A pristinai kormány szombat reggel lezárt két határátkelőt Koszovó és Szerbia között, miután a határ szerbiai oldalán élők egy csoportja blokád alá vonta az odavezető utakat, és nem engedte át a koszovói dokumentumokkal rendelkezőket. A határátkelők szombat estétől már újra használhatók.
A szerbek azért tiltakoztak, mert a koszovói rendőrség augusztus 30-án razziát tartott a szerb kormány észak-koszovói szerveinek épületeiben, majd elfoglalta az objektumokat, elszállította az ott tárolt dokumentumokat, és nem engedte be a szerb dolgozókat. A hivatalos pristinai álláspont szerint az akció célja a koszovóiakkal párhuzamosan működtetett szerb intézmények felszámolása volt, míg a belgrádi vezetés és a helyi szerbek úgy vélik, hogy a koszovói kormány az ott élő szerb kisebbséget akarta megfélemlíteni és elüldözni.
Xhelal Svecla koszovói belügyminiszter a közösségi médiában reagált a szerb tiltakozók lépéseire. Szerinte szélsőséges csoportok álarcot viselő tagjai állítják meg a határnál a koszovói állampolgárokat, akik csak át akarnak kelni Szerbián Koszovó felé menet. Hozzátette: erre válaszul Koszovó lezárja a merdarei és a brnjaki határátkelőket, ám a többi négy átkelő továbbra is használható. Néhány órával később a politikus szintén a közösségi médiában tette közzé, hogy a helyzet javult, így szombat estétől újra használható az összes átkelő.
Az utóbbi hónapokban a korábbinál is feszültebb a viszony Szerbia és Koszovó között. Májusban például az okozott feszültséget a két fél között, hogy a koszovói rendőrség a szerbiai posta-takarékpénztár hat észak-koszovói kirendeltségén tartott razziát, majd bezáratta az intézményeket, mert szerb dinárt talált a széfekben, holott ez a pénznem már nem hivatalos fizetőeszköz Koszovóban.
Koszovó 2008-ban egyoldalúan kiáltotta ki függetlenségét Szerbiától, de Belgrád ezt azóta sem hajlandó elismerni, és továbbra is saját, déli tartományának tekinti a többségében albánok lakta területet. A két fél között 2013-ban kezdődött a kapcsolat rendezését célzó párbeszéd brüsszeli közvetítéssel, előrelépés azonban azóta sem történt.

Lembergben konfliktus alakult ki a területi toborzási és szociális támogatási központ (TCK) munkatársai és egy férfi között, amikor a járművükbe invitálták, hogy behívót állítsanak ki neki – számolt be hétfőn az rbc.ua hírportál a Lemberg megyei TCK Facebook-közlésére hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint az interneten terjedni kezdett egy videó, amelyen a TCK munkatársai és a rendőrök megpróbálnak egy embert egy kisbuszba kényszeríteni. Utóbbi ellenállt, és a lábával akadályozta, hogy a katonák betuszkolják a kisbuszukba. A videót rögzítő nő a TCK munkáját is megpróbálta megzavarni. Egy rendőr odament hozzá és felmutatta az igazolványát, de nem avatkozott be a TCK és a férfi közötti konfliktusba.
A TCK szerint az eset a Zamkova utcában történt. A katonák észrevettek egy hadköteles korú állampolgárt, megálltak és a katonai nyilvántartásba vételi okmányait kérték. Miután a férfi átadta azokat, a katonák közölték vele, hogy 9 éve jelent meg utoljára a hadkiegészítő parancsnokságon. Ezt követően „a járművükbe invitálták” a férfit, hogy behívót állítsanak ki neki. „Ebben az időben egy nő haladt el mellettük, aki meglátta az kisbuszt és az egyenruhás férfiakat, telefonjának a kamerájával filmezni kezdte őket. A civil állampolgár ezt észrevette, és meg sem várva a felszólítást, provokálni kezdte a katonákat, konfliktusba lépett velük” – tette hozzá a TCK, azt is megjegyezve, hogy a férfit nem verték meg, kiállították neki a behívót és elengedték.
Az kisbuszba invitált férfi később egy videót tett közzé, amelyben azt állította, hogy a TCK állítása valótlan. Elmondása szerint nem adtak át neki behívót, ehelyett elvették az ideiglenes hadkötelesi személyi igazolványát, amit magánál tartott.

Május 23-án soron kívüli ülést tartott a Zsitomiri Városi Tanács. Az egyik jelenlévő katona az ülés alatt földdel kezdte dobálni a képviselő-testületet. A hírt a Zsitomir Online közölte.
Az ülés közben Jaroszlav Hodakoviszkij ellenezte egy kioszk építését a Béke utcán, egy almafakert helyén. Elmondása szerint többször is kihívta a helyszínre a rendőrséget.
„Több mint 30 éve élek a Pancsisnij fabrikán, és 2014 óta harcolok ezért a földért. Most is harcolok, szabadságra jöttem. A Béke sugárúton van egy almáskert: már 2021-ben észrevettem, hogy építkezések zajlanak, azt hittem, parkot csinálnak, láttam, hogy egy kioszk alapjait készítik” – mondta a katona.
A katona beszéde közben földet szórt szét a tribün körül és a képviselőkre is dobott belőle. Az ülés verekedésbe torkollott, a helyszínre kiérkezett a rendőrség.

