Az újság azt írja – részben szemtanúk, újságírók és bloggerek által közzétett beszámolók és felvételek alapján –, hogy mintegy száz-kétszáz tüntető gyűlt össze a színháznál, tiltakozva a nyugdíjreform ellen. Többen megpróbáltak behatolni az épületbe, de a helyszínre érkező rohamrendőrök ezt megakadályozták, majd rendőrkordon alkottak, hogy Emmanuel Macron elhagyhassa az épületet.
A lap szerint feszült volt a helyzet, de a tüntetők nem
tűztek össze a rohamrendőrökkel.
Párizsban december eleje óta tartanak a tüntetések és
sztrájkok a nyugdíjreform ellen, amelynek célja a jelenleg 42 féle ellátás
egységesítése. Az új, pontrendszer alapú rendszerben megszűnnének a közszféra
egyes nagyvállalatainak, illetve az egyes foglalkozási ágazatoknak az önálló
nyugdíjpénztárai. A tervezet egyik leginkább kifogásolt része az, hogy a
kormány 64 évre emelné a teljes jogosultság idejét 2027-től. A nyugdíjkorhatár
jelenleg 62 év, amin nem változtatna a kormány, de a pontrendszer arra
késztetné a franciákat, hogy tovább dolgozzanak annak érdekében, hogy a
nyugdíjrendszer finanszírozható legyen.
