Az orosz-ukrán háború kitörése óta a legsúlyosabb humanitárius katasztrófa és a legbrutálisabb harcok színhelye Mariupol volt.
Továbbra is súlyos problémát jelent a délkelet-ukrajnai városban, hogy áram, víz, fűtés és már élelmiszer sem áll a helyiek rendelkezésére, már a tartalékokból is kifogytak és ott lóg a levegőben a humanitárius katasztrófa.
A helyzet feloldására szolgáló humanitárius folyosók megnyitása sem járt eddig sikerrel, ugyanis az oroszok folyamatosan bombázzák a várost, ráadásul a folyosókon menekülő civilekre is nem egy alkalommal rálőttek.
Mariupol városa továbbra is ostrom alatt áll, amelynek újabb megnyilvánulása az volt, hogy az oroszok elfoglaltak egy kórházat és 500 embert ejtettek ott túszul. Most pedig a Sky News beszámolója szerint újabb borzalmas fejlemény érkezett erről a helyzetről.
Olga Sztefanisinya, Ukrajna miniszterelnök-helyettese ugyanis közölte, hogy az oroszok most már lőnek is az elfoglalt kórházból, amellyel veszélybe sodorják a humanitárius folyosó biztonságát, ahol már 20 ezer embernek sikerült elmenekülnie.
Sztefanisinya közölte, hogy továbbra is próbálkoznak a humanitárius folyosó mai megnyitásán, de ez erősen kérdőjeles arra tekintettel, hogy az oroszok civilekre lőnek a kórházból. Ez pedig azért is problémás, mert 200 ezer embernek lenne szüksége azonnali evakuációra.
