A cseh ANO párt elnökét, Andrej Babist egy választási gyűlésen Dobrá településen, Frýdek-Místek járásban, Ostrava közelében ért támadás. Ales Juchelka (ANO) képviselő arról adott tájékoztatást, hogy a gyűlés egyik résztvevője bottal fejbe verte őt. A rendőrség azonnal intézkedett és vizsgálatot is indított, a politikust pedig kórházba szállították – írta a sita.sk.
Megerősíthetem, hogy Andrej Babiš-t megtámadták a Dobrában tartott gyűlésen. Hátulról fémtárggyal fejbe ütötték, majd kórházba ment kivizsgálásra – nyilatkozta az ANO szóvivője, Martin Vodicska.
A támadást Ales Juchelka képviselő is megerősítette, aki Babist kísérte a választási kampány rendezvényén. „Az elnököt az egyik polgár támadta meg mankóval. A férfi fejbe ütötte” – nyilatkozta Juchelka a Novinky.cz-nek, hozzátéve: a politikus állapotát vizsgálják.
A támadást elítélte Vít Rakusan belügyminiszter és a STAN mozgalom elnöke.
Az erőszak bármilyen formája elfogadhatatlan, és semmit sem old meg. Egyértelműen elítélem a mai támadást Andrej Babiš ellen. Jobb jövőt országunknak az érvek és eszmék összecsapásában kell keresnünk, nem pedig a fizikai erőszakban – írta az X-oldalán.
Remélem, hogy Babis úr sérülései nem súlyosak, és bízom benne, hogy a rendőrség gyorsan kivizsgálja az esetet – tette hozzá Rakusan.
Babis a gyűlöletkampány áldozata
Az ANO mozgalom első alelnöke, Karel Havlícsek kijelentette, hogy „a támadás közvetlen következménye a gyűlöletkampánynak, amelyet a Spolu koalíció, (a Polgári Demokrata Párt, a kereszténydemokrata KDU-ČSL és a liberálkonzervatív TOP 09 szövetsége), a Piráti cseh párt és a STAN párt folytat.

Súlyosan megsebesült egy kolumbiai szenátor, a jövő évi elnökválasztás egyik lehetséges jelöltje, amikor rálőttek egy Bogotában tartott kampánygyűlésen szombaton.
Miguel Uribe Turbay kolumbiai szenátor Konzervatív Demokrata pártja közleményében „elfogadhatatlan erőszakos cselekménynek” nevezte az esetet.
A 39 éves politikust a főváros Fontibon kerületének egyik parkjában fegyveres támadók hátulról lőtték le.
A szenátort kórházba szállították, orvosai szerint az állapota kritikus. A rendőrség azt közölte, hogy a politikust két találat érte, és a támadók két másik személyt is megsebesítettek. A rendőrségi közlemény szerint a helyszínen letartóztattak egy 15 éves fiút, akinél lőfegyvert találtak.
A kolumbiai kormány jutalmat ajánlott föl az elkövetők kézrekerítéséért.
Gustavo Petro kolumbiai államfő lemondta tervezett franciaországi útját „az események súlyossága miatt” – áll az elnöki közleményben. Kolumbiában jövő május 31-én tartanak elnökválasztást. Miguel Uribe Turbay szenátor márciusban jelentette be, hogy indul az elnökválasztáson.
Marco Rubio amerikai külügyminiszter az X-en azt közölte, hogy az Egyesült Államok a lehető leghatározottabban elítéli a Miguel Uribe szenátor elleni merényletet, továbbá hogy ez közvetlen fenyegetést jelent a demokráciára, és a kolumbiai kormány legfelsőbb szintjeiről érkező erőszakos baloldali retorika eredménye.

