Több ezer ember tüntetett Madrid belvárosában szombaton az úgynevezett amnesztiatörvény miatt, amely a szeparatista katalán politikusok és aktivisták számára közkegyelmet biztosítana.
Az amnesztiatörvény miatt már többször tüntettek idén az országban, mert a spanyol konzervatív Néppárt (PP), a jobboldali Vox párt és a Szocialista Párt egyes csoportjai elutasítják azt.
„Ami a Voxot illeti, nem lesz fegyverszünet vagy béke ezzel a kormánnyal” – mondta Santiago Abascal, a VOX párt elnöke a szombati madridi tüntetésen, ahol a demonstrálók hazafias dalokat énekeltek, és a nemzet zászlaját lengették.
Az Együtt Katalóniáért (Junts per Catalunya) párt hetek óta tárgyal a koalícióban kormányzó Spanyol Szocialista Munkáspárttal (PSOE) egy amnesztiatörvényről, amely megszüntetné „a büntetőjogi, közigazgatási és számviteli felelősségét” azoknak, akik közreműködtek a katalán függetlenségi törekvések előmozdításában a 2012 és 2023 közötti időszakban.

Több tízezren vonultak utcára vasárnap Madridban, tiltakozva a katalán függetlenségi pártok amnesztiakövetelése ellen a spanyol konzervatív Néppárt (PP) által szervezett megmozduláson.
Alberto Núnez-Feijóo pártelnök a demonstráción alkotmányellenesnek nevezte, hogy a korábban elítélt katalán szeparatisták amnesztiát kaphassanak.
A július végén megtartott spanyol parlamenti választásokon a szavazók „nem az alkotmányos rend megváltoztatására voksoltak” – jelentette ki.
A spanyol parlament két katalán nacionalista pártja ugyanis a 2017-ben alkotmányellenesen megtartott katalán függetlenségi népszavazás megrendezése miatt elítélt vezetők rehabilitálását szabta feltételül ahhoz, hogy képviselői akár csak tartózkodással közreműködjenek az új spanyol kormány megalakulásában.
A madridi demonstráció két nappal azelőtt történt, hogy a júliusi választásokon győztes PP miniszterelnök-jelölti programjának vitáját megkezdi a spanyol parlament alsóháza.
Alberto Núnez-Feijóo a miniszterelnökké választásához szükséges 176 támogató szavazatból 172-vel rendelkezik a törvényhozásban. A hiányzó négy képviselői szavazatot az elmúlt hetekben sem sikerült megszereznie.
Amennyiben a vita után tartandó szerdai szavazáson nem kapja meg az abszolút többség támogatását, és két nappal később a második kör sem lesz eredményes, akkor az uralkodó újabb miniszterelnök-jelöltet kérhet fel.
Pedro Sánchez ügyvivő kormányfő, a választásokon másodikként végzett Spanyol Szocialista Munkáspárt (PSOE) főtitkára már jelezte kormányalakítási szándékát.
Alberto Núnez-Feijóo bírálta a szocialista vezetőt, és megkérdőjelezte „erkölcsi és politikai tartását”, amiért a nacionalista pártok támogatását keresi, hogy újból kormányfő lehessen.
A katalán nemzeti ünnepen a rendőrség tájékoztatása szerint 115 ezren, míg a szervezők szerint 800 ezren vonultak utcára hétfőn Barcelonában, követelve az elszakadást Spanyolországtól.
„Azért vagyunk itt, hogy világossá tegyük a spanyol állam számára: még semmi sem fejeződött be, és nem is ér véget addig, amíg nem leszünk függetlenek” – jelentette ki Dolors Feliu, az esemény főszervezőjének számító Katalán Nemzetgyűlés (ANC) nevű civil politikai szervezet elnöke beszédében.
A jelenlegi katalán vezetőkre utalva hangsúlyozta: ha nem tudják, miként érjék el Katalónia függetlenségét, inkább engedjenek utat másoknak, és írjanak ki választásokat a régióban.
Szólt arról, hogy a júliusi, spanyolországi általános választások után kialakult politikai helyzetben a katalán függetlenségi pártok támogatására is szükség van a kormányalakításhoz.
Felszólította a katalán tartományi kormányt alkotó két pártot, a Katalán Köztársasági Baloldalt (ERC) és az Együtt Katalóniáért (Junts) formációkat, hogy a támogatásért cserébe követeljék a 2017. október elsején megrendezett és alkotmányellenesnek nyilvánított függetlenségi népszavazás eredményének legitimálását.
Az akkor elfogadott, de felfüggesztett függetlenségi nyilatkozatot pedig nyilvánítsa érvényesnek a katalán parlament – tette hozzá.
„Minden madridi megállapodásnak csak akkor van értelme, ha közvetlen hatással bír Katalónia függetlenségének kivívására” – jelentette ki.
A tüntető tömeg katalán függetlenségi zászlókat lobogtatva, transzparenseket tartva vonult fel a Barcelona egyik központi terének számító Plaza de Espanyán. A függetlenséget követelő feliratok sokasága mellett megjelentek az aktuális katalán szeparatista kormányt bíráló táblák is, például, „Aragonés, nem csinálsz semmit!”, vagy „Lemondás!” feliratokkal.
Kapucnis fiatalok egy csoportja elégette Pere Aragonés katalán elnök és Jaume Collboni, Barcelona új, szocialista polgármesterének képét.

