Ukrán dróntámadás érte péntek hajnalban a kurszki atomerőmű közelében fekvő nyugat-oroszországi Kurcsatovot, de az orosz hatóságok szerint nem keletkeztek komoly károk.
Roman Sztarovojt kormányzó közölte, hogy egy ukrán drón megrongálta a város egyik épületének homlokzatát, de a támadásnak nem volt sérült vagy halálos áldozata.
Péntek reggel egy Moszkva felé közelítő másik drónt kilőtt az orosz légvédelem – közölte Szergej Szobjanyin moszkvai polgármester. A dróntámadás miatt rövid időre leállították a moszkvai Vnukovói repülőtér forgalmát.
Belgorodban, Oroszország nyugati részén szintén lelőttek egy drónt Vjacseszlav Gladkov helyi kormányzó jelentése szerint.
A szovjet korszakban épült kurszki nukleáris erőmű a csernobili atomerőműhöz hasonló grafitmoderátorú reaktorral működik. Az orosz állami atomvállalat közlése szerint jelenleg a kurszki atomerőmű három RBMK-1000 reaktora működik, egyet leállítottak.