Tortát dobott egy fiatal nő Christian Lindner, a német Szabaddemokrata Párt (FDP) elnökének arcába Greifswaldban – írja a Die Welt. A lap szerint a nő a Baloldali Párt (Die Linke) tagja, a szervezet elhatárolódott a történtektől. A papírtányéron, amely a szappantortával a politikus felé repült, a következő szavak olvashatók voltak: „a szabadság szeretetéért”.
„Sajnos nem krém volt, hanem csak szappan (…) Legalább jobban csinálhatták volna, akkor kihoztam volna belőle valamit” – mondta Lindner, miután letörölte a habot az arcáról. A német liberálisok azonban felháborítónak nevezték az esetet.
Németországban február 23-án tartanak előrehozott választásokat, miután összeomlott a „jelzőlámpa-koalíciónak” is nevezett, szociáldemokratákból (SPD), szabaddemokratákból (FDP) és zöldekből (Bündnis 90/Die Grünen) alkotta hárompárti kormánykoalíció. Az előrehozott választás előzménye, hogy november végén Olaf Scholz menesztette Christian Lindner pénzügyminisztert, ezután az FDP kilépett a koalícióból. Ezt követően bizalmi szavazást tartottak a Bundestagban, amelyet Scholz elveszített ezért feloszlott a a német törvényhozás és december 27-én Frank Walter-Steinmeier elnök kiírta a választások időpontját.
Lindner pártja jelenleg a bejutásért küzd, a felmérések szerint országos szinten 4 százalékon állnak, miközben a kereszténydemokraták (CDU/CSU) 31 százalékkal és az Alternatíva Németországnak (AfD) 20 százalékkal vezetik a közvélemény-kutatásokat.

Arcon ütötték Mario Kumpf német politikust, a jobboldali Alternatíva Németországnak (AfD) párt tagját egy Németország keleti részén fekvő város szupermarketjében szerda délután.
Kumpfot, aki 2019 óta a szászországi parlament képviselője, Ebersbach-Neugersdorf egy boltjában inzultálta egy ismeretlen támadó, aki ezt követően a rendőrségi közlemény szerint folytatta a bevásárlást.
A rendőrséget a politikus értesítette. A helyszínre érkező rendőrök őrizetbe vették az 53 éves feltételezett elkövetőt.
Olaf Scholz német kancellár korábban felháborítónak és gyávának nevezte a politikusok és politikai aktivisták elleni erőszakos bűncselekményeket, amelyek egyre gyakoribbakká váltak az utóbbi időben.
Május elején Drezdában Matthias Eckét, a Szociáldemokrata Párt (SDP) politikusát, európai parlamenti képviselőt egy négytagú banda bántalmazta olyan brutálisan, hogy kórházba került.
Pár nappal később pedig szintén a Szociáldemokrata Párt (SDP) tagját, Franziska Giffey berlini gazdaság- és energiaügyért felelős szenátort érte támadás a német főváros egy könyvtárában. Yvonne Mosler zöldpárti politikust pedig akkor bántalmazták és fenyegették meg, mikor plakátokat helyezett ki Drezdában.

Összeomlott Mexikóban egy kampányrendezvénynek otthont adó színpad, a balesetben az első hivatalos információk szerint öten meghaltak, tizenöten megsérültek.
A Nuevo León államban tartott rendezvényen jelen volt az egyik elnökjelölt, Jorge Álvarez Máynez is, ő az X közösségi oldalon személyesen tudatta, hogy jól van.
A baleset idején készült videofelvételeken látható, hogy Máynez a színpadon integet, miközben a tömeg a nevét skandálja, de mikor felnéz, meglátja, hogy felé dől az óriási kivetítő és egy fémszerkezet, és hogy elkerülje, a színpad hátsó részébe rohan.
Samuel Garcia, Nuevo León kormányzója, Álvarez Máynez Polgári Mozgalom pártjának egyik vezetője videoüzenetben kérte a helyieket, hogy néhány óráig ne hagyják el otthonaikat. A kormányzó tájékoztatása szerint a balesetnek legkevesebb kilenc halálos áldozata volt, köztük egy gyerek, és több mint hatvanan megsérültek.
Miguel Trevino, a település polgármestere a közösségi médiában arról is beszámolt, hogy a jelentések szerint három ember a törmelékek alá szorult, és megsérült.
A helyszínen a mentőszolgálat, valamint a polgári védelem látta el a sérülteket.
Andrés Manuel López Obrador mexikói elnök együttérzését fejezte ki az áldozatok családtagjainak, barátainak és politikai támogatóinak.
Mexikóban június 2-án tartanak elnökválasztást, valamint országos és helyhatósági választásokat.