A kora reggeli kitelepítés a Portbou városától és a francia határtól nem messze délre fekvő tengerparti Garbet térségében működő kempinget is érintette a helyi tűzoltóság és polgári katasztrófavédelem tájékoztatása alapján.
Az erdőtűz még pénteken keletkezett, és szombat reggelre mintegy kétszáz hektáros, azaz mintegy 280 futballpályányi területet perzselt fel helyi tisztségviselők szerint.
Szombaton mintegy négyezer ember maradt áramszolgáltatás nélkül a katalán polgári katasztrófavédelem szerint. A Figueres és Portbau közötti vasúti közlekedést ideiglenesen felfüggesztették.
A helyszínen 66 spanyol tűzoltó dolgozott az erdőtűz megfékezésén, akiknek a munkáját tíz francia kollégájuk segítette. A hegyes-sziklás terep és az erős szél miatt nem volt könnyű megfékezni a lángokat a katalán hatóságok szerint.

Tavaly ellopott Salvador Dalí-rajzokat találtak meg a hatóságok, a műkincstolvajokat letartóztatták – közölte a most lezárult nyomozás részleteit a katalán rendőrség pénteken Barcelonában.
A tájékoztatás szerint a tavaly januárban, egy magánlakásból ellopott két szénrajzot 1922-ben készítette az akkor 19 éves művész, apja egyik barátja, a politikus Pere Coromines készülő könyvének illusztrációiként. A mű végül sosem jelent meg, de a képek a megrendelő családjának birtokában maradtak.
A rajzok a betörés után fél évvel egy raktárból kerültek elő, ahol eredeti kereteikben, pokrócba csavarva találták meg őket.
A nyomozók akkor bukkantak az eltűnt képek nyomára, mikor megpróbálták őket értékesíteni a feketepiacon. A rendőrséggel egy orgazda lépett kapcsolatba, aki nyomravezetői díjat akart kicsikarni a családtól az információ fejében. Végül őt is elfogták a rendőrök, csakúgy, mint a három tolvajt és egy másik orgazdát.
A raktárhelyiségben öt másik, Joan Miró katalán festőnek tulajdonított grafikát is találtak, ám ezek hitelesítése még nem zárult le.
Ékszerek, luxusórák, értékes bankjegyek és érmék is előkerültek ugyanonnan.
A rendőrség összesen hét betöréssel gyanúsítja az 55, 53 és 50 éves tolvajokat, aki testvérek, és kifejezetten műalkotások, régiségek eltulajdonítására szakosodtak Barcelona előkelő városrészeiben.
A városi rendőrség szerint mintegy 150 ezren, a szervező Katalán Nemzetgyűlés (ANC) nevű politikai civil szervezet szerint 700 ezren tüntettek Katalónia függetlenségéért Barcelonában a katalán nemzeti ünnepen vasárnap.
A tüntetés négy és fél kilométeres útvonalát ellepte a zászlókat, transzparenseket magasba tartó tömeg, noha létszámuk elmaradt a járvány előtti évek demonstrációitól. Az előző évektől eltérően most nem voltak látványos és figyelemfelkeltő performanszok sem.
„Politikusok nélkül már függetlenek lennénk!”, „Árulókat sem itt, sem Madridban”, „Kormány, egyoldalú függetlenségi nyilatkozat vagy lemondás?” – üzenték az utcára vonult tüntetők, így kifejezve elégedetlenségüket az autonóm tartomány vezetése felé, míg korábban a legtöbb kritika a spanyol államot érte a nemzeti ünnepi felvonuláson.
A tüntetést szervező mozgalommal fennálló véleménykülönbség miatt sem Pere Aragonés katalán elnök, sem pártja, a Katalán Köztársasági Baloldal (ERC) politikusai nem vettek részt az eseményen, amelyre még nem volt példa az elmúlt tíz évben.
„A hamis párbeszédek nem tévesztenek meg senkit” – mondta a Dolors Feliu, az ANC elnöke a felvonulás végén tartott beszédében, a spanyol és katalán kormány között évek óta tartó, de eddig eredménytelen tárgyalásokra utalva.
„Az intézményeknek a függetlenség eszközének kell lenniük” – hangsúlyozta és kijelentette: Katalónia vezetése vagy megvalósítja függetlenedést Spanyolországtól, vagy írjon ki előrehozott választásokat.
Pere Aragonés a tüntetés előtt tartott pártrendezvényen arról beszélt, hogy a függetlenségi mozgalomnak befogadónak kell lennie, nem szabad kizárnia senkit. Katalónia elszakadásához ugyanis el kell érni egy „legyőzhetetlen többséget”.
„Meggyőződését és elkötelezettségét” fejezte ki amellett, hogy Katalónia szabadon, népszavazáson fog dönteni jövőjéről, hozzátéve, hogy ezen dolgoznak a rendelkezésükre álló eszközökkel.
A katalán vélemény-tanulmányi központ (CEO) legutóbbi, nyár közepén közzétett felmérése szerint Katalónia önállósodását Spanyolországtól a lakosság 41 százaléka támogatja, míg 52 százalék ellenzi a független állam létrehozását.
