A párizsi főügyészség információja szerint Magyarországon tartóztatták le azt a 27 éves férfit, Loïk Le Priolt, akit a francia rendőrség a 42 éves argentin válogatott rögbijátékos, Federico Martin Aramburu agyonlövésével gyanúsít.
A gyilkosság múlt péntekről szombatra virradóra, kora reggel történt Párizs VI. kerületében a Saint-Germain-des-Prés negyed egyik éjszakai mulatóhelye előtt kirobbant vita után.
Aramburu és társasága összeszólalkozott egy másik – francia – csoporttal, amelynek során a rögbijátékos az egyik vitapartnerét – annak csuklyás pulóverét megrántva – a földre teperte. A szórakozóhely biztonsági őreinek ugyan sikerült szétválasztani a feleket, de ezután a francia csoportból ketten is Aramburura lőttek. A nyomozás jelenlegi információi szerint a halálos lövéseket az a Loïk Le Priol adhatta le, aki az eset után azonnal elmenekült Franciaországból, és akit Magyarországon tartóztattak le a rendőrök nemzetközi elfogatóparancs alapján.
Az argentin származású Federico Martin Aramburu Franciaországban is nagy népszerűségnek örvendett. A huszonkétszeres argentin válogatott játékos több francia rögbiklubban is játszott visszavonulása előtt, a Biarritz Olympique-kal 2005-ben és 2006-ban országos bajnokságot is nyert.
Le Priol társát – egy fiatal férfit – továbbra is Európa-szerte keresik. A társaság harmadik tagját, egy 24 éves francia nőt még Párizsban vették őrizetbe, mert ő vezette azt az autót, amelyből Priol és menekülőben lévő társa a lövéseket leadta.