Az ellenzék vasárnap tömegtüntetéssel indította választási kampányát Indiában, amelyben bírálják Narendra Modi jelenlegi miniszterelnök kormányát, valamint egy ismert ellenzéki politikus őrizetbe vételét. Modi szerint az ellenzék vezetése korrupcióellenes fellépése miatt támadja őt.
A nagyszabású rendőri jelenléttel biztosított, Újdelhiben rendezett ellenzéki megmozduláson egybehangzó közlések szerint ezrek vettek részt.
„El kell döntenetek, hogy demokráciát vagy diktatúrát akartok” – hangoztatta Mallikardzsun Harge, a Kongresszus Párt elnöke.
„Ez egy harc a Bháratíja Dzsanatá Párt (BJP) korrupciója ellen, az indiai alkotmányosságért” – tette hozzá az ellenzéki vezető, akit a The Hindu című helyi lap idézett.
A tüntetés egyik fő témája Arvind Kedzsrivál, Delhi régió miniszterelnökének őrizetbe vétele volt. Az ellenzéki politikust a pénzügyi szabálytalanságok feltárásával foglalkozó hatóság azzal vádolja, hogy figyelmen kívül hagyta az eddigi bírósági meghallgatásra szóló idézéseket egy korrupciós ügyben. A delhi miniszterelnök elfogása miatt az utóbbi napokban több tüntetés is volt az országban.
Arvind Kedzsrivál azt hangoztatja, hogy Narendra Modi Bháratíja Dzsanatá Pártja (BJP) eszközként használja a hatóságokat, hogy felléphessen az ellenzékkel szemben. Kedzsrivál pártja, az Aam Aadmi Párt (Átlagemberek pártja) tagja az INDIA (Indiai Nemzeti Fejlesztési Átfogó Szövetség) nevű ellenzéki összefogásnak, amely a BJP kihívójaként lép fel a közelgő parlamenti választáson.
A legutóbbi felmérések szerint a BJP-nek van nagyobb esélye megnyerni a választást.
A világ legnépesebb országában hét szakaszban tartják a választásokat, a különböző államokban különböző időpontokban voksolnak hat héten át. A szavazás április 19-én indul, az eredményt a tervek szerint június 4-én jelentik be.
A Kongresszus Párt India legnagyobb ellenzéki ereje. Harge azonban nemrég arról beszélt, hogy pártja nem tud érdemben kampányolni, miután az adóhatóság szabálytalanságokra hivatkozva befagyasztotta a bankszámláit.
Modi saját kampányát az Újdelhitől nagyjából 100 kilométerre északra található Mirát városában indította. A kormányfő szerint az ellenzék vezetése korrupcióellenes fellépése miatt neheztel rá.

Kórházba szállítása után belehalt sérüléseibe Abe Sindzó volt japán miniszterelnök, miután egy pénteki kampányrendezvényen többször rálőttek.
A politikus ellen pénteken követtek el merényletet egy választási kampányesemény közben Nara városában. Azonnal kórházba szállították, ahol később belehalt súlyos sérüléseibe.
Abé Sindzó korábbi japán miniszterelnök egy rendezvényen vett részt éppen, amikor hátulról lövés érte. A helyi média a korábban kormányzó Liberális Demokrata Pártra hivatkozva arról számolt be, hogy Abe a támadás után eszméletlen volt és a nyakán vérzett.
A Kyodo japán hírügynökség beszámolója szerint a súlyosan sérült volt államfőt helikopterrel kórházba szállították. A rendőrség őrizetbe vett egy 40 év körüli férfit, a feltételezett elkövetőt, a hatóságok pedig lefoglaltak egy házi készítésű fegyvert is.
Abe Sindzó 1954-ben született Tokióban, igazi politikai dinasztia sarjaként, nem véletlen, hogy ő is erre a pályára lépett.
2006-ban a kormányzó Liberális Demokrata Párt elnökévé választották, szeptember 26-án pedig beiktatták japán miniszterelnökké.
Egy évvel később lemondott tisztségéről, 2012-ben azonban újra miniszterelnökké választották, tisztségét pedig egészen 2020-ig betöltötte, amikor is egészségügyi okokból lemondásra kényszerült. Ezzel ő vált Japán leghosszabb ideig hivatalban lévő miniszterelnökévé.
Egészségügyi problémái ellenére továbbra is aktívan politizált. A merénylet időpontjában is egy kampányrendezvényen vett részt. Abe Kei Satō tanácsos, a Liberális Demokrata Párt újraválasztásáért induló jelöltje nevében mondott beszédet a vasárnap esedékes felsőházi választások előtt.

