Külföldi turistákat szállító kisrepülőgép zuhant le kedd reggel Kenya partvidékén, Kwale megyében. A hatóságok szerint félő, hogy a fedélzeten tartózkodó 12 ember, akik közül nyolc magyar állampolgár volt, senki sem élte túl a katasztrófát.
A Cessna Caravan típusú repülőgép az ukundai Diani repülőtérről indult a turisták körében népszerű Maasai Mara nemzeti parkhoz, de a felszállás után röviddel – a repülőtértől mintegy 40 kilométerre, egy erdős területen – lezuhant és kigyulladt.
A kenyai polgári légiközlekedési hatóság közölte, hogy a repülő fedélzetén 12 ember volt, közülük nyolcan magyar állampolgárok, ketten németek voltak, és velük tartott egy kétfős kenyai személyzet is.
Hozzátették, hogy vizsgálatot indítottak a baleset okainak feltárására.
A hatóságok tájékoztatása szerint a repülőgép néhány perccel a felszállás után a földnek csapódott, majd lángba borult, a helyszínen csak a kiégett roncsokat találtak.
Szemtanúi beszámolók szerint a helyszínen egy óriási robbanás hallatszott, és a repülőhöz érve már felismerhetetlenségig megégett emberi maradványokat találtak.
A Maasai Mara nemzeti park népszerű turisztikai célpont, ahol minden évben megfigyelhető a tanzániai Serengeti nemzeti parkból elinduló gnúk vándorlása.

A Románok Egyesüléséért Szövetség (AUR) párt egyik önkormányzati képviselője, Marian Jan Chirita vezette azt a kisrepülőgépet, amely lezuhant szombaton Jászvásár közelében.
Lezuhant egy kisrepülőgép Jászvásár közelében szombat délután, két férfi sérült meg, egyikük súlyos koponya- és égési sérüléseket szenvedett. A gépet az AUR egyik önkormányzati képviselője, Marian Jan Chirita vezette. A baleset egy erdős katonai területen történt, tűz keletkezett, de katonai létesítményeket nem érintett. A hivatalos vizsgálat szerint a tragédia műszaki hiba miatt következhetett be – számolt be az erdélyi Krónika hírportál.
A lasi megyei katasztrófavédelmi felügyelőség szóvivője, Georgica Onofreiasa elmondta, hogy a kiérkező mentők két embert láttak el a helyszínen, akik eszméletüknél voltak, a sérülteket kórházba vitték.
Egy 55 és egy 51 éves férfi sérült meg a balesetben.
Egyikük koponyasérülést, harmad- és negyedfokú, valamint másod- és harmadfokú égési sérüléseket szenvedett a mellkasán, a hasán és a lábán, míg másikuk mellkasi-hasi zúzódásokat.
Mivel a gép katonai területre zuhant, a román hadsereg is közleményt adott ki az esettel kapcsolatban. Közleményük szerint a gép egy erdős területen zuhant le, és tüzet is okozott a térségben, de nem okozott sérüléseket katonai épületekben vagy infrastruktúrában.
Este az AUR megyei vezetője megerősítette, hogy a gépet valóban a párt egyik önkormányzati képviselője vezette, egészen pontosan Marian Jan Chirita, aki tapasztalt pilótának számít, hetente többször repül, és a gép is az ő tulajdonában van.

Lezuhant egy Jak–18T típusú kismotoros repülőgép a Moszkva megyei Kolomna város szomszédságában fekvő Panovo falu mellett, a fedélzeten tartózkodó mind a négy utas életét veszítette – közölte szombaton a rendkívüli helyzetek minisztériumának helyi igazgatósága.
Az MTI tudósítása szerint a katasztrófa helyszínére utaztak a Nyomozó Bizottság (SZK) légi és vízi közlekedéssel foglalkozó osztálya moszkvai részlegének munkatársai. Az operatív szolgálatok arról tájékoztatták a TASZSZ hírügynökséget, hogy az előzetes vizsgálatok szerint a repülőgép hajtóműve mondta fel a szolgálatot.
Az illetékes moszkvai régióközi közlekedési ügyészség közölte a Telegramon, hogy megkezdte a vizsgálatot a szerencsétlenség ügyében.

