Az orosz megszállók csütörtökön egy kávézót és egy üzletet támadtak rakétával a Kupjanszkhoz közeli Hroza községben, ahol épp halotti tort tartottak – közölte Ihor Klimenko belügyminiszter az ukrán televízió non-stop háborús adásában, számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint Klimenko elmondta: „Egy bolt volt, egy kávézó mellett. Helyi lakosok voltak az üzletben, helyiek voltak a kávézóban is, ahol egy helyi lakos halotti torát ülték. Összesen körülbelül 60 személy volt a helyiségben. 49 ember meghalt, köztük egy 6 éves kislány.”
A belügyminiszter elmondása szerint hét ember súlyosan megsebesült, jelenleg műtőasztalon vannak. Hozzátette, hogy a hatóságoknak már 29 holttestet sikerült azonosítaniuk, a többi holttestet Harkivba küldték szakértői intézményekbe.
A tárcavezető kifejtette: egyelőre nem tudni, mi volt a támadás oka. Lehetett rakéta vagy légibomba, de a típust a szakértők állapítják meg. „Annyira precíz volt a csapás, és ez egy kis helyiség, hogy ilyen pontosan eltalálják. Ezért az Ukrán Biztonsági Szolgálat (SZBU) és a rendőrség gyanúja szerint helybéli működhetett közre. Mindenképpen ellenőrizni fogjuk ezt a lehetőséget” – mutatott rá Ihor Klimenko.

A hírt a fővárosi rendőrség kommunikációs osztálya közölte. Az információk szerint az eset során senki nem sérült meg.
„A tettes elmondta, hogy nem tetszett a kiszolgálás a kávézóban, ezért úgy döntött, bosszút áll: kitörte az ablakot, gyúlékony anyagot locsolt szét a helyiségben és meggyújtotta azt” – közölték a hatóságok.
Az ügyben folyik a nyomozás, a büntetett előéletű 35 éves kijevi lakost letartóztatták.
