásra használt esztergagépet és a Hamász egyik rakétakilövő-helyét fedezték fel mintegy ötven lövedékkel.
Az UNRWA becslése szerint az övezetben az Izrael és a Hamász között folyó háború miatt csaknem 1,9 millió ember volt kénytelen elhagyni otthonát, vagyis a lakosság csaknem nyolcvanöt százaléka. Figyelmeztettek, hogy az övezet déli részén uralkodó állapotok miatt a palesztinok arra kényszerülhetnek, hogy megpróbálnak Egyiptomba menekülni, ezért megrohanhatják a határt.
A libanoni síita Hezbollah milícia bejelentette, hogy két további fegyverese meghalt az izraeli hadsereggel történt összecsapásokban, így a fegyveres konfliktus kezdete óta már száz emberük vesztette életét.
Az izraeli biztonsági erők vasárnap éjjel Ciszjordániában letartóztattak tizennyolc körözött palesztint, közülük ötöt azzal gyanúsítanak, hogy a Hamászhoz tartozik. A hadsereg közlése szerint a háború kezdete óta eddig mintegy kétezerkétszáz körözött palesztint tartóztattak le Ciszjordániában, akik közül közel ezerkétszázan a Hamásszal álltak kapcsolatban.
Ciszjordániában, az izraeli arab közösségekben és a térség arab országaiban sztrájkot hirdettek hétfőre a gázaiakkal való szolidaritásként, és felszólításként a háború leállítására. Libanonban zárva maradt hétfőn az összes közintézmény és az üzletek is.
Jordániában és Törökországban is zárva maradtak az üzletek.
Az izraeli biztonságpolitikai kabinet vasárnap este megvitatta, hogy visszaengedjék-e izraeli munkahelyükre a ciszjordániai palesztin munkásokat, de Benjámin Netanjahu miniszterelnök elhalasztotta a szavazást az ügyben, mert kiderült, hogy a miniszterek többsége ellenzi az intézkedést.
A kabinet a szükséges többség hiányában azt sem szavazta meg, hogy átutalják a Palesztin Hatóságnak a számára beszedett, a Gázai övezetet illető vámbevételeket.
