Ahogy arról korábban beszámoltunk, augusztus 21-én rakéta- és dróntámadás érte Kárpátalját. Csütörtökön hajnalban két Kalibr típusú rakéta csapódott egy, a Munkács külvárosában található gyár épületébe. Emellett a Huszti járásban is rögzítették egy drón lezuhanását, amelynek darabjai megrongáltak egy polgári létesítményt. Itt szerencsére nem történt személyi sérülés. A gyár területén viszont ebben az időben közel 600 személy tartózkodott. A helyi hatóságok a délelőtti órákban még 12, majd a nap végére már 23 sebesültről számoltak be, akik különböző súlyosságú sérüléseket szenvedtek.

Frissített információk váltak ismertté a kárpátaljai Munkácsi Kistérségben a Flex gyárat ért rakétatámadás áldozatairól. Az augusztus 21. 12:30-as adatok szerint 19 sérültet regisztráltak.
A mentőegységek 10 embert szállítottak a munkácsi Szent Márton Kórházba. 16 egység vett részt a segítségnyújtásban – 15 alapegység és egy, amely pszichológiai támogatást nyújtott.
További 9 ember önállóan kért orvosi segítséget.
A vizsgálat után 6 beteg részesül fekvőbeteg-ellátásban:
- 5 fő a Szent Márton Kórházban (3 fő alsó végtag- és medencesérüléssel, 1 fő tompa hasi traumával, 1 fő koponya- és agysérüléssel és zúzódásokkal);
- 1 fő a Novák Endre Kárpátaljai Megyei Klinikai Kórházban (repeszek okozta fejsérülés, szem- és fülsérülés).
További 4 személynek, akiknél akut stresszreakció alakult ki, a helyszínen biztosítottak járóbeteg-ellátást. Velük pszichológus is dolgozott.
A megyei vezetés mindent megtesz minden egyes sérült kezelése és felépülése érdekében, számolt be Miroszlav Bileckij, a Kárpátaljai Megyei Katonai Adminisztráció vezetője.
