A katasztrófavédelem és a tűzoltóság megkezdte az esetleges károk felmérését. Személyi sérülésről egyelőre nem érkezett jelentés.
Ideiglenesen leállították a Vezúv környéki vasútközlekedést.
Nápoly városában, aki csak tehette, kiszaladt az épületekből az utcára. Megmozdultak a csillárok, az ajtók, a szekrények és a balkonok is – számoltak be a dél-olaszországi város lakosai.
A négyes erősségű földmozgás délelőtt 9 óra 14 perckor következett be, majd további enyhébb rengések követték.
Az Olasz Geofizikai és Vulkanológiai Intézet (Ingv) mérései szerint az epicentrum a tengeren volt, a Nápoly és Bagnoli közötti Dogana nevű területen.
A térség, amelyet Campi Flegreinek neveznek, egy több mint tizenkét kilométer átmérőjű kaldera, vagyis vulkáni terület, amely egyben Olaszország legsűrűbben lakott része, ahol félmillióan élnek. Egyharmaduknak a katasztrófavédelem által vörös zónának nevezett térségben van az otthona.
A Campi Flegrei területén legutóbb 1538-ban volt robbanásos kitörés, a századok alatt egymást követte a felszín süllyedése és emelkedése. 2005-ben újra felszínemelkedés kezdődött, idén február óta több mint kétezer földmozgást regisztráltak, amelynek kilencven százaléka egyes erősség alatti volt
Ezidáig március 13-án és június 30-án mérték a legerősebb mozgást: mind a két alkalommal 4.6-os erősségűt Pozzuoliban és Bacoliban, amelyek szintén a Campi Flegrei területén fekszenek.

Kedden jelentős földrengés rázta meg Nápoly környékét: az olasz Országos Geofizikai és Vulkanológiai Intézet (INGV) tájékoztatása szerint a 4,4-es erősségű földmozgás központja a Campi Flegrei vulkanikus térségben volt, mindössze harminc kilométerre Nápolytól. A földrengés után hét kisebb utórengés volt.
A 4,4-es földrengést nemcsak a Campi Flegrei régióban, hanem Nápoly egyes kerületeiben és több Campania régióbeli városban – így Pozzuoliban és Bacoliban – is érezni lehetett. A rengés következtében a régió vasúti forgalmát biztonsági okokból ideiglenesen leállították.
Az epicentrum környékén található oktatási intézményekből, köztük a Nápolyi Egyetem több épületéből is evakuálták a bent tartózkodókat.
Bár súlyos károkról vagy sérültekről egyelőre nem érkezett jelentés, a hatóságok fokozott óvatosságot kérnek a lakosságtól.
Campi Flegrei – amely vulkanikusan aktív területként ismert – évek óta megfigyelés alatt áll. A régióban már 11 éve érvényben van a sárga riasztás, ami a fokozott óvatosság szükségességére figyelmeztet.
Az olasz kormány februárban 184 millió eurót különített el arra, hogy csökkentsék a Nápoly melletti vulkáni térségben tapasztalható földrengések okozta károkat. A támogatás célja az épületek és az infrastruktúra megerősítése, a kockázatok mérséklése.
A keddi földrengés újabb emlékeztető arra, hogy a Campi Flegrei térsége továbbra is magas szeizmikus kockázatnak van kitéve, és folyamatos figyelmet igényel.

Csütörtök kora reggel 4,4-es erősségű földrengés rázta meg az olaszországi Nápoly térségét – jelentette az Olasz Nemzeti Geofizikai és Vulkanológiai Intézet (INGV), melyről a hirado.hu számolt be az MTI-re hivatkozva.
A földrengés 1 ór 25 perc körül következett be. Az epicentrumot a tengerben, Nápoly közelében, két kilométeres mélységben mérték. A magnitúdó megegyezik az elmúlt 40 év legerősebb földrengésével, amelyet tavaly májusban regisztráltak.
Az Egyesült Államok földtani intézete 4,2-esre becsülte a rengés erősségét.
Az olasz ANSA hírügynökség szerint a rengést Nápolyban és a kalderákból álló Flegrei-mezőkön lehetett érezni.
A Flegrei-félsziget Európa legnagyobb aktív szupervulkánja, amely nagyfokú vulkáni aktivitásáról ismert. A térségben nemrég újabb rengéssorozat kezdődött, nagyobb földmozgások kíséretében.

