A Southwest Airlines 2494-es, Dallasból Indianapolisba tartó járata már felszálláshoz készült, amikor egy golyó találta el a repülőgép jobb oldalát a pilótafülke alatt – írja a CBS News.
A Southwest légitársaság szóvivője szerint személyi sérülés nem történt, az eset után a dallasi Love Field repülőtér kifutópályáját ideiglenesen lezárták. A dallasi rendőrség is megerősítette a támadás tényét, azonban bővebb információkkal még nem tudott szolgálni, így egyelőre nem tudni, hogy ki és miért lőtt rá a repülőgépre. A szűkszavú tájékoztatásból az sem derült ki, hogy hány ember tartózkodott a gép fedélzetén.
A Szövetségi Légügyi Hivatal (FAA) saját közleményében azt írta, hogy a Boeing–737-800 típusú repülőgépet a pilótafülke alatt érte a lövés, de az ő tájékoztatójukból sem derült ki több információ.

Meghalt szerda délután egy 14 éves diák az Ivano-Frankivszk megyei Nadvirnai járás egyik líceumában, miután a szakköri foglalkozáson légpuskával meglőtték – közölte az rbc.ua hírportál az Ivano-Frankivszk megyei rendőrség Facebook-oldalára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint a rendőrséget november 22-én 15:30 óra körül értesítették egy 14 éves iskolás fiú haláláról. A szakszolgálatok és a nyomozók azonnal kiszálltak az esemény helyszínére.
A baleset szemtanúinak kihallgatása után kiderült, hogy a 9. osztályos tanulót a szakköri foglalkozáson légpuskából leadott lövés a mellkasán sebesítette meg. A diák mentők kiérkezése előtt belehalt a sérüléseibe.
„Jelenleg a rendőrök továbbra is a helyszínen dolgoznak. A rendvédelmi munkatársak minden körülményt vizsgálnak, az incidens jogi minősítése folyamatban van” – írta az Ivano-Frankivszk megyei rendőrség sajtószolgálata.

Leállította adását a holland RTL Boulevard csatorna, miután újabb életveszélyes fenyegetést kaptak.
A hatóságok megnövelték a szerkesztőség védelmét, de a vezetők így is jobbnak látták, ha a munkatársak inkább otthon maradnak. A többnyire bulvárhírekkel foglalkozó csatorna egyik újságíróját, Peter R. De Vries-t múlt kedden lőtték le az épület bejáratában. Az életéért még mindig küzdenek az orvosok.
Közben a televíziónál és Amszterdam belvárosában is virrasztásokat tartanak. Az utcákat ellepték a virágok és gyertyák. Egy ismeretlen 4000 szál fehér rózsát helyezett el a főtéren és azt írta fölé: ez a sajtószabadság elleni támadás volt.
De Vries tanácsadóként segítette a rendőrség munkáját a marokkói-holland maffia elleni nyomozásban. A szervezet több tonnányi kábítószert hozhatott Európába és 2015 óta tucatnyi gyilkosságért lehet felelős. Az újságíró ezt neszelhette meg, ami majdnem az életébe került.

Kevesebb mint egy órára volt szüksége ahhoz a holland rendőröknek, hogy letartóztassanak két gyanúsítottat Peter R. de Vries holland rendőrségi riporter meggyilkolása után – írja a Bild című német lap. Az egyik gyanúsított a lengyel Kamil E. (35), aki a holland Gelderland tartományban él. A véres támadás után állítólag ő ült a menekülő autó volánjánál.
A szomszédok a Telegraaf című lapnak elmondták, hogy Kamil E. egy-két hónappal ezelőtt költözött be. A jelentés szerint ott élt terhes feleségével és két gyermekével. Rosszul beszélt hollandul, és alig tudott köszönni. A szomszédok kedves emberként jellemezték.
Kamil E. az interneten feltüntetett képein bokszolóként állította be magát. Nem irodalomtanárként keresi kenyerét: egy másik ügyben már a múlt héten is őrizetbe vették Delano G-vel együtt.
A második feltételezett merénylő a rotterdami Delano G. nevű rapper. Állítólag ő adta le az öt lövést de Vriesre. Tiel településen a Delano G. a közelmúltig egy zenei kiadót vezetett. A curacao.nu hírportál szerint Delano G. arubai származású (a Karibi-szigetvilág része – a szerk.) – írja a Panorama című holland lap.
A Boevennieuws című holland lap jelentése szerint minden jel arra mutat, hogy a támadást Ridouan Taghi parancsára követték el. Peter R. de Vries Taghi halállistáján szerepelt, amit a drogfőnök a bűnügyi tudósítónak írt levelében viszont tagadott – közli a Panorama. A Bild szerint a marokkói maffia akarta eltenni láb alól a holland újságírót.

Sajtóértesülések szerint az ismeretlen elkövető este fél nyolckor lőtt rá a 64 éves újságíróra, aki éppen távozott egy televíziós stúdióból. Nem sokkal korábban de Vries egy élő műsorban szerepelt.
De Vries Hollandia egyik vezető bűnügyi tudósítójának számít, és rendszeresen részt vesz tanácsadói minőségben bűnügyi eljárásokban, illetve szakértőként és kommentátorként televíziós műsorokban. Úgy tudni, jó kapcsolatai vannak mind az igazságszolgáltatás rendszerében, mind pedig az alvilágban, ennek ellenére több bűnüggyel kapcsolatban is kapott már fenyegető leveleket.
Peter De Vries jelenleg egy nagyszabású büntetőeljárásban a koronatanú tanácsadójaként vesz részt. A per a szervezett bűnözéssel áll összefüggésben. A koronatanú korábbi védőjét 2019 szeptemberében agyonlőtték, szintén Amszterdam utcáján.

Ismeretlen elkövető még május 1-jén belőtt a Poltava megyei Kremencsuk zsinagógájának az ablakán, amelynek az üvegét átlyukasztotta a lövedék, de visszatartották az információt az esetről, tartva attól, hogy pánik tör ki a helyi zsidó közösségben – adta hírül hétfőn a JewishNews ukrán zsidó hírportál.
A jelentés szerint a kremencsuki zsidó közösség az Ukrajnai Egyesült Zsidó Közösséggel együtt azért döntött a zsinagóga elleni támadásról szóló hír nyilvánosságra hozásáról, mert elavultság miatt szükségessé vált a zsinagóga térfigyelő kamerarendszerének a cseréje. Mivel a keremencsuki zsinagóga igen nagy, a helyi zsidó közösség nem tudja önerőből finanszírozni a térfigyelő rendszer korszerűsítését, ezért adakozásra kér mindenkit, akinek nem közömbös a zsinagóga sorsa. A pénzadományok fogadására a helyi zsidók speciális internetes oldalt nyitottak.
A zsinagógát ért incidens tényének nyilvánosságra hozatalával a kremencsuki zsidók sürgetni szeretnék az antiszemitizmus elleni 5109. sz. törvénytervezet elfogadását, amelynek hatályba lépése esetén szigorúbb felelősségre lehetne vonni a hasonló cselekmények elkövetőit. A jogszabálytervezet szövegét a Legfelső Tanács két szakbizottsága már jóváhagyta.
