 A rendőrségi jelentés szerint „az oroszbarát nézeteket valló két oktatási dolgozó nyíltan támogatta az Oroszország Ukrajna elleni fellépését. A Velikoburlucki Területi Közösség településeinek elfoglalását követő első naptól kezdve együttműködtek az ellenséggel.”
  
 
 
 
 Az oktatási intézmény igazgatója megszervezte az oktatási folyamatot az Oroszországi Föderáció tanterve szerint, és orosz mintájú tankönyveket kapott a megszálló hatóságoktól. Az igazgató elrendelte az összes ukrán tankönyvek megsemmisítését is. A települési tanács oktatási osztályának szakembere kampánymunkát végzett az oktatási intézmények dolgozói és a helyi lakosok körében. Elmondta az orosz propagandistáknak, hogy 2014 óta arra várt arra, hogy a régiót Oroszország elcsatolja.
 A rendőrök mindkét pedagógust őrizetbe vették, és már meg is gyanúsították őket kollaboráns tevékenységgel. Az igazgatót három évig, az oktatásirányítási szakembert 12 évig terjedő szabadságvesztés fenyegeti.
