Három nappal a „nők elleni erőszak” elleni nemzetközi nap előtt több ezer tüntető vonult fel Franciaország szerte, hogy kifejezze haragját és szigorúbb fellépést követeljen a hatóságoktól.
A rendőrség szombat esti adatai szerint Párizsban a hideg ellenére 17 ezer, a feminista mozgalom szimbólumát, lila színt viselő tüntető gyűlt össze, és további 17 200-an tiltakoztak több tucat vidéki városban.
A tüntetéseket szervező egyesületek egy erőszak elleni törvény elfogadását követelik, amelynek végrehajtására 3 milliárd eurós költségvetési forrást kérnek, valamint azt, hogy ne csökkentsék tovább az áldozatokat segítő egyesületek finanszírozását.
Tüntetők táblákat tartanak a francia NousToutes (Mindannyian) nevű szervezet által meghirdetett demonstráción, amelyet a nők elleni erőszak elleni tiltakozásként tartottak 2025. november 22-én Párizsban, Franciaországban.
„2025-öt írunk: még mindig normális, hogy számoljuk a haláleseteinket?” – tette fel a kérdést a párizsi tüntetés kezdete előtt Sylvaine Grévin, a Nők elleni gyilkosságok áldozatainak nemzeti szövetsége elnöke, aki 2017-ben vesztette el testvérét.
A MIPROF egy kormányzati szervezet, amelynek feladata a nők védelme az erőszaktól és az emberkereskedelem elleni küzdelem. Csütörtökön közzétették a hivatalos adataikat, eszerint a házastársi gyilkosságok száma Franciaországban 2023 és 2024 között 11 százalékkal nőtt, ebben az időszakban 107 nőt ölt meg házastársa vagy volt házastársa.
Ezek a számok „teljesen alulbecsültek”, mert „elfelejtik a kényszerített öngyilkosságokat” – állította Sylvaine Grévin.
Franciaországban kétpercenként válik egy nő erőszak, erőszakos kísérlet vagy szexuális zaklatás áldozatává, 23 másodpercenként pedig szexuális zaklatás, szexuális exhibicionizmus vagy nem kívánt szexuális tartalmú üzenetek küldésének áldozatává – közölte a MIPROF.
Az MTI beszámolója alapján az Európa Tanács szeptemberben sürgős intézkedések meghozatalára szólította fel Párizst, mert aggasztónak tartja, hogy a Franciaországban történt erőszakos bűncselekmények elkövetői ellen csak alacsony arányban indul büntetőeljárás.
A nők és férfiak közötti egyenlőségért felelős miniszterhelyettes, Aurore Bergé nemrég bejelentette, hogy november végén kerettörvényt terjeszt be erről a témáról.
Ezt a bejelentést azonban kétkedéssel fogadták egyes szervezetek, amelyek szerint ez csupán egy kommunikációs akció a november 25-i, a nők elleni erőszak elleni nemzetközi nap alkalmából, miközben a szükséges pénzügyi források még nem állnak rendelkezésre.

Több száz tüntető, főleg nők gyűltek össze a párizsi Place de la Republique-n azért, hogy kiálljanak a szexuális erőszak áldozatai és a 72 éves Gisèle Pélicot mellett. A nő férje, Dominique Pélicot közel tíz éven át nagy dózisú nyugtatókat adott be feleségének, hogy aztán az öntudatlan nővel interneten toborzott férfiak folytassanak szexuális aktust, írja a SkyNews.
A demonstrálók nem üres kézzel érkeztek a térre, a tábláikon olyan feliratok szerepeltek, mint: „Áldozatok, hiszünk nektek, nemi erőszaktevők, látunk titeket!”
Nemcsak a fővárosban, de más francia városokban, például Marseille-ben is szervezték tüntetést szombatra a Palais de Justice előtt, amin mintegy kétszázan vettek részt. Köztük a 41 éves Lou Salome Patouillard művésznő is, aki felszólalásában a következőket mondta: „Azért vagyok itt, hogy támogassam Gisèle-t és minden nőt, mivel sok Gisèle van, túl sok Gisèle”.
Gisèle és Dominique Pélicot ötven évig voltak házasok, három közös gyermekük van, Provence-ban töltötték a nyugdíjas éveket, amikor 2020 végén a Gisèle-t váratlanul beidézték egy dél-franciaországi rendőrőrsre. A nő ekkor szembesült azzal, ki is valójában a férje és mi tett vele az elmúlt években.
A Dominique elleni nyomozás során több mint 20 ezer videó és fénykép került elő, amik precízen rendszerezve voltak egy „Bántalmazás” nevű mappában. A feleség az erőszakokból semmire nem emlékezett, a vádlottak közül is csak egyet ismert fel, az egyik szomszédjukat.

