Magával ragadott egy 12 éves gyereket egy krokodil Ausztráliában, a rendőrség nagy erőkkel kutat utána. 



A rendőrség szedán jelentette, hogy egy krokodil támadott rá egy 12 éves gyerekre az egyik helyi patakban Paumpában. Az állat egy pici, mindössze 350 lelket számláló városban támadott a gyerekre, a pontos körülményeket azonban még mindig vizsgálják. A rendőrség jelenleg is kint van a helyszínen, hogy minden erejükkel az eltűnt gyerek után kutassanak. Emellett a családot és a közösséget is támogatják, akiket nagyon megrázott az eset. 



Erica Gibbson őrmester arról tájékoztatott, hogy a rendőrök jelenleg is nagy erőkkel fésülik át a patakot az eltűnt gyerek után kutatva. A körülményeket figyelembe véve azonban számolni kell azzal, hogy a gyermek már nincs életben – írja a CNN. A területen nagyjából 100 ezer krokodil él, amelyek akár hat méteresre is megnőhetnek, a halálos támadások azonban viszonylag ritkák.

A 13 és 16 éves fiúk egy gumicsónakban játszottak a vízben Saibai szigetén, amikor mindketten elkezdtek a part felé úszni, közben azonban a fiú eltűnt. A hatóságok hajnali 4 órakor értesítették arról, hogy a gyerek eltűnt. Keresni kezdték, majd nem sokkal később megtalálták a holttestét.



A szakértők megállapították, hogy a sérülései alapján egy krokodil támadta meg.



A hatóságok megpróbálják megtalálni a krokodil, ami a becslések szerint 3,5 méter hosszú lehet. A fiatalabb fiú biztonságban van – írja a The Guardian. 



Nem ez volt az első eset, korábban egy férfira és egy 9 éves gyereket is támadtak meg krokodilok Ausztráliában. Az egyik zimbabwei nemzeti parkban krokodil ölt meg egy férfit.

Krokodiltámadás ért egy férfit és egyéves gyermekét az ázsiai Borneónál, amikor csónakázás után ki akartak kötni a parton. 







Az agresszív krokodil hirtelen tűnt fel a vízben mikor a 45 éves Moherat épphogy kikötött a csónakjával a sziget malajziai részén fekvő Lahad Datuban.



A közel 3,5 méteres krokodil kiugrott a vízből és elragadta az egyéves kisfiút. Az apa nem tudta megmenteni a gyereke életét, hiába próbált megküzdeni az állattal.



A férfit több helyen is megharapta az állat, többek között súlyos fejsérüléseket is szenvedett, kórházba szállították.



A gyerek holttestét még nem találták meg, vélhetően megette a krokodil – írja a Daily Star.



A krokodiltámadások továbbra is ritkák és elszigeteltek a térségben, de előfordulnak. A múlt hónapban egy hasonló méretű krokodil leharapta egy nyolcéves kisfiú fejét, miközben családjával horgászni ment Costa Ricában. Júliusban pedig egy 14 éves lánnyal végzett egy krokodil Indonéziában, miközben a ruháját mosta a folyóban.

A lány szerdán a barátaival fürdött a Teluk Kayeli öböl partvidékének egy folyójában, amikor a krokodil megtámadta – mondta el Ambon város mentőcsapatának egy tagja.



A helyi lakosok lándzsával halálra sebezték az állatot, amikor a kislány még a szájában volt. Az áldozat maradványait csak péntek hajnalban találták meg.



„Ismeretes, hogy a folyó teli van bordás krokodilokkal. Az elmúlt tíz évben legalább két krokodiltámadás történt” – tette hozzá Namlea.

Egy borzalmas és szörnyű tragédiáról számoltak be a minap, aminek egy nyolcéves kisfiú volt az áldozata, akit megölt egy krokodil.



Krokodil nyelt le egy nyolcéves kisfiút Indonéziában, Borneó szigetén – adta hírül pénteken a The Sydney News Today online kiadása. A kisfiú és öccse szerdán Kalimantan tartomány keleti részén úszott egy folyóban, apjuk a házuk közelében tartózkodott, amikor a nagyobbik gyerekre krokodil támadt – közölte a helyi kereső- és mentőcsapat egy tagja.



Az apa a kisfiú után ugrott a folyóba, de a hüllő lenyelte a gyereket, hiába érte utol az apa az állatot és ütötte puszta kezével – tette hozzá. A folyóról köztudott, hogy krokodilok élnek benne. “Ők azonban gyakran jártak oda fürödni, vagy vízért a főzéshez” – magyarázta.



Csütörtökön a Kuta Timur kerületben befogtak egy hatméteres krokodilt, amelyben megtalálták a gyerek testét. A YouTube-on közzétett felvételen látható, ahogy a mentést végző férfi kihúzza a testet a hüllő gyomrából, a mellette álló család zokogó tagjainak szeme láttára.

Krokodiltámadásban vesztette életét egy férfi Borneón. Ez volt a harmadik haláleset, amelyet krokodiltámadás okozott a délkelet-ázsiai szigeten alig egy hónap alatt, írja az MTI.



A 47 éves férfi éppen a hajóján dolgozott a malajziai szigeten, amikor a hüllő a folyóba húzta – számolt be róla pénteken a helyi hírügynökség.



A szemtanúk megpróbálták elérni az áldozatot, hogy segítsenek rajta, de a krokodil magával vonszolta. A férfi testét még nem találták meg. A támadás Kuchingtól 200 kilométerre történt – mondta el a helyi mentőszolgálatok szóvivője.



Borneó halban gazdag folyóiban sok sósvízi krokodil él. Ezek a világ legnagyobb krokodiljai. A helyi hatóságok becslése szerint 10-13 ezer példány is lehet belőlük Sarawak és a szomszédos Sabah állam vizeiben.



Július elején egy 62 éves embert ölt meg Sarawakban egy ilyen krokodil, alig egy héttel korábban pedig egy 50 éves nő halálát okozta krokodiltámadás Sabah államban.
