Egy orosz bíróság szerdán távollétében nyolc és fél évi börtönbüntetésre ítélte Marina Ovszjannyikova orosz televíziós újságírót, aki az ukrajnai orosz hadművelet elleni televíziós tiltakozó akciója nyomán vált ismertté.
Ovszjannyikovát a bíróság „az orosz fegyveres erőkről tudatosan terjesztett hamis információk” miatt ítélte el – olvasható a bíróság Telegramon nyilvánosságra hozott közleményében.
A 45 éves újságírónő egy éve menekült el Oroszországból a lányával egy meg nem nevezett európai országba, miután megszökött a házi őrizetből.
Az újságírónő tavaly márciusban a Pervij Kanal orosz csatorna esti híradójának élő adásában a műsorvezető háta mögött feltartott egy, a háború megállítását követelő plakátot, amelyben arra szólította fel a nézőket, hogy ne higgyenek a „propagandának” és a „hazugságoknak”. Júliusban pedig a Kremllel szembeni folyóparton egy plakátot tartott a magasba, amelyen Vlagyimir Putyin orosz elnököt gyilkosnak, az orosz katonákat pedig fasisztának nevezte. Ezt követően került augusztusban házi őrizetbe.

Ovszjannyikova hétfőn rohant be a hírolvasó mögé, hogy egy táblával tiltakozzon az orosz–ukrán háború ellen. Az újságírónőt előbb a rendőrségre, majd egy titkos helyre szállították, de kedd hajnalban szabadon engedték. Elmondta, hogy 14 órán keresztül hallgatták ki, s hogy két napja nem aludt, illetve jogi segítséget sem kapott.
Az akciója előtt egy videóüzenetet tett közzé, amiben bocsánatot kért, hogy hamis hírekkel csapta be az embereket az orosz–ukrán háborúval kapcsolatban, majd mindenkit tiltakozásra szólított fel. Emiatt 30 ezer rubel (95 ezer forint) büntetést kapott. A nő ártatlannak vallotta magát a nyilvános esemény szervezésének vádjában.
Az még nem világos, hogy az élő adásban történt tiltakozásával kapcsolatban külön vádemelés lesz-e, de félő, hogy az új büntetőtörvény alapján vádat emelnek ellene, amelynek nyomán akár többéves börtönbüntetésre is ítélhetik. A bírósági tárgyalás után Ovszjannyikova azt mondta az újságíróknak, most először is pihennie kell.
„A kihallgatás több mint 14 órán át tartott, nem léphettem kapcsolatba a családommal vagy a barátaimmal, megtagadták az ügyvédi segítséget is” – mondta a BBC tudósítása alapján. Azt is hangsúlyozta, hogy egyedül ő találta ki a tüntetés ötletét.
„Ez az én háborúellenes döntésem volt. Egyedül hoztam meg ezt a döntést, mert nem szeretem, hogy Oroszország elindította ezt az inváziót. Nagyon szörnyű volt” – mondta angolul, amikor elhagyta a bíróság épületét.
Az újságírónő korábban arról is beszélt, hogy az édesapja ukrán, és ezzel a háborúval az egész világ Oroszország ellen fordul. Ahogy fogalmazott, tíz nemzedék sem fogja tudni magáról lemosni azt a testvérgyilkos háború szégyenét.