Az omlás után azonnal beavatkozó tűzoltók egy négyéves kislány és hatéves bátyja élettelen holttestét emelték ki a romok alól . Apjukat egy másik kétéves testvérével együtt kórházba szállították. Az épület második emeletén lakó idős asszony holttestét is kiemelték a romok alól. A gyerekek anyját jelenleg még nem találták meg.
„Aggodalommal éljük meg a tűzoltóság mentési munkálatait az összedőlt Saviano-i épületben. A már felépült áldozatok fájdalma párosul azzal a reménnyel, hogy megmenthetjük a romok alatt lévő többi embert is” – mondta Nello Musumeci a polgári védelmi és tengerpolitikai miniszter. Michele di Bari nápolyi prefektus időközben összehívta a Mentési Koordinációs Központot, hogy nyomonkövesse a mentési műveleteket.

A nápolyi bűnözés egyik központi kerületében omlott le egy épület, a rendőrök és a tűzoltók még vizsgálják a baleset okát.
Tragédia történt a nápolyi Scampia negyedben. Hétfőn késő este egy összekötő galéria összeomlása miatt ketten meghaltak, 13-an – köztük 7 gyerek – pedig megsérültek.
Az omlás a harmadik emeleten következett be, azonban a második és első emeleti galériák is érintettek voltak. A tűzoltóság a törmelék eltakarítása után ürítette ki a felsőbb szinteket, azóta pedig az épület stabilitásának felmérése zajlik.
Az olasz rendőrség már nyomoz az ügyben. Valószínűleg a rossz hírű negyed egy régi épületének szerkezeti hibája a felelős, azonban a tűzoltóság véleménye előtt nem tudnak biztosat.
Az este 11-kor bekövetkező omlás után rengetegen az utcára menekültek, tartva attól, hogy az épület újabb része omlik le. A Vela Celeste az egyike az utolsó olyan épületeknek, ami miatt Nápoly Scampia negyedét csak „Gomorrának” nevezik. A Manfredi-kormányzat tavaly áprilisban jelentette be, hogy újjáépítik a környéket, erre pedig 18 milliós támogatást biztosítottak a Periferie-tervvel.
A projektben az épület szinte teljes felújítása mellett a környéket is szerették volna élhetőbbé tenni, ám kudarcot vallott, a Vele pedig egyre inkább leépült, az utóbbi időben pedig a bűnözés és a drogkereskedelem központjává vált.
Bár a revitalizáció folyamatosan tervben volt a városvezetés részéről, ám egyelőre nem történt előrelépés az ügyben.

Elővigyázatosságból lakóházakat és egy börtönt is evakuálni kellett Nápoly térségében a hétfő esti, aránylag erőteljes földlökések nyomán – közölték kedden a helyi hatóságok.
A tűzoltósághoz és a polgári védelemhez lakóépületekben keletkezett károkról érkeztek bejelentések. Kedden több iskola is zárva tartott. Hétfőn este nyolc óra után tíz perccel 4,4-es erősségű földrengés rázta meg a dél-olaszországi Nápoly térségét az olasz geofizikai és vulkanológiai intézet (INGV) szerint.
A földrengés fészke az amerikai földtani intézet (USGS) szerint a Campi Flegrei (Lángoló mezők) néven ismert vulkáni terület térségében volt, 10 kilométeres mélységben.
Az INVG több utórengést is észlelt, amelyek közül a legerősebb – 21 óra 45 perckor – 3,9-es volt.
Sokan megijedtek és az utcákra szaladtak, a Pozzuoli és Bacoli városok közötti térségben számosan a szabad ég alatt, autóikban, vagy a polgári védelem által biztosított sátrakban, illetve egyéb szálláshelyeken, így például tornacsarnokokban töltötték az éjszakát.
Az olasz sajtó közölte, hogy keddre virradóra forgalmi torlódások alakultak ki, mert az emberek próbálták elhagyni a régiót, reggelre azonban már többen vissza is tértek otthonukba.
Szakértők szerint a mostani földrengéssorozat legyengült, de még nem ért véget.

