Az ukrán csapatok az orosz megszállók tüzérségi fölénye miatt kénytelenek manőverező védekezést folytatni, és előnyösebb terepszakaszokat és pozíciókat elfoglalni – közölte csütörtökön Valerij Zaluzsnij, az ukrán fegyveres erők főparancsnoka Telegram-csatornáján, számolt a korrespondent.net hírportál.
A jelentés szerint a főparancsnok nehéznek, de ellenőrzés alatt lévőnek nevezte a fronthelyzetet. „A szabadság ára nagy. Nagyon nehéz helyzetben vagyunk, mert a tűzfölény az ellenségünk oldalán van.” Hozzátette: „mindennek ellenére kitartunk. A helyzet nehéz, de az ellenőrzésünk alatt van.” Mint rámutatott, „kénytelenek vagyunk mozgó védekezést folytatni, és előnyösebb terepszakaszokat és pozíciókat elfoglalni.” Ugyanakkor mint Valerij Zaluzsnij nyugtázta, „az ellenség a földünk minden elfoglalt négyzetméterét a vérével öntözi. Tartjuk magunkat!”
Mint hírportálunk május 25-én beszámolt róla, Olekszandr Motuzjanik, a Védelmi Minisztériumi sajtószóvivője kijelentette, hogy a keleti fronton nagyon dinamikus a helyzet, az ukrán hadsereg manőverezik az ellenség körül, és nem visszavonul. A helyzetet jellemezve azt mondta, hogy nem visszavonulásról, hanem manőverezésről, mozgó védekezésről van szó. Ugyanakkor hozzátette: „bizonyára bizonyos területeken az orosz csapatok átmeneti taktikai sikereket értek el, és ez elvileg nem titok. De az az állítás, hogy az ukrán csapatok visszavonulnak, teljesen téves értelmezése ezeknek az akcióknak.”
