A szállodáról készült végleges jelentés elkészülte után döntenek arról, hogy megerősítik-e az épületet, vagy lebontják.

Törökország egyik üdülőhelyén hatalmas tűz keletkezett, amelynek következtében többen is életüket vesztették. A pusztító tűz január 21-én csapott le a Grand Kartal szállodára a Kartalkaya síközpontban.
A tűz következtében a Bolu tartományban található üdülőhelyen több sérült és halálos áldozat is van. A január 22-i adatok szerint 76 halottról és 51 sérültről tudni. A tűzesettel kapcsolatban 9 embert őrizetbe vettek. A szálloda súlyosan megsérült a tűzben.
A közösségi médiában azt írják, hogy hanyagság okozhatta a tüzet. Azzal vádolják a szállodát, hogy a tűzjelző rendszer nem működött, és nem voltak megfelelő tűzoltó rendszerek, sőt, menekülési lépcsők sem. A tűz széles területen terjedt el, ezért a tűzeset igazán nagy kiterjedésűvé vált.
Ezen felül a központban nem volt tűzoltóság, így a tűzoltók nem tudtak azonnal a helyszínre érkezni.

A török síparadicsomban történt tűzvész következtében a halottak száma 66-ra emelkedett.
Erről január 21-én, kedden számolt be az Anadolu hírügynökség.
Ali Yerlikaya belügyminiszter megerősítette, hogy a tűz áldozatainak száma 66-ra nőtt, és 51 személy sérült meg.
A tűzeset kivizsgálását Bolu tartomány ügyészsége végzi, ahol a síparadicsom található.
A turisták elmondása szerint a szállodában a tűzjelző rendszer nem működött. A vendégek egész végig nem gyanították a veszélyt, miközben a folyosókon és a lépcsőkön már sűrű, maró füst terjedt szét.

Legkevesebb tíz ember életét vesztette, és 32-en megsérültek, amikor tűz keletkezett egy síparadicsomban Törökország északkeleti részén – jelentette be Ali Yerlikaya török belügyminiszter kedden reggel.
A Bolu tartományban található kartalkayai üdülőhelyen a szálloda éttermében csaptak fel a lángok – tudatta a miniszter. Abdulaziz Aydin, a tartomány kormányzója arról számolt be, hogy ketten azért vesztették életüket, mert pánikba estek és kiugrottak az épületből. Az NTV tévécsatorna szerint többen összekötözött lepedőkön próbáltak lemászni szobájukból. Az épületben 234 ember volt a tűz idején – számolt be az MTI.
A szerencsétlenség oka egyelőre nem ismert.
Az Isztambultól mintegy 300 kilométerre keletre, A Köroglu-hegységben található Kartalkaya népszerű a turisták körében, és Törökországban ilyenkor iskolai szünet van, ezért a szállodák teljesen megtelnek.
