Több mint 1500 családot telepítettek ki vasárnap a Fülöp-szigetek középső részén lévő Albay tartományban található Mayon tűzhányó környékéről, a hatóságok pedig hármas szintre emelték a készültséget és repülési figyelmeztetést adtak ki.
Az ország vulkanológiai intézete felhívta a figyelmet arra, hogy a tűzhányó körül több kilométeres lávafolyamot, illetve több kisebb földmozgást is észleltek, és további lávafolyamokra, valamint földcsuszamlásra figyelmeztetett.
A polgári védelem azt közölte, a hamu több környékbeli települést elborított és összesen 52 falut telepítettek ki. A hatóságok figyelmeztettek, hogy a készültségi szint csökkentéséig senki nem térhet vissza otthonába.
A Manilától mintegy 330 kilométerre délkeletre található, 2462 méter magas és tökéletes kúp alakjáról híres Mayon az ország egyik legkiszámíthatatlanabb tűzhányója, és az utóbbi 400 évben mintegy ötven alkalommal tört ki – többek közt 2018-ban, amikor mintegy 61 ezer embernek kellett elmenekülnie otthonából.

A park igazgatósága elrendelte az Északi-perem (North Rim) lakóinak azonnali evakuálását. 500 ember már elhagyta otthonát.
Egy nagyobb tűz – a parktól északra – a Fehér Zsálya Tűz (White Sage Fire) – a Jacob-tó közelében ég, ahol evakuálási rendeletek és útlezárások is érvényben vannak.
Az Arizonai Földgazdálkodási Hivatal szerint a villámcsapás okozta tűz miatt 4439 hektár égett le, és nem sikerült megfékezni.
Az oltást nehezíti az erős, lökésszerű szél, a páratartalom és a száraz növényzet.
A szomszédos Coloradóban több villámcsapás okozta tűz is evakuálásra kényszerítette a Gunnison Nemzeti Park Fekete-kanyonjának összes látogatóját és alkalmazottját.

A térségben május 19. óta nem esett eső, a száraz aljnövényzet, az élénk szél és a hőség miatt a tűz gyorsan terjedt.
Több mint négyszáz embert evakuáltak.
A hatóságok arra kérték a lakosságot, hogy maradjanak otthon, és csak hivatalos felszólításra hagyják el az épületeket, hogy az utak szabadon maradjanak a mentőegységek számára.
A tűz következtében Marseille szolgáltatásai gyakorlatilag megbénultak: a repülőtér minden járatot törölt, felfüggesztették az északi és északnyugati vasúti közlekedést, lezártak több autópályát, főutat és alagutat, valamint számos buszjárat is kimaradt – írja a The Guardian.
Franciaország más részein is súlyos a helyzet. Hétfőn Narbonne közelében is tűz ütött ki, amit az erős szél tovább nehezít.
Közben más országokat is érintenek a lángok: Spanyolország északkeleti részén, Katalóniában 18 ezren kaptak utasítást otthonmaradásra a Tarragona tartományban pusztító erdőtűz miatt, míg Görögországban hétfőn 41 tűzesetről számoltak be, ezek közül 34-et sikerült gyorsan megfékezni.

Mintegy 45 embernek kell elhagynia otthonát a délkelet-németországi Szászország és Brandenburg tartományok határán tomboló tűzvész miatt – derült ki helyi hatóságok péntek esti bejelentéséből.
A tájékoztatás szerint a kitelepítések a tartományban található Jacobsthal Bahnhof nevű falu lakosait érintik, akiknek elővigyázatosságból szombat estig nem szabad visszatérniük otthonaikba. A hatóságok azt közölték, a tűzoltóság ellenőrzése alatt tartja a helyzetet, azonban a hozzátették: a széljárástól is függ, mikor tudják megfékezni a lángokat. Korábban már a környékbeli Heidehauser településen élőket is evakuálták.
A lángok kedden csaptak fel a szászországi Gohrischheide egykori katonai támaszpontján és a tűz azóta átterjedt Brandenburg egyes részeire is, valamint már 1000 hektárnyi földet felperzselt. Az oltásban körülbelül 400 tűzoltó vesz részt.
A bázison korábban fegyverek hatástalanításával foglalkoztak, így az oltási munkálatot végzőknek figyelembe kell venni az esetlegesen fel nem robbant lőszerek jelentette kockázatokat is. A környéken található továbbá egy rezervátum, Szászország veszélyeztetett madárfajaival. Mindeközben erdőtüzet jelentettek a kelet-németországi Türingia tartományból is, a helyzetet pedig súlyosbítja, hogy a meteorológiai szolgálat szerint a hét végén ismét hőhullámok várhatók. A tartományi erdészeti hivatal azt közölte, a mostani Türingia történetének legnagyobb erdőtüze 1993 óta.

A louisianai Amerikai Polgárjogi Unió (ACLU) szerint a családok tömeges, hirtelen történő kitoloncolása súlyos aggályokat vet fel.
Pláne, hogy az egyik gyermek áttétes rákkal küzd, őt gyógyszeres kezelés és a kezelőorvosával való konzultáció nélkül toloncoltak ki az országból, pedig a hatóságokat előzetesen értesítették az állapotáról. A szervezet hozzátette, hogy az egyik anya terhes, azonban számára sem biztosított a szülést megelőző megfelelő orvosi ellátás.
A Trump-kormánynak nem ez az első ilyen lépése, márciusban ugyanis egy tízéves agydaganatos, amerikai állampolgársággal rendelkező lányt szállították Texasból Mexikóba a megfelelő papírokkal nem rendelkező szüleivel együtt.

