Az ukrán hadsereg megerősítette, hogy vasárnapra virradó éjjel lőszerrobbanás történt egy vonaton Kijev megyében, a vasúti forgalmat leállították – számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál az ukrán fegyveres erők kommunikációs főosztályának közleményére hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint „szeptember 13-án 23:30 óra után lőszerrobbanás történt egy katonai rakományt szállító vonaton Kijev megyében.” Személyi sérülés nem történt. A vasúti pályán leállították a forgalmat, három kocsit lekapcsoltak a szerelvényről.
A katasztrófavédelem a helyszínen dolgozik. A pirotechnikai szolgálat szemlét tart a területen. A robbanás okát vizsgálat és hatósági ellenőrzés fogja megállapítani.
A vasárnapra virradóra kialakult vészhelyzet következtében megrongálódott a vasúti infrastruktúra. Mikola Kalasnyik, a Kijev Megyei Katonai Adminisztráció vezetője arról számolt be, hogy a régióban történt robbanások nem ellenséges légitámadáshoz kapcsolódtak.
A vészhelyzet miatt számos vonatjárat útvonala megváltozott, és késések vannak. A Harkiv–Przemysl vonat utasainak egy részét busszal vitték Kijevbe, a többieket pedig vonattal, de módosított útvonalon folytatták az útjukat. Három nőt láttak el az orvosok akut stresszreakció miatt.
