Lysak szerint csaknem egy tucat többemeletes épület, öt magánház és egy melléképület rongálódott meg a városban. Emellett két oktatási intézmény, több kávézó és üzlet, három közigazgatási épület és egy gyógyszertár. Megrongálódtak az autók és az elektromos vezetékek is.

A Dnyipropetrovszk megyei Nyikopolban egy ismeretlen személy rálőtt Vitalij Zsuravljovnak, a városi tanács alelnökének autójára – jelentette az Ukrajinszka Pravada (UP) igazságügyi forrásaira és a nemzeti rendőrségre való hivatkozással.
A rendkívüli esemény az alelnök házának közelében történt. Az UP forrása szerint az egyik fő elképzelés, hogy a történtek az áldozat és egy helyi csoportosulás között 2017 óta húzódó konfliktusra vezethetők vissza.
„Február 8-án 9 óra körül érkezett a rendőrségre a bejelentés, hogy egy ismeretlen személy rálőtt a nyikopoli tanács alelnökének tulajdonát képező személygépkocsira. A helyszínen a rendőrök megállapították, hogy a támadó ismeretlen fegyvert használt, minek következtében az autó kigyulladt. A tűz eloltása után az utastérben egy 59 éves férfi holttestét fedezték fel.
A regionális rendőrség teljes állománya a gyanúsított felkutatására lett összpontosítva. A fegyveres támadó őrizetbe vételére kivonultak a helyszínre a megyei rendőrség vezetése, a KORD különleges erői és valamennyi rendfenntartó struktúra” – közölte a rendőrség.
