Legalább húsz áldozata van egy öngyilkos merénylő robbantásának egy damaszkuszi templomban – közölték a szíriai egészségügyi hatóságok és biztonsági források.
A SANA szíriai hírügynökség az egészségügyi minisztériumra hivatkozva 52 sebesültről jelentett. A tájékoztatás szerint a merénylő vasárnap robbantott a szír főváros zömében keresztények lakta Dveila negyedében lévő Szent Illés görög ortodox templomban.
Ez az első, keresztények ellen irányuló öngyilkos terrorcselekmény Damaszkuszban Bassár el-Aszad szíriai elnök tavaly decemberben történt megbuktatása óta.
A szíriai belügyminisztérium arról számolt be, hogy az elkövető az Iszlám Állam terrorszervezet tagja volt, aki az imaházba belépve tüzet nyitott a bent tartózkodókra, majd működésbe hozza a testére erősített robbanószerkezetet.
Egy névtelenséget kérő biztonsági forrás szerint két támadó volt, akik egyike volt a robbantó is.
Hamza al-Musztafa távközlési miniszter a terrorcselekmény kapcsán kijelentette, hogy az egy „gyáva cselekedet, amely ellentmond az állampolgári értékeknek, amelyek mindannyiunkat egyesítenek”. Hozzátette, hogy az állam minden tőle telhetőt elkövet „a bűnszervezetek elleni harcban”.

A Beludzsisztán tartománybeli Huzdánban történt robbanásban a halálos áldozatok mellett sokan megsebesültek – írta a hadsereg közleményében.
A busz utasai közül 38 gyermek állapota súlyos, emiatt az egészségügyi hatóságok attól tartanak, hogy tovább nő a halálos áldozatok száma.
A pokolgépes támadást öngyilkos merénylő követte el. Jasir Ikbal, a helyi közigazgatás egyik illetékese elmondta, hogy a busz egy olyan iskolába szállította a gyerekeket, amelyet a hadsereg tart fenn. A helyszínre gyorsan kiérkező katonák kordonnal körbe zárták a robbanás helyszínét, a sérültekhez pedig sok mentőautót riasztottak.
Mohszin Nakvi belügyminiszter szigorúan elítélte a támadást, és mély szomorúságának adott hangot a gyermekek halála miatt.
A gyilkos merénylet elkövetőit vadállatoknak nevezte, akik semmilyen kíméletet nem érdemelnek. A merénylet elkövetőjeként a Beludzsisztáni Felszabadítási Hadsereg (BLA) jelentkezett, de a szakadár szervezet azt állította, hogy a buszon csak katonák voltak. A BLA fegyveresei márciusban is megtámadtak egy olyan buszt, amely katonákat és családtagjaikat szállította, és merényletüknek akkor tucatnyi halálos áldozata volt.

Vasárnap este robbanás történt egy rendőrségi épületben Odessza megyében, három rendőr megsebesült, egy nő pedig meghalt, az Ukrán Biztonsági Szolgálat (SZBU) terrortámadásként kezeli az esetet – számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál az SZBU Odessza megyei főosztályának Facebook-oldalára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint „az SZBU terrortámadási kísérletnek minősíti az odesszai rendőrség épületében március 23-án történt robbanást, és már elindította a megfelelő büntetőeljárást”. A nyomozás adatai szerint a robbanás 18 óra körül történt, miután egy nő bement a rendőrőrsre egy csomaggal, amely az előzetes információk szerint robbanóanyagot tartalmazhatott. Ismeretes, hogy a nő azonnal meghalt.
„Három rendőr csak könnyebb sérüléseket szenvedett. Orvosi segítséget nyújtottak nekik” – jegyezte meg az SZBU. A titkosszolgálat nyomozói átvizsgálták a helyszínt. Ezenkívül az SZBU és a Nemzeti Rendőrség átfogó intézkedéseket foganatosít a robbanás körülményeinek és az abban érintett személyeknek a feltárására.
„Az ukrán büntetőtörvénykönyv 258. cikkelye (terrorcselekmény) alapján folyik az előzetes vizsgálat. A nyomozás további részleteiről később adunk további tájékoztatást” – foglalta össze az SZBU.

Egy öngyilkos merénylő robbantotta fel magát az afganisztáni tálib kormány egyik minisztériumának épületénél, aminek következtében a támadó mellett egy ember életét vesztette, további hárman pedig megsérültek – közölte csütörtökön egy kormányzati szóvivő.
A merénylő a kabuli városfejlesztési és lakásügyi minisztérium épületébe próbált behatolni.
A biztonsági őrök lelőtték, mielőtt bejutott volna, de még működésbe tudta hozni a testére erősített robbanószerkezetet.
A héten ez már a második robbantásos merénylet volt Afganisztánban. Kedden az északi Kunduz tartományban robbantotta fel magát egy támadó egy bankfiók előtt. A detonációban öt ember vesztette életét. Szerdán az Iszlám Állam terrorszervezet jelezte: egyik harcosa követte el a merényletet.
Afganisztánban a szélsőséges tálibok 2021. augusztusi hatalomra kerülése óta jelentősen csökkent ugyan az öngyilkos merényletek száma, de az Iszlám Állam továbbra is jelen van, és időről időre elkövet robbantásokat.
