A balesetről annyit tudni, hogy Mario Banožić vadászni indult szombaton reggel, és terepjárójával egy kamiont előzött a ködben Vinkovci határában, amikor frontálisan ütközött a szembejövő kisteherautóval. Annak a sofőrje a helyszínen meghalt.

Tiltakozók tízezrei vonultak utcára Izrael városaiban tegnap késő este spontán dühkitöréssel, miután Benjámin Netanjahu miniszterelnök váratlanul menesztette védelmi miniszterét, aki megkérdőjelezte igazságszolgáltatási átalakítási tervét.
Joáv Galant a jobboldali kormányzó Likud párt politikusa, szombaton nyíltan felszólította a Netanjahu vezette kormánykoalíciót, hogy függessze fel az igazságügyi reformot. Az erre reagáló Benjámin Netanjahu izraeli kormányfő vasárnap felmentette tisztségéből az igazságügyi reformot ellenző védelmi miniszterét. „Benjámin Netanjahu miniszterelnök úgy döntött, hogy meneszti tisztségéből Joáv Galant védelmi minisztert” – közölte a kormányfő hivatala.
A tel-avivi tüntetők vasárnap késő este elzárták a főutat, és nagy máglyákat gyújtottak, miközben a rendőrség összeverekedett a Netanjahu jeruzsálemi magánháza előtt összegyűlt tüntetőkkel. A zavargások elmélyítették Netanjahu igazságszolgáltatás átalakítására irányuló terve miatti hónapok óta tartó válságot.
A Likud miniszterei tegnap késő este jelezték, hogy hajlandóak tárgyalni. Micky Zohar kulturális miniszter, Netanjahu bizalmasa azt mondta, hogy a párt támogatni fogja őt, ha úgy dönt, hogy felfüggeszti az igazságszolgáltatás átalakító terveit.
