Halálos tűz ütött ki egy kórházban a németországi Ludwigslustban, a Schwerin közelében fekvő városban. A hatóságok szerint a lángok egy betegszobában csaptak fel ismeretlen okból, majd gyorsan átterjedtek az épületre – írta a lap.
A tragédiában két beteg életét vesztette. A járási szóvivő megerősítette a haláleseteket, de az áldozatok személyazonosságáról egyelőre nem közöltek részleteket.
A tűz miatt az egész kórházat kiürítették, mintegy 60 beteget kellett ideiglenesen áthelyezni. A hatóságok szerint az ellátásuk folyamatosan biztosított volt.
A lángokat végül sikerült megfékezni, de az érintett épületrész, ahol a radiológiai osztály működött, használhatatlanná vált.
A mentés során nagy erőkkel dolgoztak a tűzoltók, a környéken jelentős forgalmi fennakadások alakultak ki. A helyszínt később drónokkal is átvizsgálták, hogy kizárják a rejtett izzó gócokat.

Az Ungvári Járási Rendőrkapitányság nyomozói vizsgálják az Ungvári Központi Klinikai Kórházban történt tűzeset körülményeit, amelynek következtében egy 74 éves beteg életét vesztette.
A tűzről szeptember 16-án éjjel érkezett bejelentés a rendőrséghez a tűzoltóságtól. A lángokat a tűzoltók eloltották az intézmény ötödik emeletén, ahol a rendőrök egy eszméletlen férfit találtak az egyik kórteremben. A beteget azonnal az intenzív osztályra szállították, ám később elhunyt. A halál előzetes oka: szén-monoxid-mérgezés.
A helyszíni szemle és a tanúk meghallgatása során kiderült, hogy az elhunyt férfi többször megszegte a kórházi tűzvédelmi szabályokat.
A pontos okok tisztázása érdekében több szakértői vizsgálatot rendelnek el – közölte a egyei rendőrség kommunikációs osztálya.

Legkevesebb tíz újszülött halt meg az észak-indiai Dzshánszí kórházában keletkezett tűzben – közölte Uttar Prades állam kormányszóvivője. A Times Now hírportál jelentése szerint 16 csecsemő van még életveszélyben. A tüzet már eloltották ‒ írja külföldi források és az MTI alapján a Magyar Hírlap.
„Tíz csecsemő sajnos meghalt” – közölte szombaton Uttar Prades állam kormányának szóvivője a péntek esti tűzvészről. „Hét holttestet már azonosítottak. Három holttestet egyelőre nem sikerült azonosítani” – mondta.
A tűz a kórház újszülöttosztályán ütött ki helyi idő szerint pénteken este fél 11 körül. Az NDTV hírcsatorna szerint összesen 54 újszülött volt az osztályon a tűz kitörésekor. Az első megállapítások szerint rövidzárlat okozta a tüzet.
Mivel tűzriadó nem volt, a jelentések szerint a gyerekek evakuálása nem történt meg időben. A lángokat azóta eloltották.
Narendra Modi indiai miniszterelnök az X online szolgáltatáson közzétett bejegyzésében szívszorítónak nevezte a haláleseteket. „Mély részvétemet fejezem ki azoknak, akik elvesztették ártatlan gyermekeiket” – írta Modi. „Imádkozom Istenhez, hogy adjon nekik erőt, hogy elviseljék ezt a mérhetetlen veszteséget.”
Indiában gyakran fordulnak elő tűzesetek a laza biztonsági előírások és a tűzvédelmi ellenőrzések hiánya miatt. Sok középületben nincsenek kijelölt menekülési útvonalak, sem kihelyezett tűzoltó készülékek.

A tartomány orvosi egyetemét vezető Mohammad Tagi Asubi az IRNA iráni állami hírügynökségnek azt mondta, a lángok az elektromos berendezésekben csaptak fel, a tűz okát vizsgálják.

Két koronavírusos beteg meghalt csütörtök hajnalban a dél-romániai Ploiesti járványkórházában kiütött tűzben – közölte az Agerpres hírügynökség.
A tűz hajnali negyed ötkor lángolt fel a kórház egyik földszinti kórtermében, és nem terjedt át más termekre. A helyszínre riasztott tűzoltók gyorsan eloltották a lángokat, a kórterem két idős betegének az életét azonban nem tudták megmenteni. A tűzben egy ápoló is megsérült, testfelülete 40 százalékán szenvedett égési sebeket. A járványkórházból 18 beteget egy másik ploiesti kórházba szállítottak át, az ápolót bukaresti kórházba vitték.
Az országban az utóbbi évben négy másik tragédia is történt a Covid-kórházakban. Tavaly novemberben a kelet-romániai Karácsonkő (Piatra Neamt) koronavírusos betegeket ápoló kórházának intenzív osztálya gyulladt ki: akkor tízen életüket vesztették. Idén januárban a bukaresti Matei Bals járványkórház koronavírus osztályának egyik kórtermében keletkezett tűz, amelyben négy beteg vesztette életét. Áprilisban oxigénellátás nélkül maradt a bukaresti Victor Babes járványkórház udvarán egy konténerben kialakított intenzív terápiás Covid-részleg, és emiatt három súlyos állapotban lévő koronavírusos páciens meghalt. Októberben a konstancai járványkórház intenzív osztályán keletkezett tűz, hét beteg halálát okozva.

