Több tucat parlamenti képviselő hirtelen megbetegedése miatt a Legfelső Tanács csütörtökön egyetlen törvényjavaslatot sem tárgyalt, a közegészségügyi szolgálat jelenleg sürgősségi ellenőrzést végez a parlamenti étkezdében, hogy megpróbálja megállapítani a megbetegedések okát – számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál a Szuszpilne tévécsatornára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint a parlamenti képviselők tömeges panaszairól szóló jelentések után járványügyi vizsgálatot indítottak a parlamentben. Az egészségügyi és járványügyi szolgálat szakemberei már mintákat vesznek az élelmiszerekből a parlamenti étkezdében laboratóriumi vizsgálatokhoz, és kikérdezik a betegeket az étrendjükről.
A Legfelső Tanács sajtóosztálya szerint két fő változatot feltételeznek: rotavírus-járványt vagy akut bélfertőzést. A végleges következtetéseket csak a vizsgálatok eredményeinek kézhezvétele után hozzák nyilvánosságra. Parlamenti források megerősítik, hogy a betegek száma körülbelül két tucat emberre tehető. Minden betegnél azonos tünetek jelentkeznek: magas láz és hányás. Az ételmérgezés verziója azonban nem az egyetlen.
A kór mely verzióit feltételezik jelenleg: ételmérgezés – egyes képviselők az állapotukat az étkezde látogatásának tulajdonítják, és jelenleg is folyamatban vannak ott az ellenőrzések; vírusfertőzés – néhány beteg egyáltalán nem ebédelt a Legfelső Tanácsban, csak kávét vagy vizet ittak. Ez okot ad arra, hogy feltételezzük, hogy a rotavírust kívülről is behurcolhatták, például háztartási kontaktusokból (óvodák stb.).

A Korrupcióellenes Szakosított Ügyészség (SZAP) szerint a teljes körű háború kezdete után a parlamenti képviselők borítékban kapott fizetése 1-2 ezer dollárról 5 ezer dollárra emelkedtek, a SZAP 41 parlament képviselőt gyanúsította meg – jelentette ki hétfőn Olekszandr Klimenko, a SZAP vezetője az Ukrinform hírügynökségnek nyilatkozva, számolt be az Ukrajinszka Pravda hírportál.
A jelentés szerint Klimenko elmondta: „Adataink szerint a 2022-es teljes körű invázió kezdete után a képviselők egy ideig nem kaptak borítékban fizetéseket. Amikor megtudtuk, hogy újraindultak, folytattuk a munkát ebben az irányban.” Szerinte amikor újraindultak a borítékban történő kifizetések, a képviselők havi 1-2 ezer dollárt kaptak azért, hogy a parlamentben bizonyos törvényjavaslatokról szavaztak.
„Ezután a kifizetések 5000 dollárra emelkedtek. Büntetéseket is kiszabhattak. Ezután a „fizetést” 3000 dollárra csökkentették” – jegyezte meg a SZAP vezetője. Emlékeztetett, hogy a képviselők ellen az első büntetőeljárást Irina Venediktova volt főügyész indította hivatali idejének végén, a 2021 végén beérkezett nyilatkozatok alapján. „Ez volt az első epizód, amelyet kivizsgáltak” – mondta.
Klimenko hozzátette, hogy a teljes körű invázió előtt voltak időszakok, amikor a borítékban kifizetett összegek elérték a havi 20 000 dollárt. Megjegyezte, hogy a SZAP összesen 41 parlamenti képviselőt gyanúsította meg. A korrupcióellenes szervek működésének megkezdése óta eltelt tíz évben 79 volt és jelenlegi képviselőt gyanúsítottak meg.

A strasbourgi állomáson parkoló vonatról robbanást hallottak többen. Füst szabadult fel az állomáson, a vonat utasait evakuálták.
Egy Brüsszel felé tartó vonaton egyes beszámolók szerint robbanás történt. A járművön európai parlamenti képviselők és parlamenti alkalmazottak is tartózkodtak. Az állomáson rekedt utasok közül Emmanuel Foulon, az Európai Parlament szóvivője, akit telefonon értek el, arról számolt be, hogy meglehetősen nagy robbanást hallott, és fekete füstöt látott – számol be a France 3.
A tűzoltók ugyanakkor „nem túl aggasztó” eseményről számoltak be eddig. Az utasokat evakuálták. Az SNCF szerint azonban a forgalom megszakadt, és csak 18 órakor indul újra. A Politico szerint az Eurostar vonatot kifejezetten az EP bérelte, míg Pelle Geertsen, a Baloldal dán tisztviselője szerint az evakuáció kaotikus volt. A képviselőket és stábjukat arra kérték, hogy egy közeli alagútban várakozzanak.
Az egy képviselő munkatársa szerint senki nem sérült meg a történtek során. Az EP Strasbourgban és Brüsszelben is tart ülkéseket, a vonat a két város között szállította volna a képviselőket és stábjukat. Az EP közleménye szerint technikai hiba okozta a robbanást és dolgoznak azon, hogy alternatív közlekedési megoldást biztosítsanak a képviselőknek. A különvonatra 750-en jegyet foglalta le a képviselők és asszisztenseik.
