A belgiumi Tournai-ban több mint száz palesztinbarát aktivista betört az Ukrajna számára katonai felszereléseket gyártó OIP Land Systems cég raktáraiba, és megrongálta az eszközöket. Valószínűleg azt hitték, hogy a fegyvereket Izraelbe szállítják, számolt be a belga 7sur7 és az izraeli Israel Hayom kiadvány.
A közel 150 aktivista fehér overálban és maszkban rontott be a cég telephelyére a „Hagyják abba Izrael felfegyverzését” kampány keretein belül.
Az akció során azt követelték a belga hatóságoktól, hogy tartsák be az Izraellel szembeni katonai embargót, és vezessenek be szankciókat ellene.
A cég vezérigazgatója, Freddy Versluijs szerint a kalapácsokkal és darálókkal felfegyverzett tüntetők először az irodákba hatoltak be, ahol számítógépeket törtek össze. Ezt követően a hangárok felé vették az irányt, ahol több járművet megrongáltak.
Ennek eredményeként az OIP Land Systems soron következő segélyszállítmánya Ukrajnának legalább egy hónappal késik. A teljes kárt körülbelül egymillió euróra becsülik. Versluijs kijelentette, panaszt fog tenni az aktivisták ellen.
A céget a palesztinbarát tüntetők azért vették célba, mert az Elbit Systems egy nagy izraeli védelmi vállalat tulajdonában van. A tüntetők úgy vélik, hogy az Elbit szállítja az Izraeli Védelmi Erők által használt drónok 85%-át és a szárazföldi katonai felszerelések nagy részét.
Az OIP Land Systems vezérigazgatója azonban hangsúlyozza, hogy cége több mint 20 éve nem gyárt védelmi rendszereket Izrael számára.

Palesztinpárti tüntetők betörtek pénteken a New York-i Brooklyn Múzeum épületébe, de a rendőrség megakadályozta őket abban, hogy az aulánál tovább jussanak, és őrizetbe vett 34-et közülük – közölték hivatalosan.
Az Izrael-ellenes aktivisták az épület előtt megrongáltak többet a szabadban kiállított tárgyak közül, erőszakosan viselkedtek a személyzet tagjaival, és sátrakat állítottak föl az aulában.
Az engedély nélküli tiltakozás pénteken kora délután kezdődött azzal, hogy több százan felvonultak a metropolisz Brooklyn városrészében, palesztin zászlókat lengettek, jelszavakat kiáltoztak, doboltak, és a múzeumhoz érve kifeszítettek egy transzparenst a főépületre. Ezután a tüntetés szervezői felszólították a résztvevőket, hogy szállják meg az épületet, és maradjanak ott mindaddig, amíg a fenntartó nyilvánosságra nem hozza az Izraelhez fűződő pénzügyi kapcsolatait, illetve meg nem szüntet minden ilyen jellegű gazdasági összefonódást.
A rendőrök először felszólították a tüntetőket, hogy távozzanak, de miután ez nem használt, erőszakot alkalmaztak.
Az 1823-ban alapított Brooklyn Múzeum New York város második legnagyobb kiállítóhelye. Taylor Maatman szóvivő a történtekkel kapcsolatban elmondta, hogy a látogatók és az intézményben kiállított tárgyak biztonsága érdekében pénteken kénytelenek voltak korábban bezárni, ennek ellenére a tüntetők több a szabadban kiállított tárgyat megrongáltak.

Palesztinpárti aktivisták újabb egyetem, a Fordham területén kezdtek tüntetést New Yorkban szerdán, miután a hatóságok előző éjszaka felszámolták a Columbia Egyetemen kialakított törvénytelen sátortábort.
A Fordham Egyetem néhány utcányira fekszik a Columbia épületeitől.
A tiltakozást a Diákok az Igazságért Palesztinában nevű országos aktivistaszervezet helyi csoportja vezeti. A Fordham Egyetem területén úgynevezett „Gáza Szolidaritási Tábort” létesítettek, ahol egy „Diák intifáda” feliratú transzparenst feszítettek ki.
Közleményük szerint azt követelik a felsőoktatási intézmény vezetőségétől, hogy „hagyjon fel annak a retorikának a támogatásával, amely fenntartja a cionizmust az egyetemen”. Emellett követelik a kapcsolatok megszüntetését minden izraeli érdekeltséggel, ideértve a jeruzsálemi Héber Egyetemet.
A Fordham vezetése felszólította a tüntetőket, hogy számolják fel a szabályellenesen létrehozott táborukat, valamint a rendbontásban részt vevő diákok hallgatói jogviszonyát felfüggesztette.
Kedden késő este a rendőrség ürítette ki a Columbia Egyetem egyik főépületét, a Hamilton Hallt, amelyet a tiltakozók erőszakkal foglaltak el. Az intézkedés során mintegy 230 embert vettek őrizetbe. Szerdán a Columbia Egyetem területén már nem volt tüntetés, de az intézmény bejáratánál ismét demonstráció kezdődött.
Szerdán a Nevadai Egyetem Las Vegas-i területén is megjelentek az Izrael ellen tüntetők.
Közben egy másik intézmény, a Rhode Island állambeli Brown Egyetem közölte: megállapodott a tüntetőkkel arról, hogy felszámolják az intézmény területén kialakított sátortábort, cserébe az egyetem vezetése ősszel szavazást tart az Izraellel fenntartott kapcsolatok megszakításáról.
Los Angelesben a Kaliforniai Egyetemen szerdán tanítási szünetet rendeltek el, miután éjszaka összeverekedtek a palesztinpárti tüntetők és az Izraelt támogató csoportok. A szembenállás azt követően vált erőszakossá, hogy az Izraellel szolidaritást vállaló csoport tagjai megpróbálták elbontani a palesztinpártiak tiltakozótáborát. A zavargás nyomán többeket őrizetbe vettek.
