Kigyulladt egy toronyházakból álló lakótelep Hongkongban. Egyes jelentések szerint a tűzben négyen meghaltak, többen pedig az épületekben rekedtek.
Nyolc ember megsérült, köztük három eszméletlen állapotban van a város Tai Po kerületében található Wang Fuk Court lakótelepen történt tűzvész miatt. Egyes jelentések szerint többen a lángoló épületekben rekedtek – írja a Sky News.
A South China Morning Post szerint négy ember – köztük egy tűzoltó – meghalt, és a tűz legalább „három blokkra terjedt át a lakótelepen”.
Több ember rekedt a lángokban álló toronyházakban, és további két személy súlyos égési sérülésekkel kritikus állapotban van – közölte az RTHK műsorszolgáltató a rendőrségre hivatkozva.
A lángok időközben átterjedtek a szomszédos toronyházakra is. Az oltás közben több tűzoltó is megsérült. A tűz, amely helyi idő szerint délután 2:51-kor keletkezett (magyar idő szerint 07:51), átterjedt a komplexum külső részén felállított bambuszállványzatra – állítják a jelentések.
A tűzesetet legsúlyosabb, 5-ös fokozatba sorolták. A hongkongi média hivatalosan meg nem erősített beszámolója szerint az egyik halálos áldozat egy tűzoltó volt – közölte az MTI.
A Taj Po városrész Hongkong Új területeihez tartozik, és a város északi, magasabb részén fekszik, Sencsen mellett.
Hongkongban a felújítás alatt álló épületeknél gyakran használnak bambuszállványzatot, bár a kormányzat idén bejelentette, hogy biztonsági okokból a közberuházásoknál elkezdik kivezetni ezt a technológiát.
A BBC szerint a kigyulladt társasházakat 1983-ban építették, csaknem kétezer lakás található bennük, ahol körülbelül 4600 ember lakik.

Egy 14 éves lány meghalt, hat személy pedig megsebesült az oroszok Kijev elleni dróntámadása következtében a Szolomjanszki járásban. Október 25-én este a megszállók Shahed típusú pilóta nélküli légieszközökkel támadták a fővárost, számolt be a kijevi városi ügyészség sajtószolgálata szombaton.
21 óra körül a 20. és a 21. emeleten lévő két lakásban tűz ütött ki, mivel egy pilóta nélküli légijármű nekicsapódott a 25 emeletes épületnek. A 17-21. emelet között lévő lakások részben megrongálódtak.
Jelenleg egy halottról tudunk – egy 14 éves kislányról, aki az egyik olyan lakásban volt, ahol tűz keletkezett. Az orvosok négy sérültnek nyújtottak a helyszínen segítséget, egy embert kórházba szállítottak” – áll a közleményben.
