Izraelben több mint 15 ezren tüntettek a gázai háború lezárását követelve, és arra szólították fel Benjamin Netanjahu miniszterelnököt, hogy fogadja el a fennmaradó túszok szabadon bocsátásáról szóló megállapodást. A jelentések szerint Gázában még 48 túszt tarthatnak fogva, közülük mintegy húszan lehetnek életben – számolt be az Index.
Szombat este Tel-Avivban és Jeruzsálemben az elmúlt hónapok legnagyobb tüntetései voltak, ahol a megmaradt túszok szabadon bocsátását és a háború befejezését követelték. A jeruzsálemi Párizs téren több mint 15 ezren vonultak fel – adta hírül a BBC.
Az információk szerint Gázában még 48 túszt tartanak fogva, köztük akár 20-an is életben lehetnek. A tüntetés egyik helyszíne az izraeli miniszterelnök, Netanjahu jeruzsálemi rezidenciájának közelében volt. A demonstráción felszólalók egymás után követelték a miniszterelnöktől, hogy kössön megállapodást a Hamásszal, hogy a szeretteik csaknem két év után hazatérhessenek. Sok tüntető szerint a háború kiterjesztése tovább veszélyezteti a túszok életét.
Ez nem fenyegetés, miniszterelnök úr. Ha történik valami, megfizet érte – ez egy anya szava
– mondta Anat Angrest, akinek a fiát Gázában ejtették túszul.
Semmi jele a háború befejezésének
Izrael miniszterelnöke azonban nem mutatta jelét a háború befejezésének. Pedig számos korábbi katonai vezető is kijelentette már, hogy amit el tudott érni, azt már elérte az Izraeli Védelmi Erők Gázában, anélkül, hogy tovább veszélyeztetné a túszok életét és súlyosbítaná a humanitárius válságot.
Állítólag ezt a nézetet vallja számos szolgálatot teljesítő hadseregtábornok is, de most a kormányuk arra kéri őket, hogy készüljenek fel egy hatalmas szárazföldi behatolásra, amelynek célja Gáza város és a háború sújtotta palesztin enklávé többi részének elfoglalása lenne.
Augusztus elején az izraeli miniszterelnöki hivatal közölte, hogy a biztonsági kabinet jóváhagyta a Benjamin Netanjahu miniszterelnök által előterjesztett biztonsági tervet a Hamász szélsőséges szervezet legyőzésére a Gázai övezetben. Ennek keretében a hadművelet fokozatosan történik, először Gáza városát foglalja el az izraeli hadsereg (IDF), majd a központi menekülttáborokat. A kabinet döntése értelmében Gáza város civil lakosságának kitelepítését be kell fejezni október 7-ig, a Hamász terrortámadásának „szimbolikus határidejéig”. Ezt követően ostrom alá vonják a városban maradt Hamász-harcosokat. A hivatalos döntés nem tartalmazza a harcok leállításának lehetőségét túszalku esetén sem, maga Netanjahu ragaszkodott hozzá, hogy a hadművelet ne álljon le.

A rendőrség szerint két szolgálaton kívüli katona és egy fegyveres civil a környéken viszonozta a tüzet, a lövöldözésben meghalt a két terrorista. A támadók a 38 éves Murad Namr és a 30 éves Ibrahim Namr testvérek voltak Kelet-Jeruzsálemből.
A Shin Bet biztonsági ügynökség szerint a két elkövető a Hamász tagjai voltak, és korábban terrorcselekmény miatt börtönözték be őket. A felvételek az látszik, hogy a terroristák M–16-os géppuskával és kézifegyverrel voltak felfegyverkezve. A járműben a rendőrség átvizsgálása során nagy mennyiségű lőszert találtak – írja a The Times of Israel.
A rendőrség tájékoztatása szerint a rendőrök átkutatják a környéket, hogy kizárják a további támadásokat. A mentőszolgálat közölte, hogy az orvosok egy 24 éves nő halálát a helyszínen állapították meg, nyolc másik személyt pedig jeruzsálemi kórházakba szállítottak.
Később egy jeruzsálemi kórházban halottnak nyilvánítottak egy idős férfit és egy nőt, akik súlyosan megsebesültek. Egyik halálos áldozatot sem nevezték meg azonnal nyilvánosan. Az MDA szerint további két áldozat állapota súlyos, három közepes, egy pedig jó állapotban van. A buszmegállóban majdnem pontosan egy éve történt egy halálos bombatámadás.

