Otthonok tízezrei maradtak áram nélkül kedden Bosznia-Hercegovinában az erős havazás miatt, a hóviharokat kísérő erős széllökések miatt Szerbiában és Horvátországban is közlekedési káosz alakult ki.



A hatóságok szerte a Balkánon figyelmeztetést adta ki, miután a hó több fontosabb útvonalat eltorlaszolt, betiltották a nehézjárművek közlekedését, sebességkorlátozást vezettek be az érintett útvonalakon és felszólították a lakosokat, hogy ha tehetik, ne induljanak útnak. A közlekedést nehezítik az útra kidőlt fák, és a nyári gumikkal, hólánc nélkül közlekedők. Egyes hótorlaszok vastagsága elérte a két métert.













A két boszniai áramszolgáltató szerint összesen több mint 170 ezer háztartásban szünetel az áramszolgáltatás, főként az ország északi és nyugati részein. Közlésük szerint a helyzet „rendkívül nehéz”, sűrű, nedves hó rárakódott az áramvezetékekre, amelyekhez nehéz hozzáférni.



Bosznia több részén teljesen leállt a vasúti közlekedés, bezártak az iskolák és az óvodák a járhatatlan utak és az áramszünet miatt. Az északnyugat-boszniai Drvart kedden teljesen elzárta a zord időjárás a világtól. Hétfő éjjel gépkocsik tucatjai rekedtek a hóban, az utazókat kedd hajnalban sikerült kimenteni.

Intenzív havazás és fagyott eső bénította meg Németország közlekedését. Az extrém időjárási viszonyok miatt több száz repülő- és vonatjáratot töröltek. A jeges utakon több baleset is történt.



A német meteorológiai szolgálat (DWD) viharriasztást adott ki szerdára az intenzív havazás miatt. Az extrém időjárás óriási fennakadásokat okozott a közlekedésben országszerte.







A frankfurti repülőtéren több mint 500 járatot töröltek, Münchenben pedig több mint 250-et. Nyugat-Németországban a saarbrückeni repülőtér egész napra bezárt. Ezenkívül Düsseldorf, Köln, Bonn repülőterein szintén fennakadások történtek.



A helyi vasúttársaság, a Deutsche Bahn több járatot törölt, és bejelentette, hogy a szélsőséges időjárás miatt a gyorsvonatok maximális óránkénti sebességét 200 kilométerre csökkentik.

A fagyott eső miatt a jeges utakon Németország nyugati és déli részén számtalan baleset történt szerdán a kora reggeli órákban.



A helyi meteorológiai szolgálat szerint a heves havazás miatt fák dőlhetnek ki, vagyok azok ágai törhetnek le, és komoly balesetet okozhatnak a közutakon, vagy a villanyvezetékeknél.



Az országban számos iskola és óvoda bezárt, egyes vállalatok pedig felajánlották alkalmazottaiknak, hogy otthonról dolgozzanak – írja az ABC News.



A helyi meteorológiai szolgálat szerint az extrém időjárás a héten folytatódni fog, egyes helyeken akár 30-40 centiméter hó is hullhat – írja a Bild.

Két, kirakatból származó, túlméretezett gömb káoszt okozott a londoni Tottenham Court Roadon, miután a forgalomba gurultak.



London középső részén olyan erősségű szélvihar tombol, hogy lerángatta az utcai karácsonyi dekorációkat: két hatalmas gömbdísz elszabadult. Veszélyes kidobós játékká változott a dekoráció, amikor a szél elmozdította a helyéről.



Olyan sebesen gurultak a hatalmas karácsonyi gömbdíszek, hogy néha a földről is felemelkedtek. Kisodorták az úttesten közlekedő autókat, nekiütköztek az épületeknek, míg meg nem akasztották teljesen a forgalmat.









A TikTok-ra feltöltött videón látható, ahogy a hatalmas ezüst gömbök gurultak és pattogtak a Tottenham Court Roadon hétfő kora reggel, miközben azokat az autók kerülgették.



Az első gömb átgurult az utcán, majd nekicsapódott egy oszlopnak, és a levegőbe repült az úton, miután levetette fényes ezüst bevonatát.
