Zajos és csúnya volt 2022–2023 fordulóján a brazil hatalomváltás, sokáig az is kérdés volt, hogy Jair Bolsonaro a választási veresége után hajlandó lesz-e átadni a hatalmat, és végül az új elnök, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva úgy költözött be az elnöki palotába, hogy Bolsonaro az Egyesült Államokba repült. Volt ennek az ügynek egy olyan mellékszála, amely még azóta sem zárult le: Lula azzal vádolta meg az elődjét, hogy 261 bútort elvitt magával a rezidenciáról, amikor kiköltözött onnan.
Ezeknek a pótlása azóta közpénzből megoldotta a brazil kormány – ehhez képest most szóltak, hogy többtucatnyit megtaláltak közülük, méghozzá az elnöki palotában.
A BBC azt írja, hogy a palota egy közelebbről meg nem nevezett pontján lettek meg a bútorok, de hogy pontosan hol, és hogy több mint egy év alatt ezt miért nem vette észre senki, azt nem tudni.
Így aztán most Bolsonaro és a lopással szintén meggyanúsított felesége azt követeli, hogy kérjen bocsánatot az elnök, és ismerje el, hogy hamis volt a vád.
Bolsonarónak februárban amúgy elvették az útlevelét, és nem engedik, hogy elhagyja Brazíliát, azt vizsgálják ugyanis, hogy milyen szerepe volt azokban a zavargásokban, amelyekben egy héttel Lula beiktatása után több ezren ostromolták meg az elnöki hivatalt, a kongresszust és a legfelsőbb bíróságot, hogy ne ismerjék el a választás eredményét.

A brazil szövetségi rendőrség hivatalosan is megvádolta Jair Bolsonaro volt elnököt azzal, hogy hamis adatok szerepelnek a koronavírus elleni oltási igazolásán, így már vádat emelhetnek ellene a legfelsőbb bíróságon – közölte a Reuters egy rendőrségi jelentésre hivatkozva kedden.
A szövetségi kormány ellenőrzési hivatala már korábban megállapította, hogy Bolsonaro oltási igazolása hamis. A volt brazil elnök, aki a koronavírus-járvány idején többször megkérdőjelezte a kórokozó veszélyességét és az oltások hatékonyságát, a hivatalos nyilvántartás szerint 2021 júliusában kapott védőoltást egy Sao Paolóban. Az igazoláson szereplő adatok hitelessége miatt tavaly májusban indítottak vizsgálatot a szövetségi kormány ellenőrzési hivatala.
A hatóság megállapította, hogy az igazoláson szereplő adatok nem felelhetnek meg a valóságnak, mert Bolsonaro az oltás állítólagos felvétele előtt egy nappal elhagyta a várost, Brasíliából pedig csak három nappal később utazott el ismét. Az az ápoló, aki az igazolás szerint beadta a védőoltást, tagadta, hogy beoltotta volna az akkori elnököt, mindemellett a feltüntetett oltóanyag azon a napon nem volt elérhető azon a helyen, ahol a papír szerint Bolsonaro oltást kapott.
A névtelenséget kérő források szerint Bolsanarót azzal vádolták meg, hogy hamis adatokat juttatott az ország közegészségügyi rendszerébe (SUS) és bűnszervezetet hozott létre.
A volt elnök a Reuters hírügynökségnek azt mondta, hogy nem vette fel a vakcinát, és semmi rosszat nem tett.
„Ez egy szelektív nyomozás. Nyugodt vagyok. A világ tudja, hogy nem vettem fel a vakcinát” – mondta Bolsonaro.
Az Egészségügyi Világszervezet adatai szerint Brazíliában követelte az egyik legtöbb halálos áldozatot járvány, több mint 700 ezren vesztették életüket.
A 68 éves Bolsonarót két, hatalommal való visszaélés miatti ügyben már elítélték, emiatt 2030-ig nem indulhat újra az elnöki posztért, de ettől függetlenül máig a brazil belpolitika aktív szereplője.