A támadó egy Mazdával hajtott a buszmegállóban várakozók közé. Ketten azonnal meghaltak, köztük egy ötéves gyerek és egy, a húszas éveiben járó férfi. Legalább öt embert kórházba vittek – írja helyszíni beszámolójában a The Times of Israel.
A várakozók közül többen fegyvert szegeztek a kocsira, végül egy rendőr lőtte le a helyszínen a sofőrt. A támadásban egy 47 éves férfit és 23 éves fiát érte találat. Eszméletüknél voltak, mikor kórházba szállították őket. A mentők tájékoztatása szerint közepesen súlyos és súlyos sebesülést szenvedtek.

Két helyszínen is robbantásos merényletet követtek el szerda reggel Jeruzsálem környékén, négyen életveszélyesen, legkevesebb tízen kevésbé súlyosan megsebesültek – adta hírül az MTI az izraeli katonai rádió jelentése alapján.
A két pokolgép félórás különbséggel robbant fel, először a város bejáratánál található autóbusz-megállóban, majd a Ramot lakónegyedhez vezető egyik kereszteződésben található megállóban.
A sebesülteket kórházba szállították, a rádió műsora szerint négyen közülük olyan súlyosan sebesültek meg, hogy az orvosok az életükért küzdenek. A Jeruzsálembe vezető főutakat a rendőrség lezárta.

A támadások egy héttel azután történtek, hogy a Gázai övezetben palesztin fegyvereseket célzó izraeli rajtaütésekben 44 embert öltek meg. Hárman meghaltak és legalább hét ember megsérült, miután ismeretlen fegyveresek tüzet nyitottak Jeruzsálem különböző pontjain. A katasztrófavédelem beszámolója szerint a támadók helyi idő szerint 22 óra után rálőttek egy buszra, és lövöldözni kezdtek a Siratófal melletti parkolóban.
A fegyveresek a támadás után elmenekültek, a rendőrség jelenleg is vizsgálja tartózkodási helyüket. Az azonban egyelőre nem világos, hány támadó volt összesen. A hatóság szóvivője a helyi sajtónak azt nyilatkozta, hogy az esetet feltételezett terrortámadásként kezelik.
A mentőszolgálat beszámolójából kiderült, több sérültet is el kellett látniuk, akik közül ketten kritikus állapotban vannak. Hozzátették: az áldozatokat – hat férfit és egy nőt – jeruzsálemi kórházakba szállították.
A közösségi médiában felfegyverzett rendőrök láthatók a helyszínen, a helyi sajtó pedig arról számolt be, hogy az embereket rövid időre megakadályozták abban, hogy elhagyják a nyugati falat. Kiemelték: a rendőrség megkezdte a terület biztosítását, az ügy kivizsgálását és az elmenekült gyanúsítottak felkutatását.

Összecsapások törtek ki vasárnap ismét a jeruzsálemi Templom-hegyen palesztinok és az izraeli biztonsági erők között, miután több száz palesztin gyűlt ott össze, és kövekkel és vasrudakkal eltorlaszolta a szent helyek bejáratát. Előtte palesztinok kövekkel dobáltak meg autóbuszokat, amelyeken zsidók utaztak Jeruzsálem óvárosába, hogy a Templom-hegyre látogassanak.
Az összecsapásokban többtucatnyi palesztin megsebesült. Előtte a buszokban öt utas sérült meg. A rendőrök őrizetbe vettek két feltételezett kődobáló palesztint, írta meg az MTI.
Pénteken még súlyosabb összecsapások voltak a Templom-hegyen, az izraeli rendfenntartók több mint háromszáz palesztint őrizetbe vettek. Erre számítva aznapra fokozott készültségbe helyezték az izraeli biztonsági erőket, mert egybeesett a muszlim böjti hónapnak, a ramadánnak a második péntekje, a keresztény nagypénteki menet az óvárosban, valamint a nyolcnapos zsidó pészah.
A palesztinok haragját az váltotta ki akkor, hogy egy maroknyi zsidónak szándékában állt felmenni a Templom-hegyre, ahol a ’70-ben lerombolt zsidó szentély helyén a muszlimok harmadik legfontosabb szent helyének számító Al-Aksza mecset áll, és ott hagyományos pészahi áldozatot akartak bemutatni.
Az izraeli–palesztin megállapodások szerint a Templom-hegyet, arab nevén az al-Haram as-Sarífot a muszlimok felügyelik, de a biztonsági kérdésekért az izraeli rendőrség felel. A zsidóknak szabad látogatniuk, de tilos imádkozniuk és vallási szertartásokat végezniük ott.
A Templom-hegytől nem messze van a Szent Sír-bazilika, amelyben pedig délelőtt a húsvétvasárnapi misén vettek részt katolikusok.