Közel ötvenmillió euró értékben foglalt le hamis ötveneurósokat a pénzügyőrség egy nápolyi pénzverdében, ahol hét személyt vettek őrizetbe a pénzhamisító banda főnökével együtt – közölték az olasz hatóságok kedden.
A Nápoly kerületének számító Ponticelli egyik gyárépületében hamisították az ötveneurós papírpénzt.
A pénzügyőrség a kora reggeli órákban tört be az épületbe, ahol hét személyt vettek őrizetbe, köztük egy hetvenéves, büntetett előéletű nyomdászt, akit a hatóságok a hamisítók főnökének tartanak.
A lefoglalt hamis pénz értéke megközelíti az ötvenmillió eurót. A hamisításhoz használt gépekben további nyolcvan ív papírt találtak, melyek mindegyikével tizenkét bankót tudtak előállítani. A hatósági szakértők szerint a hamisítók az úgynevezett offset technikát használták, mellyel az eredeti ötveneurós bankjegy majdnem tökéletes másolatát tudták kinyomtatni.
A hamisítók a Napoli Group (Nápoly csoport) néven ismert bűnbanda tagjai. Ponticellibe áprilisban költöztek, azóta a hatóságok megfigyelés alatt tartották őket.
A hamisítók megállás nélkül dolgoztak: mind a heten turnusokban álltak a gépek mellett, melyeket soha nem állítottak le. A rendőrségi razzia idején is ketten aludtak, a többiek pedig dolgoztak. A pénzt az épületből folyamatosan furgonokkal szállították el.
A hatóságok hangsúlyozták, hogy a banda professzionális gépeket használt a pénznyomtatáshoz, és rendkívül jól szervezett volt: külső személyek vitték a hamisítóknak az ételt, így nem kellett soha elhagyniuk az épületet.
Nápoly és környéke a hamisítók hagyományos területének számít, egyebek között pénzt és útlevelet is professzionális minőségben képesek előállítani.
Az utóbbi öt évben tizenhat személyt tartóztattak le pénzhamisítás miatt, öt pénzverdét foglaltak le és hamis eurót százmillió értékben.

Egy fiatal pár holttestét találták meg egy autóban Nápolyban szombat reggel, akik feltehetően szén-monoxid-mérgezésben vesztették életüket. Egy garázsban parkolt az autó, benne a két fiatallal, akiken már nem lehetett segíteni. Az ANSA azt írja, a páros péntek este egy buliba tartottak, majd egy ideig a kocsiban töltötték az időt, miközben járt a motor.

Az ANSA jelentése szerint lövöldözés történt Nápolyban, a labdarúgó-bajnokság ünneplése során, melynek következtében egy 26 éves férfi életét vesztette, három másik ember pedig megsérült.
Sajtóértesülések szerint a 26 éves férfi, Vincenzo Costanzo nem volt ismeretlen a bűnüldöző szervek számára. A lap úgy tudja, az áldozathoz vélhetően közel álló emberek bevonultak a kórházba, és megrongálták a kórház sürgősségi osztályát.
Egy 26 éves nőt a bokáján ért egy lövés, állapota stabil; továbbá egy 24 és egy 20 éves fiatal is kórházba került lőtt sebekkel. A rendőrség közlése szerint egyelőre nem világos, hogy a lövéseket véletlenszerűen adták le az ünnepség alatt, vagy inkább célzott rajtaütés volt.
Gaetano Manfredi nápolyi polgármester a Radio Anch’io Radiouno műsorában beszélt a tragédiáról, s a beszélgetés elején leszögezte, csak óvatosan szabad beszélni a történtekről, “nehogy rossz üzenetet közvetítsünk”: „Ez a bekövetkezett haláleset egy olyan dinamikához kapcsolódik, melynek semmi köze a párthoz. Egy olyan személyről van szó, akinek jelentős büntetett előélete van. Valószínűleg egy leszámolás volt.”
