Az Európai Bírósághoz fordul a New York Times, miután az Európai Bizottság nem adja ki a bizottság elnöke, Ursula Von der Leyen és a Pfizer vezérigazgatója, Albert Bourla közötti üzeneteket, amelyek olyan üzletekről is tartalmaznak információkat, mikor a több milliárd euró értékben vásárolt vakcinákról esett szó – számol be erről a Politico.
A keresetet 25-én nyújtották be, és hétfőn tették közzé az Európai Bíróság nyilvános nyilvántartásában, de további információk egyelőre még nem érhetők el online.
Az egész ügy még 2022 januárjában indult el, mikor a német Netzpolitik újságírója, Alexander Fanta kérelmezte, hogy nyilvánosságra hozzák a vakcinavásárlásokról szóló üzenetek részleteit, ezt azonban a bizottság nem teljesítette. Ezután indított hivatalos vizsgálatot az európai ombudsman, Emily O’Reilly, aki megállapította, hogy a bizottságtól jogszerűtlen lépés volt az, hogy nem tették nyilvánossá ezeket a közérdekű információkat.
A Netzpolitik mellett a Bild is egy sor keresetet nyújtott be a Bizottság ellen, amelyben a Pfizer/BioNTech és az AstraZeneca által gyártott Covid-19-vakcinák megvásárlásáról szóló tárgyalásokkal kapcsolatos dokumentumok nyilvánosságra hozatalát kérte, de a bíróságok elutasították a német napilap legtöbb beadványát. Néhány dokumentumhoz azonban sikerült hozzájutniuk, például egy 2020 júniusában kezdődő emaillevelezéshez.
A New York Times nem kívánta kommentálni az ügyet, míg Vera Jourová, az uniós értékekért és átláthatóságért felelős biztos a perrel kapcsolatos kérdésre azt válaszolta, hogy az üzeneteket valószínűleg törölhették.

Az egykori dolgozóról annyit lehet tudni, hogy kínai származású, Chun Xiao Li-nek hívják, pozíciója szerint statisztikai igazgató volt, és 15 év után ő mondott fel a cégnél, hogy átigazoljon egy versenytárshoz, a Xencorhoz, ahová egy halom titkos dokumentumot is vitt volna magával. A rák elleni gyógymódok fejlesztésével, illetve az autoimmun-betegségek gyógyításával foglalkozó céget nem perelték be, és nem is nyilatkoztak az ügyben.
Az anyagok között szerepel egy szeptember 24-ei jegyzőkönyv, amely belső ajánlásokat fogalmaz meg a vakcina fejlesztéséről, továbbá az mRNS technológiának a rákkutatásban való lehetséges alkalmazásáról. A vállalat szerint Li viselkedésével megtévesztette őket, és megpróbálta eltüntetni a tolvajlása nyomait is.
A Pfizer üzleti titok eltulajdonítása címen perelte be a férfit, az ügyet a San Diego-i szövetségi bíróság kezeli. A tárgyalást december 9-re tűzték ki – értesült a Reuters.
A VG korábban írt arról, hogy a Pfizer nem akarta kiadni a vakcinájának dollármilliárdokat érő titkait. A vakcinagyártás az év üzletének bizonyult. A gyógyszeripari vállalatok nem tervezik feladni szellemi tulajdonjogukat, inkább alternatív utat választanak, hogy eleget tegyenek a forgalmazás bővítésére vonatkozó kéréseknek.

A gyógyszergyártó képviselője közölte, hogy a COVID elleni vakcinájukkal beoltottak egészségügyi problémáit nem okozhatta az oltóanyag.
Az amerikai Pfizer gyógyszergyár, amely a német BioNTech céggel együtt hozta létre az egyik koronavírus elleni oltóanyagot kommentálta COVID elleni vakcinációt követő halálesetet Vinnyicában – közölte a Reuters a Pfizer nyilatkozatára hivatkozva.
A társaság részvétét fejezte ki az elhunyt ukrán férfi családjának, és egyúttal kihangsúlyozta, hogy hivatalosan nincs kapcsolat a vakcináció és a férfi halála között.
„Gondolunk az elhunyt családjára. Nagyon komolyan vesszük azokat a mellékhatásokat, amelyek potenciálisan kapcsolódhatnak a COVID-19 elleni vakcinánkhoz, a BNT162b2-hez. Megjegyezzük, hogy ebben az esetben semmilyen ok-okozati összefüggést nem állapítottunk meg”, – áll a Pfizer nyilatkozatában.
A cégnél hozzátették, hogy a oltóanyagukkal beoltottak egészségügyi problémáit nem a vakcina okozza.
„Ma világszerte több mint 400 millió embert oltottak be oltóanyagunkkal. Fontos megjegyezni, hogy a vakcinától független súlyos mellékhatások sajnos ugyanolyan gyors ütemben jelentkezhetnek, mint az általában”, – áll a közleményben.
Ukrajnában július 2-án regisztrálták az első halálesetet, amely a koronavírus elleni oltást követően következett be – egy 47 éves vinnyicai lakos négy órával a Pfizer/BioNTech oltóanyaggal való vakcinációt követően meghalt.

