A tájékoztatás szerint a tűz következtében Kujeda településén leégett egy lakóépület és egy nem lakhatási célokat szolgáló ház, valamint több melléképület.
A gázvezetéken 15 centiméteres lék keletkezett, szúrólángszerű tüzet okozva. A lángok eloltására, amelyek átkaptak a környező épületekre, 71 tűzoltót mozgósítottak, illetve 23 járművet, valamint egy tűzoltó vonatot is.
A katasztrófavédelmi hivatal szerint halálos áldozatok nem voltak, de nyolcan megsérültek, közülük öten kórházi kezelésre szorulnak.