Két halálos áldozata és 19 sérültje van a csütörtökön a kaliforniai Fullertonban történt légiszerencsétlenségnek, amelyet az okozott, hogy egy kisrepülő a felszállást követően egy bútorkárpit-készítő üzemre zuhant – közölte a helyi rendőrség.
A rendőrségi közlemény szerint a két személy, aki életét vesztette, a repülőn tartózkodott, a sérültek pedig az épületben, ahol mintegy kétszázan dolgoztak.
A sérültek közül 11-et kellett kórházba szállítani, a többieket a helyszínen látták el.
A repülő kora délután, alig két perccel az Orange megyében lévő fullertoni repülőtérről való felszállása után zuhant az üzemre. A baleset Disneylandtől mintegy tíz kilométerre történt a repülési útvonalakat figyelő FlightAware internetes honlap szerint.
Az üzemmel szemben lévő másik műhely biztonsági kameráinak felvételén látszik, hogy a kisgép oldalára fordulva zuhan a tetőn át az épületbe, majd felrobban és fekete füst száll fel. A fullertoni rendőrség szóvivője elmondta, hogy a helyszínre érkezett tűzoltók fékezték meg a lángokat, és a környező vállalkozások épületeit is kiürítették.
Chris Villalobos, a repülőtér egy alkalmazottja a helyszínre érkezve arról számolt be, hogy a kisgép tulajdonosa, akinek saját hangárja is van, gyakran szállt fel gépével a repülőtérről. Csütörtökön a felszállás után jelezte a légi irányításnak, hogy megfordul, és kényszerleszállást hajt végre, de az nem derült ki, hogy milyen probléma volt a géppel – tette hozzá Villalobos
A Szövetségi Légügyi Hivatal (FAA) vizsgálatot indított az egymotoros, négyszemélyes, Van’s RV-10-es kisrepülő balestének ügyében. A Nemzeti Közlekedésbiztonsági Bizottság (NTSB) is vizsgálja a történteket.

Scott Ehler beszámolója szerint a repülőgép a St. Pete-Clearwater nemzetközi repülőtérről szállt fel, és a kifutópályától öt kilométerre északra tűnt el a radarról.
A Szövetségi Légügyi Hatóság (FAA) közlése szerint a Beechcraft Bonanza V35 típusú, egymotoros könnyű repülőgép pilótája csütörtök este 7 órakor jelezte az irányítóközpont felé a motor meghibásodását.
A kisrepülő ezután veszíteni kezdett a repülési magasságból, majd Clearwaternél a mozgatható házakból álló Bayside Waters lakótelepre zuhant. A zuhanás következtében egy mobilotthon teljesen megsemmisült, további három kigyulladt, de a tűzoltók hamar eloltották a tüzet – számolt be róla Ehlers.
„A gép maradványait egy darabban találták meg” – fűzte hozzá Ehlers, aki a baleset áldozatainak pontos számát nem tudta közölni, miután az FAA-nak nem állt rendelkezésére pontos adat arra vonatkozóan, hányan tartózkodtak a balesetkor a kisrepülőgép fedélzetén.

A Cessna Citation V típusú repülőgépet helyi idő szerint 15.20-kor fogta el a légierő F-16-os repülőgépe, és világítórakétákkal próbálta meg felhívni magára a pilóta figyelmét.
A vadászgépnek engedélyezték, hogy átlépje a hangsebességet, ezért Washingtonban vasárnap délután hangrobbanás volt hallható. A kisrepülő végül semmire nem reagált, és Virginia államban lezuhant.
A pilóta nem válaszolt, és a gép végül a George Washington nemzeti parknál, Virginia államban lezuhant.
„Az észak-amerikai légtérvédelem, a NORAD az utolsó pillanatig próbált kapcsolatban lépni a pilótával” – tudatta a Pentagon.
A Cessna Tennessee államból, Elisabethtownból a New York-i Long Island-be tartott, és egyelőre nem tudni, miért tért le az útvonaltól. A mentőegységek a baleset helyszínén nem találtak túlélőket.

A Fox News hírtelevízió helyszíni beszámolója szerint a kisgép helyi idő szerint kora este három emberrel a fedélzetén leszállni készült a Washington fővárostól mintegy 30 kilométerre fekvő Gaithersburg repülőterén, amikor egyelőre tisztázatlan okokból a villanyvezetéknek ütközött.
A három utas sértetlenül megúszta az ütközést, ugyanakkor még órákkal a baleset után is a gépben tartózkodtak mintegy 30 méteres magasságban, a feszültség alatt lévő vezeték közelében.
A helyszínre nagy létszámú mentőegység érkezett, hogy megpróbálja kiszabadítani a szerencsétlenül járt gépen utazókat, és helyreállítani az áramszolgáltatást Maryland állam sűrűn lakott régiójában.