Ausztrália-szerte tüntetéseket tartottak a nők elleni erőszakhullám miatt. Ausztráliában idén eddig átlagosan minden negyedik nap megöltek egy nőt. A tüntetők szigorúbb törvényeket követelnek, és azt, hogy a nemi alapú erőszakot nyilvánítsák nemzeti vészhelyzetnek.
A fővárosban, Canberrában tartott felvonuláson, amelyen több ezer tüntető vett részt, Anthony Albanese miniszterelnök elmondta, hogy szerinte a kérdés nemzeti válsághelyzetet jelent, és elismerte, hogy a kormánynak minden szinten jobban kell teljesítenie – írja a BBC.
Meg kell változtatnunk a kultúrát, a hozzáállást, a jogrendszert és a kormány megközelítését. Biztosítanunk kell, hogy ez nem a nőkön múlik, hanem a férfiakon, hogy a férfiak viselkedését is megváltoztassuk – tette hozzá a miniszterelnök.
A tiltakozók azon felhívására, hogy a nők elleni erőszakot nemzeti vészhelyzetnek minősítsék, Albanese azt mondta, hogy ezt a minősítést általában árvizek vagy bozóttüzek idején alkalmazzák.
Ausztrália szövetségi főügyésze, Mark Dreyfus elutasította, hogy királyi bizottságot hozzanak létre a nemi alapú erőszak ügyében.
A miniszterelnök többször is járványnak nevezte a nemi alapú erőszakot, de ez nem újdonság: 2021-ben országszerte felvonulások zajlottak a parlamentben és a társadalmon belüli szexuális visszaélések vádjai miatt.
Adelaide-ben a becslések szerint mintegy 3000 ember gyűlt össze szombaton a város parlamentje előtt. Brisbane-ben, Melbourne-ben, Gold Coast-ban és Newcastle-ben is tiltakozások zajlottak pénteken és szombaton.
A közelmúltban történt gyilkosságok ismét a figyelem középpontjába helyezték a kérdést, ugyanis a hónap elején egy férfi hat embert késelt halálra egy sydney-i bevásárlóközpontban. Az áldozatok közül öt nő volt, és a rendőrség vizsgálja, hogy vajon ők voltak-e a célpont.
Karen Webb, az új-dél-walesi rendőrség megbízottja szerint „az elkövető a nőkre összpontosított, és elkerülte a férfiakat”.
A tüntetések egybeestek azzal, hogy vádat emeltek egy férfi ellen a 30 éves, négygyermekes anya, Erica Hay állítólagos meggyilkolásával, akit holtan találtak egy háztűz után Perthben a hónap elején. A Destroy the Joint nevű kampánycsoport által összeállított adatok szerint 2024 első 119 napjában összesen 27 nőt öltek meg.

Huszonhét embert meggyilkoltak, köztük nőket és gyerekeket is egy nőnapi rendezvényen Burkina Faso egyik falujában – közölték vasárnap szemtanúk.
A vérengzést pénteken követték el az ország keleti felében található Koulpélogo tartomány Tissaoghin nevű falujában. A történtek idején az országot vezető junta feje, Ibrahim Traoré éppen csapatlátogatást tett a közeli Tenkodogo és Bagré településen.
Traoré a hadsereg tagjainak mondott beszédében arra bíztatta a katonákat, hogy tevékenyen lépjenek fel az országot terrorizáló iszlamista milíciákkal szemben.
Burkina Faso, Mali és Niger hármashatárának közelében számos iszlamista csoport tevékenykedik, amelyek közül egyesek az Iszlám Állam, mások az al-Kaida terrorszervezet szövetségesei.
Burkina Fasóban 2022 őszén történt puccs óta katonai vezetés van hatalmon. A kormányerők a 23 milliós nyugat-afrikai ország mintegy felét tartják ellenőrzésük alatt.

Egy 16 éves lányt úgy szúrtak le és vertek agyon egy utcában Delhiben, hogy a gyalogosok mellette mentek el. Az újabb támadás felháborodást váltott ki és felveti a nők biztonságával kapcsolatos aggodalmakat a világ legnépesebb országában − számolt be az Index a The Guardian-ra hivatkozva.
Az esetről készült felvételeken látható, hogy a tinédzsert nyilvánosan szólította le egy férfi − a rendőrség szerint a 20 éves Sahil Khan −, aki több mint 30-szor megszúrta, majd egy betonlappal kezdte ütlegelni.
Az incidensnek több járókelő is szemtanúja volt, és bár az egyik férfi megpróbált közbelépni, de a támadó erőszakosan visszaverte. Ezután semmi mást nem tett, hogy megállítsa. Senki sem hívta a rendőrséget, és a gyilkosság után a nő holtteste érintetlenül hevert a sikátorban, amíg egy rendőrségi informátor harminc perccel később észre nem vette.
A rendőrség szerint Khannak kapcsolata volt a lánnyal, és elhatározta, hogy megöli, miután az véget akart vetni annak. Állítólag egy két héttel korábban vásárolt kést használt, és követte a lányt a piacról a sötét sikátorba, ahol megtámadta.
A támadás felháborodást váltott ki aktivisták és politikusok körében, akik azt követelték, hogy tegyenek többet a nők védelmében a fővárosban. Delhi első minisztere, Arvind Kejriwal a Twitteren közölte: „Egy kiskorú lányt brutálisan meggyilkoltak a nyílt utcán Delhiben. Ez nagyon szomorú és sajnálatos. A bűnözők teljesen felbátorodtak, és a rendőrségtől sem félnek.”
Swati Maliwal, a Delhi Női Bizottságának munkatársa szerint a főváros „rendkívül veszélyessé” vált a lányok és nők számára. „Nagyon sokan voltak jelen, amikor a gyilkosság történt, de senki sem segített. Lehet, hogy még ha csak kiabáltak volna, akkor is túlélhette volna” − mondta Maliwal.
Az eset ismét felvetette a nők biztonságának kérdését Indiában, különösen a párkapcsolati erőszak esetében. Novemberben hasonló felháborodást váltott ki, hogy egy 28 éves férfit azzal vádoltak, hogy barátnőjét megölte majd feldarabolta.
Az országos statisztikák szerint a nők elleni erőszak problémája nem csökken India mélyen patriarchális társadalmában. Delhi a nők számára legveszélyesebb városnak számít Indiában, és 2020 és 2021 között a Nemzeti Bűnügyi Nyilvántartó Iroda szerint 40 százalékkal nőtt a nők elleni bűncselekmények száma.
