Az Ukrinform szerint Olekszij Csernyiszov, az ukrán Naftohaz igazgatótanácsának elnöke számolt be a Facebook-oldalán, hogy támadások következtében a Naftohaz létesítményei megrongálódtak.
Reggel az ellenség ismét megtámadta az energetikai infrastruktúrát. A Naftohaz csoport nyugati létesítményei megrongálódtak. Előzetes jelentések szerint nem voltak áldozatok – mondta.
Csernyiszov szerint jelenleg is folyik a munka a vészhelyzet következményeinek lokalizálása és felszámolása érdekében. Azt ígérte, hogy később részleteket közöl.
Amint arról az Ukrinform beszámolt, március 24-én reggel orosz Shahed típusú kamikáze drónok és rakéták támadtak meg egy energetikai infrastrukturális létesítményt Lemberg megyében, és tüzet okoztak. Andrij Szadovij, Lemberg polgármestere szerint az oroszok mintegy 20 rakétát és hét Shahed kamikaze drónt használtak a Lemberg környéki infrastruktúra megtámadására.
Később, március 24-én délelőtt az orosz csapatok másodszor is megtámadtak egy kritikus infrastrukturális létesítményt Lemberg régióban. Két találatot értek el a Kinzsal rakéták.

Az információk szerint Andrij Koboljevről van szó, aki 2014 és 2021 között vezette a céget. A férfi figyelmen kívül hagyta a véghezvitt projektek után járó prémiumok kifizetését az igazgatóság tagjai számára, később pedig 10 millió dollár bónuszt utalt ki magának, melyet eltitkolt a vezetőség elől.
A férfira héttől tizenkét évig terjedő szabadságvesztés és vagyonelkobzás vár, illetve megtiltják bizonyos tisztségek betöltését számára.
Koboljev kijelentette, hogy nem áll szándékában elbújni az igazságszolgáltatás elől, és jogait ügyvédek segítségével fogja megvédeni. „Rövid kommentár a gyanúsítással kapcsolatos hírhez. Külföldön tartózkodtam, azonban mikor értesültem arról, hogy mi készül, azonnal visszatértem Ukrajnába, nehogy okot adjak olyan vádakra, hogy megszöktem vagy elbújtam valahol. A jelentés szerint Csernisov azt mondta: „jelenleg több megsemmisült létesítményről tudunk, más objektumokban különböző mértékű károk keletkeztek.” Mint jelezte, az Ukrhazvidobuvannya szakemberei gyorsan megérkeztek a megrongálódott létesítményekhez. Jelenleg felmérik a támadás következményeit és mértékét – tette hozzá, megjegyezve, hogy információt fognak közölni az áldozatokról is. A helyszíni jelentések szerint a Rendkívüli Helyzetek Állami Szolgálatának munkatársai már eloltották a rakétatámadás következtében keletkezett tüzet.
