Az ukrán–lengyel határon, Lemberg megyében a határőrség munkatársai megakadályozták a technikai eszközök illegális szállítását, amelynek értéke mintegy 8 millió hrivnya volt.
A legnagyobb szállítmány a sehinyi határátkelőhelyen került elő. A Renault és Mercedes mikrobuszok ellenőrzése során a határőrök az egység operatív munkatársaival együtt 148 különböző iPhone modellt találtak, amelyeket Németországból Csernyivci felé próbáltak szállítani további értékesítés céljából. A készülékek egy részét elrejtve vitték, emellett mosógépeket, elektromos tűzhelyeket, akkumulátorokat és egy fagyasztót is találtak.
A Rava-Ruszka határátkelőhelyen is eredményes ellenőrzést tartottak: egy Peugeot autóban rejtett rekeszekben több mint 10 Samsung okostelefont, 10 iPhone 15-öt és Samsung fülhallgatót találtak. Egy másik járműben, egy Mercedes mikrobuszban három új iPhone 17-et fedeztek fel a határőrök.

Egy Olaszországból érkező menetrend szerinti busz hajtott be a napokban a csapi Tisza határátkelőre. A járművet egy 31 éves fiatalember vezette.
A sofőr használt ruhákat és cipőket jelentett be deklarációjában, s szóban kijelentette, hogy semmilyen vámkezelést igénylő árucikket nem szállít. A vámosok úgy döntöttek, alaposabb vizsgálatot tartanak a buszban, melynek során az ülések alatt okostelefonokat, okosórákat és laptopokat találtak, összesen 53 darabot.
A járművezető elismerte, hogy a szállítmány az ő tulajdonát képezi. A hatóságok lefoglalták az árucikkeket, az ügyben pedig eljárást indítottak.

A koszovói férfi azért kereste fel az egyik helyi kórházat, mert fájdalmat érzett a gyomrában. A röntgenkép azt is megmutatta, miért.
A Metro beszámolója szerint egy 33 éves férfi egészben nyelt le egy Nokia 3310-es mobiltelefont, a készüléket pedig csak sebészi úton lehetett eltávolítani belőle.
Az orvosok szerint a beteg élete veszélyben volt, mert a gyomra nem tudta megemészteni a készüléket. Ez volt egyébként a szerencséje is, mert ha a gyomorsava szétmarja a telefon akkumulátorát, abba egész biztosan belehal.
A Skender Teljaku, az operációt elvégző orvosi csapat vezetője a Facebookon is megosztott egy röntgenfelvételt, amelyen jól látni a gyomorban lévő telefont.
Emellett egy másik fotót is megosztott, amin már a kioperált 3310-es látható.
A sebészeknek sikerült egy endoszkópos műtéttel kiemelniük a tárgyat, így nem kellett felvágni a beteg gyomrát. A szakember azt mondta, elégedett volt a műtéti végeredménnyel. A beteg egyébként saját maga jelentkezett a kórházban, miután a telefon lenyelését követően fájdalmat érzett a gyomrában.

Egy 26 éves férfi az ukrán–magyar határátkelőn a zöldfolyosót választotta, mely által kijelentette, hogy nem szállít semmilyen árut, ami vámkezelést igényel.
Mindezek ellenére a határátkelő munkatársai úgy döntöttek, alaposabb vizsgálatot tartanak a Citroen típusú járműben, melynek során több mint 20 darab Samsung Galaxy A20S típusú mobiltelefonra bukkantak, különböző színekben. A fiatalember a váltónál és az ajtókban rejtette el a 21 telefont.
A hatóságok lefoglalták az árucikkeket, a szállítóra adminisztratív protokollt állítottak ki. A telefonok ára körülbelül 3500 hrvinyánál kezdődik, a járművel 180 ezer hrivnyára értékelték.