Alekszandar Vucsics szerb államfő a szerb–koszovói határra vezényelte Milan Mojszilovics vezérkari főnököt, miután a térségben ismét lövöldözés történt. A független N1 televízió közben arról számolt be, hogy a határtól két kilométerre nagy hatótávolságú szerb ágyúk jelentek meg, és újabb katonai egységeket is a határra küldtek.
Meg nem erősített beszámolók szerint a koszovói albán rendőrök és a barikádokat emelő szerbek nyitottak tüzet egymásra. A Koszovóban szolgálatot teljesítő KFOR erők szerint az incidensben senki sem sebesülte meg. A válság azt követően éleződött ki, hogy a koszovói hatóságok terrorizmus vádjával őrizetbe vettek egy szerb nemzetiségű koszovói rendőrt. Ezt követően a szerbek barikádokat emeltek és elzártak több utat Koszovóban.
Koszovó és Szerbia határán tavaly is voltak hasonló incidensek. Amikor a koszovói kormány elrendelte, hogy szerb rendszámú autókkal nem lehet belépni a 2008-ban függetlenné vált egykori szerbiai tartomány területére, a szerb hadsereg megerősítette jelenlétét a határon és harci gépek is elrepültek a térség fölött. A mostani válság miatt elhalasztották a szerb többségű észak-koszovói körzetekben december 18-ára kiírt helyhatósági választás is.

Néhány száz koszovói szerb tüntetett kedden az észak-koszovói Zubin Potokban azért, mert a helyi választási bizottság tagjai rendőri kísérettel törtek be a helyi önkormányzat épületébe. A koszovói rendőrség szerint teljesen jogos lépésről volt szó, az önkormányzati választásokat előkészítő választási bizottság tagjai kértek rendőri kíséretet – számolt be az MTI.
A koszovói rendőrség tájékoztatása szerint lövések és robbanások hallatszottak kedden, amikor az országos választási bizottság tagjai a koszovói szerb kisebbség által lakott településekre látogattak, sérültekről azonban nem érkeztek hírek.
A koszovói média beszámolói szerint Zubin Potokban a tiltakozók benyomultak a választási bizottság irodáiba, és ott randalíroztak, de Kosovska Mitrovica északi részén és Leposavicban is utcára vonultak az emberek.
A szerb sajtó tájékoztatása szerint viszont a szerb kisebbség vezette választási irodákat éppen a rendőrök verték szét.
Petar Petkovic, a szerb kormány Koszovó-ügyi irodájának a vezetője nyugalomra szólította fel a koszovói szerb kisebbséget, ugyanakkor megjegyezte, hogy a rendőri jelenlét az erődemonstráció legdurvább formája, és csak Pristina újabb provokációjának tekinthető.
A koszovói vezetés egyoldalú lépésekkel akar törvényellenes és jogellenes lépéseket tenni, hogy destabilizálja a térséget – magyarázta. A politikus a közösségi médiában azt írta, „folytatódik (Albin) Kurti terrorja”.
Az eseményekre a Tiranában tartózkodó Aleksandar Vucic szerb köztársasági elnök is reagált. Azt üzente: a koszovói fél megsértette a kilenc éve aláírt brüsszeli megállapodást, amikor állig felfegyverzett rendőröket küldött az észak-koszovói településekre. Koszovó minden nap újabbnál újabb provokációval áll elő, és azt keresi, hogyan tudná felborítani a békét és a stabilitást.
Koszovó északi részén azért tartanak előrehozott önkormányzati választást december 18-án, mert az ott élő szerb kisebbség tagjai november első hetében úgy döntöttek, hogy kivonulnak a koszovói állam intézményeiből, tiltakozásul amiatt, hogy a pristinai hatóságok elrendelték: a Szerbia által kiadott rendszámtáblákat koszovóiakra kell cserélni.
Csaknem 600 szerb lépett ki a koszovói rendőrség kötelékéből, miután a pristinai belügyminiszter felfüggesztette az egyik helyi szerb rendőrségi vezetőt. Az ugyanis bejelentette, hogy a rendőrség szerb tagjai nem hajtják végre az utasítást, amely szerint előbb figyelmeztetniük, majd büntetniük is kell az autósokat, akik nem cserélik le gépkocsijuk rendszámtábláját.
A szerb nemzetiségű rendőrök mellett bírák, ügyészek és hivatalnokok is felfüggesztették a munkát. A szerbek közölték, hogy mindaddig nem térnek vissza az intézményekbe, amíg Koszovó nem teljesíti a 2013-ban brüsszeli közvetítéssel aláírt megállapodásban foglaltakat, valamint amíg nem alakítja meg a koszovói szerb önkormányzatok közösségét.
Erre viszont Pristina azért nem hajlandó, mert ezzel nagyobb autonómiát biztosítana az egyébként is csak a belgrádi kormányt elismerő szerbeknek.
A pristinai vezetés viszont úgy döntött, nem vár arra, hogy visszatérjenek hivatalukba a kisebbségi szerbek, az előrehozott polgármesterválasztás kiírása mellett az üresen maradt rendőri, bírói, ügyészi és hivatalnoki tisztségeket is albánokkal fogják feltölteni – közölte Albin Kurti miniszterelnök. „Nem engedhetjük meg, hogy vákuum keletkezzen a munkavégzésben” – hangsúlyozta.
Koszovó 2008-ban egyoldalúan kiáltotta ki függetlenségét Szerbiától, amit Belgrád azóta sem ismer el, és továbbra is saját, déli tartományának tartja a többségében albánok lakta területet.