Nicolas Sarkozy volt francia államfőre (2007–2012) hat hónap letöltendő és hat hónap felfüggesztett börtönbüntetést kért csütörtökön az ügyészség a 2012-es elnökválasztási kampánya törvénytelen finanszírozása miatt.
A vádhatóság szerint Nicolas Sarkozy kampányának finanszírozását „teljes lazaság” jellemezte, a stáb a törvényben engedélyezettnek több mint a dupláját költötte el, majd a túlköltekezést a jobbközép párt kettős könyveléssel próbálta meg elrejteni az illetékes hatóságok elől.
Az egy év börtönbüntetésen kívül 3750 eurós pénzbüntetés kiszabását is kérte az ügyészség Nicolas Sarkozy ellen, a többi vádlott ellen másféltől négy évig terjedő szabadságvesztést indítványoztak az ügyészek.
A vádhatóság azzal gyanúsítja Nicolas Sarkozyt, hogy a kampányszámlákért felelős könyvvizsgáló többszöri figyelmeztetése ellenére hagyta, hogy a kampánystáb a megengedettél többet költsön el a nagygyűléseire.
Az ügyben 2014 márciusában kezdődött vizsgálat, miután a könyvvizsgáló, Jérome Lavrilleux egy interjúban elismerte: Nicolas Sarkozy kampányának akkora már bizonyított túlköltekezését a nagygyűléseket szervező kommunikációs cég, a Bygmalion hamis számláival és kettős könyveléssel próbálta meg fedezni a párt.
Az ügyben először 13 ember ellen emeltek vádat a hamis számlázásban való részvétel gyanúja miatt, valamennyien a kampány, a párt vagy a kommunikációs cég vezetői voltak. A volt elnök ellen 2016-ban indult eljárás az ügyben, de őt csak a túlköltekezéssel gyanúsítják, arra az ügyészség szerint nincs bizonyíték, hogy a hamis számlázásra ő adott utasítást.
Nicolas Sarkozyt kedden hallgatta meg a bíróság. A volt elnök elismerte a politikai felelősségét a túlköltekezésben, de tagadta, hogy szándékos csalás történt, és azt állította, hogy a kampány idején nem ismerte a Bygmalion céget, miután az államfőség mellett és a G20-országcsoport elnöki tisztét is betöltötte 2012-ben, a nagygyűléseket nem ő maga, hanem a stábja szervezte.
A vádirat arra emlékeztet, hogy Nicolas Sarkozy volt a hamis számlázás haszonélvezője, az ugyanis számára lehetővé tette, hogy a törvényben megengedettnél jóval jelentősebb anyagi forrással rendelkezzen. Míg a volt államfő 44 nagygyűlést tartott a 2012-es kampányban, a választás győztese, a szocialista Francois Hollande csak tízet engedhetett meg magának.
A kettős könyvelésért felelős párttagokat hamisítással, csalással, illegális kampányfinanszírozással és ezen ügyekben létrejött bűnszövetkezettel vádolják.
A csalást a többi vádlott közül csak a könyvvizsgáló ismerte el, ellene három év felfüggesztett börtönbüntetés és 50 ezer eurós pénzbüntetés kiszabását kérte az ügyészség. A Bygmalion három volt vezetője ellen – akik annyit elismertek, hogy Sarkozy pártjának kérésére hamis számlákkal fedezték a túlköltekezést – másfél éves felfüggesztett szabadságvesztés kiszabását indítványozta az ügyészség. Ítélethirdetés szeptemberben várható.
Nicolas Sarkozyt március 1-én nem jogerősen egy év letöltendő és két év felfüggesztett szabadságvesztésre ítélték, amiért információkért cserébe megpróbált megvesztegetni egy magas rangú bírót, de miután a volt államfő fellebbezett az ítélet ellen, az ellene folyó többi eljárásban szabadlábon védekezhet.

Az Ukrán Biztonsági Szolgálat (SZBU) több házkutatást is végzett a BRSZM-Nafta vállalat üzemanyag-feltöltő állomásainál.
A szolgálat sajtóközpontjának közleménye szerint az eljárásnak nincs köze a Bihusz-ügyhöz, a pontos részleteket később közlik majd.
Ami a Bihusz ügyet illeti, nemrégiben néhány újságíró egy program keretein belül állítólag kiderítette, hogy az említett benzinkutak bevételéből a Sarij párt politikai projektet finanszírozzák, melynek vezetője nem más, mint Anatolij Sarij oroszbarát blogger.
