 Az orosz belügyminisztérium körözést adott ki Andy Stone, az amerikai Meta szóvivője ellen – jelentette a Reuters.
 Az intézkedést a hírügynökség azzal hozta összefüggésbe, hogy Stone tavaly március 11-én bejelentette, a Meta a Facebookon és az Instagramon az orosz katonák esetében megszüntette az erőszakra uszítás tilalmát.
 Moszkva még tavaly márciusban közölte, hogy büntetőeljárást indított a Meta munkatársainak „törvénytelen cselekedetei” ellen, akkor megemlítették Stone-t is, mondván, hogy „feloldotta az orosz hadsereg elleni erőszakra való felhívások tilalmát a platformjain”, és ezzel szélsőséges tevékenységre buzdított.
 A szóvivő és a Meta más munkatársai ellen emiatt az orosz Nyomozó Bizottság büntetőeljárást indított.
 A Meta fő közösségi platformjait egyaránt betiltották Oroszországban nem sokkal azután, hogy Moszkva tavaly februárban lerohanta Ukrajnát.
 A Guardian szerint az orosz belügyminisztérium indított büntetőeljárást Stone ellen, de a nyomozás részleteit és a vádakat nem hozta nyilvánosságra.
