Gyors beavatkozásuknak köszönhetően sikerült megakadályozniuk a tűz továbbterjedését a huszti tűzoltóknak, akik egy lakóházhoz vonultak ki a városban. A tűzeset június 24-én a kora reggeli órákban történt.
A ház tulajdonosa furcsa zajokra ébredt, amelyeket először jégesőnek vélt. Nem sokkal később azonban füstszagot érzett, és értesítette a mentőszolgálatot. Bár megpróbálta saját maga megfékezni a lángokat, erőfeszítései nem jártak sikerrel.
A helyszínre érkező tűzoltók megállapították, hogy a tűz a konyhában keletkezett. Az előzetes vizsgálatok szerint a tüzet valószínűleg elektromos zárlat okozta. A lángokat 40 négyzetméteres területen sikerült körülhatárolni, majd rövid időn belül teljesen eloltani.
A tűz megrongálta az épület födémszerkezetének egy részét és jelentős károkat okozott a berendezési tárgyakban. A tűzoltók ugyanakkor megakadályozták, hogy a lángok átterjedjenek a közeli garázsra és a szomszédos lakóházra, így még a nagyobb károkat sikerült elkerülni.

Tűz keletkezett egy családi házban Munkácson, a tulajdonosok gyanús zajt hallottak, majd lángokat észleltek az épület homlokzatán. A lakók azonnal értesítették a 101-es segélyhívót, és megpróbálták maguk megfékezni a tüzet, azonban a lángok gyorsan terjedni kezdtek.
A tűz a ház faszerkezetére és tetőszerkezetére is átterjedt, így a helyzet rövid idő alatt súlyossá vált. A helyszínre a munkácsi 9. számú állami tűzoltó- és mentőegység vonult ki a lángok megfékezésére.
A tűzoltóknak sikerült lokalizálniuk a tüzet, majd teljesen eloltották a lángokat, megakadályozva a további terjedést az épület más részeire.
A tűz következtében mintegy 50 négyzetméteren megrongálódott a tető, a fa födémszerkezet és a homlokzat. Személyi sérülésről nem érkezett jelentés, az anyagi károk mértékét és a tűz keletkezésének okát szakértők vizsgálják.

Június 13-án délután tűz ütött ki egy üzletben Ökörmezőn. A lángokról a helyi lakosok értesítették a katasztrófavédelmet.
A tűz egy kétszintes épületben keletkezett, majd a sűrű beépítés miatt átterjedt a szomszédos, félkész épületre is. A dolgozók és a környékbeliek a mentők érkezése előtt megpróbálták megfékezni a lángokat, valamint kimenteni az üzletből néhány értéket.
A tűz oltásában 24 tűzoltó és hat speciális jármű vett részt. A nagy füst miatt a lánglovagok légzésvédő felszerelésben dolgoztak.
A tűzoltóknak 16:40-re sikerült körülhatárolniuk a tüzet mintegy 600 négyzetméteres területen, majd 18:09-re teljesen eloltották. A beavatkozással sikerült megakadályozni, hogy a lángok a környező üzletekre is átterjedjenek.
A tűzesetben az üzlet tulajdonosa megsérült, akit kórházba szállítottak. A tűz keletkezésének okát vizsgálják.

Tűz ütött ki június 11-én egy lakóházban Csapon. A katasztrófavédelemhez 12:16-kor érkezett bejelentés a lángokról.
A ház tulajdonosa ekkor az udvar egy másik épületében tartózkodott. A szomszédok kiabálására lett figyelmes, majd az udvarra sietve sűrű füstöt látott a házból. A lakók megpróbálták saját erőből megfékezni a tüzet, de nem jártak sikerrel.
A helyszínre a csapi és nagydobronyi tűzoltóegységek érkeztek. A tűz forrását a konyhában találták meg.
A lángokat 12:38-ra sikerült körülhatárolni, majd 12:53-ra teljesen eloltották. A tűz mintegy 80 négyzetméteren okozott károkat: megrongálódott az épület első és második szintje, valamint több háztartási berendezés is.
A gyors beavatkozásnak köszönhetően a tűz nem terjedt át a tetőtérre.