A brazil ügyészség vizsgálatot indított a 68 éves politikussal szemben annak gyanújával, hogy a történtek hátterében állt, és puccsra bujtotta fel híveit hivatali utódjával szemben.
A kétórás meghallgatást követően Bolsonaro egy elsötétített üvegű autóval távozott a fővárosi rendőrfőkapitányságról anélkül, hogy nyilatkozott volna.
Szóvivője útján közölte, hogy tagad mindenféle kapcsolatot a történtekkel. Fábio Wajngarten szerint a volt elnök elítéli a pusztítást és lezárta a választások ügyét a veresége napjával.
Bolsonaro hívei egy héttel az után rohanták meg a kongresszus, a legfelsőbb bíróság és az elnöki palota épületét, hogy beiktatták hivatalába az őt legyőző, baloldali Luiz Inácio Lula da Silvát. Az új elnök a rendőrség és a katonaság egyes tagjait is azzal vádolta meg, hogy együttműködtek a támadókkal.
A brazil legfelsőbb bíróság egyik bírája április közepén döntött Bolsonaro meghallgatásáról.

Flavio Dino, brazil igazságügyi miniszter hétfőn felszólította a rendőrséget az ügy kivizsgálására.
A 3,2 millió dollár értékben az országba bevinni kívánt ékszereket még 2021 októberében foglalták le vámosok Sao Paulo nemzetközi repülőterén. A helyi média jelentése szerint az évek során a Bolsonaro-kormány többször, kormányzati tisztviselőkön keresztül próbálta meg visszaszerezni a lefoglalt ékszereket, amelyeket a volt brazil államfő és felesége, Michelle Bolsonaro ajándékba kapott a szaúdi kormánytól. A brazil törvények értelmében 1000 dollár értékű árut lehet bevinni az országba, az ennél értékesebb dolgokat jelentős mértékű vám terheli.
Bolsonaro elmondása szerint azt tervezi, hogy visszatér Brazíliába, hogy az ellenzék élére állva elutasítsa az őt ért vádakat a januári zavargásokkal kapcsolatban. A volt brazil államfő korábban azt is jelezte, hogy indulni kíván a 2026-os elnökválasztáson.
Január 8-án Bolsonaro hívei összecsaptak a rendőrséggel, és behatoltak a parlament, az elnöki palota és a szövetségi legfelsőbb bíróság épületébe.
A tavalyi elnökválasztáson Bolsonaro baloldali kihívója, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva aratott győzelmet. A volt elnök mindazonáltal nem ismerte el egyértelműen választási vereségét, és a mandátuma lejártával Floridába távozott. Január végén a volt elnök turistavízumot is igényelt az országban.

A YouTube néhány órával később azt közölte, hogy Bolsonaro videója megszegte „a COVID-19-cel kapcsolatos orvosi dezinformációra vonatkozó szabályt, mivel azt állította, hogy a vakcina nem csökkenti a fertőzés veszélyét, és hogy más fertőzéseket okoz”.

Büntetőeljárás kezdeményezését fontolgatja brazil szenátorok egy csoportja Jair Bolsonaro elnök ellen a koronavírus-járványkezelés hiányosságai miatt – írja a Portfolió az AP News alapján.
A „G7” néven emlegetett szenátusi csoport, akik Bolsonaro politikai ellenzékének tagjai, összesen 11 vádpontot akarnak emelni az elnök ellen, szóba került többek közt a „sarlatánizmus” mellett a népirtás és gyilkosság vádja is.
A népirtással és gyilkossággal kapcsolatos vádeljárást a szenátorok közül hárman ellenezték, viszont a maradék négy győzködik őket jelenleg arról, hogy változtassák meg véleményüket.
A vádemelésből akkor indulhat eljárás, ha Brazília főügyésze jóváhagyja a szenátorok indítványát, melyre nem sok esély van, hiszen a jelenlegi főügyész Bolsonaro kinevezettje. Éppen ezért az elemzők politikai indíttatásúnak nevezték a szenátorok lépését.
Bolsonaro eleinte ellenezte a koronavírus-védekezési mechanizmusok bevetését és „enyhe influenzának” hívta többször is a Kínából kiindult betegséget. Brazíliában eddig 600 ezer koronavírusos beteg halt meg, ez a második legmagasabb halálozási szám a világon.