Összecsapások törtek ki az Al-Aksza mecsetnél Jeruzsálemben a palesztinok és az izraeli biztonsági erők között – jelentette a Jediót Ahronót című újság hírportálja, a ynet pénteken.
A muzulmán böjti hónap, a ramadán második péntekének reggelén több tucat muszlim hívő elbarikádozta magát az Al-Aksza mecsetben, az épület előtt pedig tömegek skandálták, hogy „Mi vagyunk Mohamed Def népe” – utalva a Gázai övezetet uraló Hamász terrorszervezet katonai vezetőjére.
A rendőrök tömegoszlató eszközöket használva betörtek az épületbe. A Palesztin Vörös Félhold szerint az összecsapásoknak legalább 59 sérültje van. Később palesztinok kövekkel dobálták az óvároshoz közeli Oroszlános kapunál álló határvédő rendőri egységet.
Az izraeli rendőrség azt közölte, hogy hajnali 4 óra körül több tucat arab fiatal felvonulást indított a Templom-hegy környékén a Hamász terrorszervezet zöld és a palesztinok zászlóival.
Néhányan közülük petárdákat és köveket dobáltak. Később köveket, deszkákat és egyéb tárgyakat gyűjtöttek ahhoz, hogy elbarikádozzák magukat a mecsetben. A reggeli ima után heves zavargás kezdődött, amelyben köveket és más tárgyakat dobáltak a rendfenntartók felé, valamint petárdákat lőttek.
Pénteken az izraeli biztonsági erők fokozott készültségben állnak, ugyanis ezen a napon egybeesik a muzulmán ramadán második péntekje, a nagypénteki menet az óvárosban, valamint megkezdődik a nyolc napos zsidó pészach a széder estével.
Várhatóan palesztinok tízezrei utaznak Jeruzsálembe, hogy részt vegyenek a Templom-hegyen lévő Al-Aksza mecsetnél tartott délutáni imán. A palesztinok haragját az váltotta ki, hogy egy maroknyi zsidónak szándékában állt felmenni a Templom-hegyre, ahol a 70-ben lerombolt zsidó Szentély helyén a muszlimok harmadik legfontosabb szent helyének számító Al-Aksza áll, hogy ott hagyományos pészachi áldozatot mutassanak be.
Csütörtök reggel az izraeli rendőrség letartóztatott és kihallgatásra vitt hat zsidó fiatalt. Egyikük otthonában egy kecskét találtak, és azzal gyanúsítják őket, hogy annak feláldozását tervezték Jeruzsálem óvárosában, a Templom-hegyen pészach előtt – jelentette a The Times of Israel című angol nyelvű hírportál péntek reggel.
A „Visszatérés a hegyre” nevű szélsőséges csoport – amely egy harmadik zsidó Szentély építését szorgalmazza a két korábbi Szentély helyén Jeruzsálemben – szórólapot terjesztett, amelyben pénzjutalmat ajánlott fel azoknak, akiknek sikerül élő áldozatot bemutatniuk a Templom-hegyen.
Az egyezmények szerint a Templom-hegyet, arab nevén a Haram as-Sarífot a muzulmánok felügyelik, de a biztonsági kérdésekért az izraeli rendőrség felel. A zsidóknak szabad látogatniuk, de tilos imádkozniuk és vallási szertartásokat végezniük ott.
Az elmúlt hetekben jelentősen megnőtt a feszültség Izrael és a palesztinok között, mert 14 ember vesztette életét négy különböző izraeli városban végrehajtott terrortámadásban. Az izraeli hadsereg fokozta ciszjordániai tevékenységét, a katonák őrizetbe vették különböző terrorszervezetek számos tagját, hogy ezzel megkíséreljék megfékezni az erőszakhullámot.