Halálos áldozatokat is követelő tűz pusztított pénteken Romániában a koronavírusos betegeket ápoló konstancai járványkórházban.
A katasztrófavédelem a tűz megfékezése után közölte: kilenc páciens életét vesztette, a kórházat kiürítették.
Az első jelentések szerint a kórház intenzív osztálya gyulladt ki, ahol lélegeztetőgépek működnek. A tragédiáról készült amatőr videofelvételeken az látszik, hogy a kétemeletes épület jelentős részét sűrű füst lepte el, a földszinti kórtermekből a betegek az ablakokon kimászva menekültek.
A katasztrófavédelem a szomszédos megyékből is Konstancára küldött tűzoltóegységeket, hogy az oltásban és a betegek kimenekítésében segédkezzenek. A konstancai járványkórház udvarán a tűzoltók mobilkórházat állítottak fel, amelyben elvégzik az evakuált betegek szűrését, és állapotuk függvényében más kórházakba irányítják át őket.
Az egészségügyi minisztérium szerint a konstancai járványkórházban 113 beteget kezeltek, közülük tízet az intenzív terápiával.
Romániában a koronavírus-járvány negyedik hulláma minden korábbit meghaladó ütemben terjed, az újonnan fertőzöttek száma a héten már több ízben rekordot döntött, a kórházak túlterheltek, a Covid-kórházak intenzív terápiás részlegei országszerte megteltek, a szaktárca újabb kórházi részlegek felszabadításával és a szakszemélyzet áthelyezésével próbálja a helyek számát a növekvő igényekhez igazítani.
Az országban az utóbbi évben három másik tragédia is történt a Covid-kórházakban, szintén a kórtermekben használt lélegeztetőgépekkel összefüggésben. Tavaly novemberben a kelet-romániai Karácsonkő (Piatra Neamt) koronavírusos betegeket ápoló kórházának intenzív osztálya gyulladt ki: akkor tízen életüket vesztették. Idén januárban a bukaresti Matei Bals járványkórház koronavírus osztályának egyik kórtermében keletkezett tűz, amelyben négy beteg vesztette életét. Áprilisban oxigénellátás nélkül maradt a bukaresti Victor Babes járványkórház udvarán egy konténerben kialakított intenzív terápiás Covid-részleg, és emiatt három súlyos állapotban lévő koronavírusos páciens meghalt.

Tűz ütött ki a New York Queens negyedében található egyik klinikán, a mentők két embert súlyos égési sérülésekkel kórházba szállítottak.
A Queensben lévő Rockaway városrészben helyi idő szerint péntek délután 5 órakor csaptak fel a lángok az egyik kórház épületében – adta hírül az NBC New York televíziócsatorna.
A vészjelzésre azonnal több száz tűzoltót riasztottak, akik kiérkezvén még időben el tudták oltani a lángokat, és ki tudták menekíteni a bent rekedt pácienseket és a személyzet összes tagját.
A Twitteren közzétett videókon látszik, mennyire komolynak tűnt az incidens, amelyben szerencsére csupán két ember sérült meg, akiket egy másik kórházba szállítottak, állapotukat pedig stabilizálták.
Nagyjából egy óra múlva sikerült meggátolni a lángnyelvek továbbterjedését, azóta a tűzoltók megkezdték a kárfelméréseket is. Az evakuálás gond nélkül zajlott, a klinika legfontosabb részlegei, a sürgősségi és az intenzív osztály azóta zavartalanul működik.
A szóban forgó St. John’s Episcopal kórházat egyébként még 1905-ben alapították, a 257 férőhelyes épületben rengeteg szakképzett orvos és nővér dolgozik, akik többek között koronavírusos páciensek gyógyításáért is felelnek.

Kigyulladt egy koronavírus-fertőzötteket ellátó kórház a dél-iraki Nasszírija városban, legalább ötven ember meghalt, többen pedig válságos állapotban vannak.
Az INA iraki állami hírügynökség arról számolt be, hogy a lángoló épületből tizenhat beteget épségben ki tudtak menekíteni, valamint számos megégett holttestet kihoztak. A halálos áldozatok között két egészségügyi dolgozó is van.
A tüzet hétfő estére még nem sikerült teljesen eloltani.
A hatvanágyas létesítményben az egészségügyi hatóságok tájékoztatása szerint még zajlanak a kutatási-mentési munkálatok.
Nem kizárt, hogy az áldozatok száma tovább fog emelkedni, több beteget ugyanis egyelőre nem találtak meg.
Nem ez az első ilyen eset Irakban, tavaly áprilisban egy bagdadi járványkórház gyulladt ki, akkor több mint nyolcvanan haltak meg.

Tizennyolcan meghaltak egy kigyulladt nyugat-indiai kórház Covid-osztályán szombaton, miközben újra világrekordot döntött a fertőzöttek száma: az egészségügyi minisztérium közlése szerint az elmúlt 24 órában 401 993 új esetet regisztráltak, és 3523-an haltak meg.
Az 1,3 milliárd lakosú országban a hivatalos adatok szerint több mint 19,1 millió fertőzöttje és 211 853 halálos áldozata van a koronavírusnak. Szakértők szerint a valós számok ennél jóval nagyobbak lehetnek a tesztelés hiánya és a fel nem derített esetek miatt.
Az ország nyugati részén található Barucsban kigyulladt egy Covid-osztály, 18 beteg meghalt a tűzben. Harmincegy pácienst sikerült megmenteni, állapotuk stabil – közölte egy rendőrtiszt.
A részleg a földszinten volt, és a tüzet egy órán belül eloltották. Az ügyben vizsgálatot indítottak.
Indiában a járvány második hulláma tombol: február vége óta 7,7 millió fertőzöttet regisztráltak az országban, jóllehet az ezt megelőző időszakban hat hónap alatt igazoltak ugyanennyit.
Január óta India lakosságának mintegy 10 százalékát oltották be, de csak 1,5 százalék kapta meg a teljes védettséghez szükséges oltásadagját annak ellenére, hogy az ország az egyik legnagyobb vakcinagyártó a világon.