Több mint 160 brazil városban tüntettek Jair Bolsonaro elnök ellen szombaton – számolt be a Telex a BBC-re hivatkozva.
A több eres tüntetéseket az ellenzéki pártok és a szakszervezetek szervezték meg. A legtöbben amiatt vonultak utcára, mert szerintük az elnök nem kezelte megfelelően a járványt.
Brazíliában már több mint 600 ezren haltak bele a SARS-CoV-2 fertőzés szövődményeibe, ehhez képest az elnök végig szkeptikus volt a járvánnyal kapcsolatban. Tavaly decemberben például azt mondta, hogy nem oltatja be magát, mert akár krokodillá is változhat a védőoltástól. Márciusban már a negyedik új egészségügyi minisztert nevezték ki a járvány kezdete óta.
„Ez az elnök megtestesít mindent, ami visszamaradott a világban – éhezés, szegénység, korrupció. Mi azért vagyunk itt, hogy megvédjük a demokráciát” – mondta egy tüntető az AFP-nek.
Bolsonaro ellen már több mint 100 impeachment-eljárást kezdeményeztek, de az illetékes hatóság eddig egyikkel sem foglalkozott érdemben. A brazil legfelsőbb bíróság viszont több, az elnököt vizsgáló nyomozást is engedélyezett.
Szeptemberben óriási demonstrációra hívta a híveit az ország függetlenségének napján és sokan valóban az utcára vonultak, de minden esetben ellentüntetőkkel találkoztak. Májusban már tízezrek tüntettek az elnök ellen.
A választások pont egy év múlva lesznek, de a felmérések alapján a brazilok 61 százaléka szerint a kormány rosszul vagy nagyon rosszul teljesít. Mikor Bolsonaro hatalomra került, ez a szám 23 százalék volt.

Szigorú irányelveket vezetett be korábban a YouTube a koronavírussal kapcsolatos álhírek és tévinformációk kapcsán, melynek most Jair Bolsonaro látta kárát.
A brazil elnök már korábban is felhívta magára arra a figyelmet, hogy a koronavírussal kapcsolatban olyan állításokat tett, amelyek felháborították a közvéleményt. Nem egyszer mondta, hogy nem súlyosabb, mint egy influenza, egyszer pedig megmondta a braziloknak, hogy „ne nyavalyogjanak” a sok haláleset miatt.
A YouTube pedig most több videóját is letörölte Bolsonarónak, de indoklásuk szerint ennek nincs köze a politikához, minden videót alaposan megvizsgáltak, mielőtt törlésre kerültek – számolt be róla a The Hill.
A platform szóvivője az amerikai hírportálnak nyilatkozva indokolta meg, hogy az elnök többször is beszélt arról, hogy a hidroxiklorokin és az ivermectin kiválóan alkalmas arra, hogy megelőzze és kezelje a koronavírust, ami mivel indoklásuk szerint nem alátámasztott, így álhírnek minősül.
Fontos megjegyezni ugyanakkor, hogy bár a hidroxiklorokin esetében ez bizonyított, az ivermectin esetében nem kétséget kizáróan bizonyított, hogy nem hatásos, korábban több arra utaló jel volt, hogy az ivermectin rendkívül hatásos, például Mexikóban.
A YouTube irányelvei szerint azonban az ivermectinről és a hidroxiklorokin koronavírusra tett hatásairól beszélni nem szabad, így az volt az egyik sérelmes pont Bolsonarótól. A másik az volt, hogy többször azt állította, hogy a maszk nem véd meg a vírustól, az pedig szintén álhírnek minősül az irányelvek szerint.
A szóvivő kijelentette, hogy az irányelveiket nem hasraütésszerűen alkották meg, a helyi és globális egészségügyi hatóságok iránymutatásaihoz alkalmazkodnak a platformon is, amelyet folyamatosan, az új információkkal szoktak frissíteni.