Kína 22 vadászgépet küldött át a Tajvani-szorosban húzódó „középvonalon” csütörtökön – közölte a tajvani honvédelmi minisztérium. A tárca szerint „légvédelmi rakétarendszereket” vetettek be a sugárhajtású gépek követésére, és rádiós figyelmeztetéseket sugároztak.
A „középvonal” egy nem hivatalos, de nagyrészt betartott demarkációs vonal, amely a Tajvani-szoros közepén húzódik, elválasztva Kínát és Tajvant. Ritkán fordul elő, hogy katonai repülőgépek átlépik.
Az elmúlt két évben Peking fokozta katonai behatolásait Tajvan légvédelmi azonosító területére (ADIZ). Az ADIZ nem azonos Tajvan légterével, hanem egy sokkal nagyobb területet foglal magába, amely átfedésben van Kína saját légvédelmi azonosító övezetének egy részével, sőt a szárazföld egy részét is magában foglalja.
A kínai ADIZ repülések túlnyomó többsége Tajvan délnyugati szélénél történik. Az elmúlt napokban azonban jelentősen megnőtt a középvonali behatolások száma, miután Peking hatalmas hadgyakorlatot jelentett be, hogy tiltakozzon Nancy Pelosi amerikai házelnöknek a szigetországba tett e heti látogatása ellen.
A szerdán és csütörtökön Tajvan által bejelentett 49 behatolásból 44 esetben kínai repülőgép lépte át a középvonalat.

Nagyon komolyan eszkalálódó félben van a feszültség Szaúd-Arábia és Jemen között, holott papíron szövetségesek.
A jemeni polgárháborúban Szaúd-Arábia és a központi jemeni hadsereg egy oldalon harcol a húszi lázadók ellen, a katonaság azonban mégis dróntámadást hajtott végre több szaúdi célpont ellen is – írja a The Cradle.
Még november 19-én a jemeni hadsereg ugyanis többek között a dzsiddai King Abdulaziz Nemzetközi Repülőtér és az Abba Nemzetközi Reptér közelében található katonai bázisokat is megtámadta, valamint a szintén Dzsiddában található egyik, az állami Aramco olajcéghez tartozó finomítót.
A jemeniek a folyamatos szaúdi katonai offenzívákkal indokolták a támadás szükségességét, elmondásuk szerint elegük van a szaúdiak folyamatos „ostromából”. Mint mondták, ennek már honvédelmi és polgárvédelmi okai is voltak.
A jemeni fél azt is jelezte, hogy egészen addig folytatni fogják a támadásokat, ameddig a szaúdi hadsereg nem hagy fel a jemeni portyázásával és az ostrommal. Hasonló üzenetet küldtek az Egyesült Arab Emírségeknek is, noha ellenük nem vittek véghez támadást.
Ezek az események pedig azért is aggasztóak, mert éppen Dzsiddában két hét múlva Forma-1-es hétvégét fognak rendezni, az F1 története során először látogatnak Szaúd-Arábiába. A vészjósló fejlemények azonban veszélybe sodorhatják a pilóták biztonságát.

Molotov-koktélokkal és botokkal felfegyverezett szerbek torlaszolták el autóikkal az észak-koszovói Mitrovica utcáit. A zavargások azután kezdődtek, miután a koszovói határőrök lefüleltek egy szerb csempészszállítmányt. A helyiek erőszakkal próbálták meg távol tartani a rendőröket, akik válaszul könnygázt vetettek be.
Az EU külügyi biztosa nyugalomra intette a feleket.
Az észak-koszovói feszültséget mielőbb meg kell oldani. Minden egyoldalú és meg nem tervezett akció veszélyezteti a térség stabilitását és ez elfogadhatatlan – írta a Twitteren Josep Borrell.
A szerdai összecsapásokban 6 rendőr és egy szerb civil sérült meg, 8 rendbontót őrizetbe vettek. A nyugat-balkáni régióban azóta újult ki az etnikai ellentét, mióta a szerb elnök Aleksandar Vučić egymás után hozza a Koszovót sújtó utazási és kereskedelmi korlátozásokat.
