Április 15-én délelőtt 11 óra körül közlekedési balesetről érkezett bejelentés a rendőrséghez, amely a Beregszászi járásban, Szőlősvégardó és Szőlősegres között történt.
A helyszínre érkező rendőrök megkezdték a helyszínelést, és megállapították a baleset körülményeit. Az előzete adatok szerint egy 25 éves szőlősegresi lakos egy Opel Combo típusú kisbuszt vezetett, amikor nem az útviszonyoknak megfelelő sebességet választott, lesodródott az útról, és egy fának csapódott.
A baleset következtében a sofőr kirepült a szélvédőn keresztül, és olyan súlyos sérüléseket szenvedett, hogy sajnos a helyszínen életét vesztette.
A rendőrök lefoglalták a járművet, az ügyben szakértői vizsgálatokat rendeltek el.
A történtekről a megyei rendőrség kommunikációs osztálya számolt be.

Szeptember 29-én kora reggel bejelentés érkezett a tűzoltósághoz, miszerint a Nagyszőlősi kistérségben, Szőlősegresen tűz ütött ki egy pékség fölött. Az épületben a pékségen kívül boltok, raktárok és varrodák találhatóak.
A helyszínre a nagyszőlősi, tiszaújlaki, ilosvai és beregszászi tűzoltóság érkezett ki a leghamarabb, később csatlakoztak hozzájuk a szőlősvégardói és nagykomjáti kollégák is. Összesen 8 jármű és 62 személy dologozott a helyszínen.
A lángok 700 négyzetméteren terjedtek szét. Az esetnek nincsenek sérültjei, a tűz kitörésének okát és a károk értékét még vizsgálják.

Július 13-án súlyos baleset történt Szőlősvégardó közelében, egy személyautó és egy kisbusz ütközött össze.
A baleset következtében a gépkocsi árokba sodródott. A Rendkívüli Helyzetek Állami Szolgálata (DSZNSZ) kárpátaljai kirendeltségének közleménye szerint a két járművezető, illetve a mikrobusz 6 utasa megsérült, köztük két kiskorú is.
A személygépkocsi 2000-es születésű sofőrje beszorult a járműbe, a tűzoltóság feszítővágó segítésével szabadította ki. A baleset pontos körülményeit vizsgálják.

Kiraboltak egy 81 éves nyugdíjast a Nagyszőlősi kistérséghez tartozó Szőlősegresen. Mint kiderült, a lopást két büntetett előéletű huszti járási férfi követte el. A hatóságok már értesítették az érintetteket az ellenük indult eljárásról.
A rendőrséghez március 5-én érkezett bejelentés az áldozattól. A hölgy elmondta, hogy két ismeretlen személy tört be otthonába, s minden értéket elvittek.
A helyszínre azonnal kiérkeztek a hatóságok, s azonnal megállapították a tettesek kilétét. Mint kiderült, a két bűnöző megkötözte a nyugdíjast, majd pedig elmenekült a házból. A 19 és 23 éves férfiakra akár nyolc év börtönbüntetés is várhat.
