Új büntetőeljárást kezdeményeztek Oleg Navalnij, a börtönben elhunyt orosz ellenzéki politikus, Alekszej Navalnij fivére ellen – jelentette kedden a TASZSZ.
Az orosz állami hírügynökség nem közölte, hogy a büntető törvénykönyv melyik cikke alapján indult meg az eljárás, csak annyit írt, hogy a rendőrség nyomoz Oleg Navalnij után, aki egy másik ügy miatt már szerepel a körözött személyek listáján. 2014-ben Oleg Navalnijt csalás címén 3 és fél évi börtönre ítélték, amivel a Kreml bírálói szerint nyomást akartak gyakorolni a testvérére.
Néhány nappal Alekszej Navalnij halála után Vlagyimir Putyin orosz elnök a belügyminisztérium vezérezredesévé léptette elő Valerij Bojarinyevet, az orosz Szövetségi Büntetés-végrehajtási Szolgálat (FSzIN) helyettes vezetőjét.
A Navalnij által alapított Korrupcióellenes Alapítvány igazgatója kedden azt írta a Telegram üzenetküldő alkalmazáson, hogy Bojarinyev személyesen volt felelős Navalnij megkínzásáért a börtönben. „Világosan látni kell, hogy Putyin a kínzást jutalmazta” – írta Ivan Zsdanov Bojarinyev előléptetése kapcsán.

Egyévi felfüggesztett szabadságvesztésre ítélte egy moszkvai bíróság pénteken Oleg Navalnijt, Alekszej Navalnij ellenzéki politikus öccsét, amiért a járványügyi korlátozásokat megszegve részt vett az elítélt bátyja szabadon bocsátását követelő tüntetések szervezésében.
Ugyanilyen vád alapján nemrég a Navalnij alapította Korrupcióellenes Küzdelem Alapítványa két munkatársát is elítélték, egyikük egy, másikuk mozgását pedig másfél évig korlátozták. Ez azt jelenti, hogy éjszakára nem hagyhatják el a lakhelyüket és Moszkvából sem mehetnek el.
Egyikük, Ljubov Szobol ügyvédnő jelöltként akart indulni a szeptemberi parlamenti választáson, ám kampányát fel kellett függesztenie, miután a Navalnij-alapítványt a bíróság szélsőségesnek minősítette és betiltotta. Az ilyen szervezetek tagjai pedig nem indulhatnak a választásokon.
Alekszej Navalnij jelenleg két és fél éves szabadságvesztését tölti.
