Megszakította a japán űrügynökség az Epsilon S típusú rakéta hajtóművének tesztelését azt követően, hogy tűz ütött ki a tesztüzemben.
Az NHK közszolgálati televízió is felvételeket közölt arról, hogy a szigetország délnyugati részén található Tanegasima űrközpontban nem sokkal a földi égésteszt kezdete után robbanást lehetett hallani és lángok csaptak fel. A Japán Űrkutatási Hivatal (JAXA) szerint ez a hajtómű indítása után 49 másodperccel történt.
A hatóság közölte azt is, hogy nem volt jele emberi sérülésnek vagy a külső létesítményben keletkezett kárnak.
„A JAXA alaposan kivizsgálja a probléma okát, és megfontolja a szükséges intézkedéseket” – mondta Hajasi Josimasza kormányszóvivő, hozzátéve: a rakétafejlesztés „rendkívül fontos” a japán űrprogram önállóságának biztosítása érdekében.
Az incidens miatt a rakéta első indítását március utáni időpontra tolhatják, ami további késedelmeket okozhat a nemzeti űrprogramban. A JAXA a nehézgépgyártó IHI Aerospace repülőgépipari egységével együttműködve fejlesztette ki az Epsilon S típusú hajtóművet, a szilárd hajtóanyagú rakéták következő generációhoz. Az IHI részvényei 7 százalékkal estek a tokiói tőzsdén az esetet követően.
Nem először van gond az Epsilon S hajtóművével: a mostani tesztet hónapokig tartó vizsgálat előzte meg, mert egy tavaly júliusi próbaindítás során a keletkező hő károkat okozott az indítórendszerben.

„Észak-Korea adatokat küldött Oroszországnak a két korábbi, sikertelen műhold-felbocsátáskor használt hordozórakétákról, Moszkva pedig felajánlotta az adatok elemzését” – közölte Yoo Sang-bum, a parlamenti hírszerzési bizottság tagja a kémügynökség tájékoztatója után.
„Az indítás sikeres volt, a műhold Föld körüli pályára állt. Észak-Korea jövőre további műholdakat indíthat és nukleáris kísérleteket végezhet” – mondta Youn Kun-young, a bizottság másik tagja.
Észak-Korea legutóbb 2017-ben végzett nukleáris kísérleteket. Mint a minap az Indexen megírtuk, Észak-Korea szerdán ballisztikus rakétát indított a Japán-tenger irányába, de a Yonhap dél-koreai hírügynökség szerint az indítás feltehetően sikertelen volt.

rakétát lőtt ki az ország keleti partjáról a Japán-tenger
irányába.
A KCNA hétfőn megerősítette a fegyverkísérletet, jelentése
szerint a hadsereg egy új, „szupernagy” rakéta-sorozatvetőt
tesztelt. Más részletek nem szerepelnek benne.
A dél-koreai hadsereg vezérkarának szóvivője hétfőn
közölte, hogy az újnak mondott szupernagy, irányítható
rakéta-sorozatvető hasonló ahhoz, amelyet Észak-Korea már tavaly
augusztusban tesztelt. Kim Dzsun Rak hozzátette, tanulmányozzák az
észak-koreai média által közzétett felvételeket a
fegyverkísérletről. Ezeken az látszik, hogy hat indítócsőből
álló sorozatvetőből lőnek ki egy rakétát, míg a tavalyi
augusztusban bemutatott rendszer négy ilyen rakétát tudott kilőni.
A rakéták műszaki jellemzői azonban szemlátomást ugyanolyanok.
Szöuli jelentések szerint a Vonszan mellől kilőtt két rakéta
mintegy 230 kilométert tett meg, 30 kilométeres maximális
magasságba emelkedett, és a Japán-tengerbe csapódott.
Ez volt a negyedik rakétakísérlet, amelyet a világtól
elszigetelődött kommunista ország egy hónap leforgása alatt
végrehajtott. Phenjan március 2-án, 9-én és 21-én is tesztelt
rakétákat.
Észak-Korea tavaly 13 alkalommal végzett kísérleti rakétaindítást, miközben a nukleáris fegyvereinek leszereléséről az Egyesült Államokkal folytatott tárgyalásai megrekedtek.
