A gyújtogatók Izrael ellenes szlogeneket firkáltak az épület falára, de a tűzoltók gyorsan megfékezték a lángokat.
Gyújtogatás áldozatává vált a városháza a csütörtök éjjel Berlin-Tiergartenben és az ismeretlen elkövetők a falakat is összemázolták Izrael ellenes szlogenekkel.
Noha a tűzoltók gyorsan eloltották a lángokat, a Bild szerint jelentős károk keletkeztek és bár a tűz okát még nem tisztázták, azt úgy tűnik, hogy Molotov-koktél okozhatta.
Az épület falain pedig friss feliratok tanúskodtak a támadók szándékairól. Olyan szlogenek szerepeltek a falakon, mint „Ha Gáza ég, Berlin is égni fog!” vagy „Szabadságot Gázának”, „Szabadságot a Hamásznak”. A támadók további gyújtogatást is kilátásba helyeztek.