A tűzoltók egy hotelben keletkezett tüzet oltottak a huszti járási Izki faluban.
Április 30-án 16:19-kor érkezett bejelentés a katasztrófavédelemhez arról, hogy tűz ütött ki egy faépítésű szállodában az egyik üdülőkomplexum területén, Izki településen.
A tűz oltásában 42 tűzoltó és 9 technikai egység vett részt a 3. állami tűzoltó- és mentőegységtől. A lángok gyorsan terjedtek az épület fa szerkezetein, amit az erős szél is elősegített.
19:10-re a tüzet mintegy 1000 négyzetméteres területen lokalizálták. Az oltási munkálatok ezt követően is folytatódtak.

Január 5-én éjfélkor riasztást kaptak a tűzoltók Beregszászról, miszerint kigyulladt egy, a Szőlő utcában található lakóház. Az előzetes információk szerint a lakók begyújtották a kandallót, majd elmentek tévét nézni. Később ropogást hallottak és füstszagot éreztek a padlás felől. Amikor rájöttek, hogy tűz keletkezett, értesítették a tűzoltókat, és próbálták saját erejükből visszatartani a lángokat, de sikertelenül.
A helyszínre a beregszászi 17. állami tűzoltó-mentő egység vonult ki. A tüzet előbb lokalizálták 45 négyzetméteren, majd 01:23-ra teljesen eloltották.
A tűz következtében 45 négyzetméternyi födém semmisült meg, de a tűzoltóknak sikerült megakadályozniuk a teljes lakóház leégését.
A tűz okát és a keletkezett kár mértékét az illetékes hatóságok vizsgálják.

December 28-án 20:18-kor érkezett bejelentés a Rendkívüli Helyzetek Állami Szolgálatához (DSZNSZ) egy étterem kigyulladásáról a Beregszászi járásban, Kaszonyban, a Barabás utcában. A tűzesetről a helyi lakosok értesítették a mentőszolgálatot.
A helyszínre riasztották a beregszászi és csapi állami tűzoltóságot, a nagydobronyi tűzoltókat és a derceni önkéntes egységet.
A tüzet 22:00 órára sikerült lokalizálni, majd 22:20-kor teljes mértékben eloltották, mintegy 250 négyzetméteres területen. A tűz következtében megsemmisült az épület tetőszerkezete, és megrongálódott az ingatlanban található berendezés és egyéb vagyontárgyak.
A tűzoltóknak sikerült megakadályozniuk a lángok továbbterjedését, és megmenteniük az épületet a teljes pusztulástól.
A tűz keletkezésének oka, valamint az okozott kár mértéke jelenleg kivizsgálás alatt áll.

Tizenhatan vesztették életüket egy idősek otthonában keletkezett tűzben az indonéziai Sulawesi (Celebesz) szigetén, amelyet a hatóságok szerint elektromos hiba okozott. A lángokat hat tűzoltóautó bevetésével több mint két óra alatt sikerült megfékezni, miután a helyi lakosok riasztották a mentőegységeket – közölték hétfőn az illetékesek – számolt be az MTI.
A Manado városban található egyszintes házban akkor keletkezett tűz, amikor a lakók aludtak. Alamsyah Hasibuan, az észak-sulawesi rendőrség szóvivője elmondta, hogy tizenhatan haltak meg és tizenöt túlélő van, akiket Manado két kórházában ápolnak.
A hatóságok közlése szerint a tűzoltóknak hat tűzoltóautóval több mint két órába telt, mire eloltották a lángokat, a mentőket a környékbeli lakosok riasztották.
A rendőrség első jelentése szerint a tüzet elektromos hiba okozta, de a hatóságok később közölték, hogy a kiváltó okot még vizsgálják.