Meghalt egy 47 éves férfi Vinnica megyében négy órával azt követően, hogy Pfizer koronavírus elleni vakcinával oltották be, de az egészségügyi hatóságok szerint semmilyen összefüggést nem állapítottak meg a vakcináció és az illető halála között – adta hírül a korrespondent.net hírportál pntek este az Egészségügyi Minisztérium közlésére hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint a férfi 13:45 órakor kapta meg a védőoltást, és a következő egy órában semmilyen panasza nem volt. Azonban 17:00 órakor émelygés kezdődött nála, majd elvesztette az eszméletét. A kiérkező orvosok egy órán át próbálták újraéleszteni, de 18:02 órakor már csak a halál beálltát tudták konstatálni.
Az eset kapcsán az egészségügyi tárcánál hangsúlyozták, hogy hivatalosan semmilyen összefüggést nem állapítottak meg a vakcináció és a férfi halála között. A Vinnica megyei egészségügyi főosztály közlése szerint, hogy azon személyek közül, akik az elhunyttal azonos flakonból kapták az oltást, senkinek nincs panasza, és mindegyiküknek jó az egészségi állapota. Mindazonáltal a halálesetet kedvezőtlen eseményként regisztrálták, mert az a vakcinációt követő 30 napon belül történt.

Hamisított koronavírus elleni vakcinákat fedeztek fel Lengyelországban és Mexikóban – írta a The Wall Street Journal szerdán. A Pfizer/BioNTech-címkékkel ellátott, hamisított oltóanyagokat egymástól független nyomozásban foglalták le a két ország hatóságai.
Lengyelországban egy ránctalanító folyadék volt az üvegcsékben, amelyeket még januárban foglalták le egy férfi lakásán. A hatóságok szerint senkit sem oltottak be a szerrel.
Mexikóban ezzel szemben nagyjából nyolcvan embert oltottak be a hamis készítménnyel egy helyi klinikán, dózisonként ezer dolláros áron.
Az érintetteknél eddig nem tapasztaltak egészségügyi problémákat. Az országban emellett egy szállítmány állítólagos Szputnyik V vakcina ügyében zajlik a nyomozás.

Hongkong ideiglenesen felfüggesztette a Pfizer/BioNTech-féle koronavírus elleni vakcina használatát, miután a gyártó jelezte, hogy a városban használt egyik sorozat fioláinak zárókupakja nem megfelelően zár – adta hírül internetes kiadásában a South China Morning Post (SCMP) című hongkongi lap.
A hongkongi kormányzat szerdán határozatlan időre felfüggesztette mind a 21, a német-amerikai fejlesztésű oltóanyagot használó közösségi oltóközpont tevékenységét. A központokban szerda reggel, a bejelentés előtt még többtucatnyi embert oltottak be a BioNTech Comirnaty vakcinájával.
A BioNTech Hongkongot és Makaót is figyelmeztette az oltóanyag 210 102-es sorozatának csomagolási hibájára, és a biztonság kedvéért leállította a sorozat kiszállítását az ügy kivizsgálásának idejére – közölte mindkét város kormányzata.
A makaói kormányzat szintén felfüggesztette a kérdéses sorozat alkalmazását, ugyanakkor megnyugtatta a lakosságot, hogy az oltóanyag érintett dózisai nem jelentenek egészségügyi kockázatot.
Elővigyázatosság
A hongkongi vezetés mindazonáltal elővigyázatosságból a Pfizer-vakcina egy másik sorozatának alkalmazását is felfüggesztette. A hongkongi egészségügyi minisztérium vésztanácskozást fog tartani a Fosun Pharma nevű, sanghaji székhelyű gyógyszeripari vállalattal, amely a BioNTech/Pfizer oltóanyag beszállítója.
Kínai vakcinát is használnak
Hongkongban a BioNTech/Pfizer vakcinán kívül a Sinovac kínai gyártó oltóanyagával folyik jelenleg a lakosság oltása. A város kormányzata már az AstraZenecával is megállapodott a brit gyártó az Oxford Egyetemmel közösen fejlesztett vakcinájának beszállításáról, ám ez az oltóanyag csak az év második felében lesz elérhető Hongkongban. A különleges státuszú városban kedd reggelig 403 ezer ember, vagyis a lakosság 5,3 százaléka kapott már védőoltást. Több mint 150 ezren a Pfizer/BioNTech vakcina első adagját, míg közel 253 ezren a Sinovac-féle oltóanyag első dózisát kapták meg.

Izraelben 13 embernél alakult ki arcbénulás a koronavírus elleni Pfizer-vakcina beadása után, egy hete figyelhető meg ez a mellékhatás, de adatok vannak arról, hogy a vakcinára való effajta reakció, sokkal több embernél volt tapasztalható – közölte a Jerusalem Post Izrael egészségügyi minisztériumára hivatkozva.
Egy betegnél az arcbénulás minimum 28 órán át tartott. Ezen és az injekció beadásának helyén jelentkező enyhe fájdalom mellett azonban más mellékhatása nem volt.
Az Egészségügyi Minisztérium azonban nem tartja emiatt ellenjavalltnak a második adag vakcina beadását.
A január 17-i adatok szerint, Izraelben az oltás első adagját körülbelül kétmillió ember kapta meg. Izrael az oltások számát tekintve az 5. helyen áll a listán.