A spanyol meteorológiai szolgálat (Aemet) tájékoztatása szerint a tartomány egyes részein 12 óra alatt több mint 80 milliméter eső várható.
A hatóságok 19 folyóra adták ki a legmagasabb, vörös szintű áradási riasztást a régióban.
Például, Córdobában a városon áthaladó Guadalquivir folyó közelít az áradási küszöbértékhez.
A Gaudalhorca és Campanillas folyók hajnalban már kiöntöttek medrükből, emiatt több lakóövezetet is elővigyázatosságból evakuáltak Málaga város vonzáskörzetében, valamint Cátarama településen.
Antonio Sanz, a tartomány belügyi tanácsosa Canal Sur rádiónak elmondta: a két folyó vártnál sokkal nagyobb mértékben áradt meg, a Campanillas vízszintje másfél óra alatt emelkedett meg veszélyesen.
Az érintett térségekben nyolc oktatási intézményben maradt el a tanítás.
Több mint harminc közutat lezártak a hatóságok, mert járhatatlanná vált az áradások, vagy földcsuszamlás miatt.

Etiópiában nyolcvanezer embert telepítenek ki otthonukból a pénteki és szombati sorozatos földmozgások miatt, az egyik rengés 5,8-os erősségű volt – közölte szombaton az etióp kormány.
A földmozgásokat Afar, Oromia és Amhara régióban észlelték több hónapi intenzív szeizmikus tevékenység után. Szombat estig nem érkeztek áldozatról jelentések.
Mintegy nyolcvanezren élnek az érintett térségekben, a legsérülékenyebb lakosokat átmeneti szállásokra költöztetik át – közölte a kormány kommunikációs osztálya.
„A földmozgások a magnitúdójukat és a gyakoriságukat tekintve egyre intenzívebbek” – közölte a kommunikációs osztály, amely szerint szakértőket vonultattak fel a térségbe a károk felmérésére.
Az etióp nemzeti katasztrófa-elhárítási bizottság szerint mintegy 25 ezer embert evakuáltak biztonságosabb területekre Afar és Oromia régióban a sérülékenynek tekintett 51 ezer ember közül. Oromiából további 8000 embert a közeli napokban menekítenek ki. A legutóbbi, 4,7-es erősségű földmozgást a szombat délelőtti órákban észlelték az Oromia régióbeli Meteharától 33 kilométernyire északra.
A földmozgások épületeket rongáltak meg.
A szakértők az Afar térségbeli Dofan vulkán kitörésétől tartottak. A kráter nem eregetett füstöt, de az övezet lakói pánikban menekültek házaikból.
A földmozgások gyakoriak az Afrika szarván fekvő országban a Nagy Szakadékvölgy elhelyezkedése miatt, ez a terület ugyanis egyike a világban azoknak, ahol a leggyakoribb a szeizmikus tevékenység. A szakértők szerint a földmozgások és vulkánkitörések a tektonikus lemezek mozgása következtében alakulnak ki az Nagy Afrikai Szakadékvölgy alatt.

„A kitelepítési intézkedések kezdete óta több mint 121 ezer embert telepítettek ki kilenc határ menti régió területéről. Az elmúlt 24 órában több mint 650 ember távozott önállóan és szervezett oszlopokban, a biztonságos területekre való elhelyezésük folytatódik” – közölte hétfőn az orosz rendkívüli helyzetek minisztériuma.
Az ukrán csapatok közel két héttel ezelőtt határon átnyúló inváziót indítottak a régióba, ami jelentős meglepetésként érte Vlagyimir Putyin orosz elnököt és legfelsőbb katonai vezetőit, akik jelenleg is a kijevi erők visszaszorításán dolgoznak. Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán államfő korábban azt mondta, legfőbb katonai parancsnoka arról tájékoztatta, hogy Ukrajna elérte céljait Kurszkban.

Korábban arról számoltak be, hogy a harcok fokozódása, valamint az orosz szabotázs- és hírszerző csoportok aktivitásának növekedése miatt Szumi megyében korlátozások lépnek életbe az állampolgárok számára.

Újabb vulkánkitörést jelentettek Izlandról, az ország délnyugati részén, Grindavík városánál vasárnap észlelték. A Reykjavíktól 40 kilométerre délnyugatra fekvő halászváros mintegy négyezer lakosát kitelepítették.
Mivel Izland az óceáni hátságon, vagyis egymástól távolodó kőzetlemezek vonalán fekszik, így erősen aktív vulkáni terület. A mostani két év alatt az ötödik vulkánkitörés az országban, a legutóbbi decemberben volt, szintén Grindavík közelében.
A CNN szerint a város már hetek óta figyeli a vulkán szeizmikus tevékenységét. A hatóságok azt követően rendelték el a helyiek evakuálását, hogy a vulkánból ömleni kezdett a láva, és hatalmas füstcsóvát bocsátott ki magából.
Izlandon 33 aktív vulkánrendszer található, Európában a legtöbb, és átlagosan minden negyedik-ötödik évben történik vulkánkitörés. A mostani két év alatt az ötödik vulkánkitörés az országban, a legutóbbi decemberben történt, szintén Grindavík közelében.
Nemrég a világ másik felén, Indonéziában is kitört egy vulkán, a Marapi.
