A Nem hagyjuk ellopni a jövőnket elnevezésű nagygyűlést a Millió pillanat a demokráciáért civil társulás szervezte meg a meghívó szerint „a szabad, biztonságos, demokratikus Csehország és intézményei érdekében, valamint Petr Pavel államfő támogatására”.
A cseh közszolgálati hírtelevízió (CT24) és a CTK hírügynökség élőben közvetítették a mintegy háromórás rendezvényt, amelyen cseh közéleti személyiségek, művészek, tudósok szóltak a tömeghez.
Zdenek Sverák filmrendező és színész beszédében bírálta a kormány azon tervét, hogy megváltoztassa a közmédia finanszírozását. Rámutatott: a közmédia fenntartásának jelenlegi rendszere a mindenkire kötelező havi illetékek által biztosítja azt, hogy a közszolgálati média ne legyen a kormánypolitika szolgája.
Ha a közszolgálati médiát az állami költségvetésből fogják finanszírozni azok elveszítik szabadságukat – mondta Zdenek Sverák, a Kolja című Oscar-díjas cseh film rendezője.
További felszólalók bírálták a kormány környezetvédelmi és agrárpolitikáját, illetve a kultúra támogatására szánt összegek csökkentését.

Prágában 90 000 cseh tüntető gyűlt össze az Óváros és a Vencel téren Petr Pavel elnök támogatására, számolt be a Reuters és az IDNES helyi újság.
A tüntetés szervezői értékelése szerint akár 90 000 ember is részt vett az elnök támogatására február 1-jén, vasárnap. A tüntetést a Milion chvilek za demokracii („Egymillió pillanat a demokráciáért”) nevű társadalmi mozgalom szervezte. Több tízezer ember tartott EU-s és cseh zászlókat. A helyi rendőrség egyelőre nem hozta nyilvánosságra a résztvevők számáról szóló adatokat.
A tüntetés válasz volt a cseh elnök és Petr Macinka, az Autósok magukért Párt vezetője közötti vitára, amely Filip Turek képviselő környezetvédelmi miniszteri kinevezésének megtagadása miatt robbant ki.
A cseh elnök támogatói megtöltötték Prága Óváros terét és a szomszédos Vencel teret, miközben a rendőrség lezárta a környék számos utcáját.
A tüntetés résztvevői támogatásukat fejezték ki az államfő iránt, és felszólaltak a politikában tapasztalható durvaság és nyomásgyakorlás ellen. Szolidaritási akciókat tartottak más Csehország városaiban is.
„Nagyon nagyra értékelem mindazokat, akik nem maradnak közömbösek a körülöttük zajló eseményekkel szemben, és érzik a felelősségüket országunk állapotáért. Nagyra értékelem mindazokat, akik készek hangjukkal kiállni a tisztesség, az igazság, a szolidaritás és az egymás iránti tisztelet védelmében” – reagált Pavel elnök a közösségi hálókon.
A mozgalom vezetője, Mikulas Minař bejelentette, hogy ha egymillió aláírást gyűjtenek össze az államfőt támogató felhívás keretében, a szervezet még nagyobb akciót szervez Prágában.

Lezuhant egy kisrepülőgép vasárnap Prága Letnany nevű városrészében egy erdőben, a balesetben ketten vesztették életüket – közölte Richard Hrdina cseh rendőrségi szóvivő a CTK helyi hírügynökségnek nyilatkozva.
Richard Hrdina cseh rendőrségi szóvivő szerint a pilóta röviddel a felszállást követően a Letnany repülőtérről műszaki hibát észlelt, és megpróbált visszafordulni, de ez már nem sikerült neki, és a kisgép balesetet szenvedett.
Hozzátette, hogy két halálos áldozat volt: egy 46 éves férfi és egy 72 éves nő. Vojtech Sosna, a cseh tűzoltóság szóvivője elmondta, hogy egy ultrakönnyű repülőgépről volt szó.
A hatóságok tájékoztatása szerint a történtek körülményeit a légi balesetekre szakosodott nyomozók mellett bűnügyi nyomozók is vizsgálják – közölte az MTI.

Zdenek Hříb prágai alpolgármester hangsúlyozta, hogy az incidens szereplője már nem a DPP közlekedési vállalat alkalmazottja.
A prágai DPP közlekedési vállalat kirúgott egy villamosvezetőt, aki nemrég, február 27-én kisgyerekkel lévő ukránokra támadt, és kidobta őket a járműből, jelentette ki Prága alpolgármestere, Zdenek Hříb, közölte a Radio Prague International.

Az esetről szemtanúk által rögzített videó néhány napja jelent meg az interneten. Az látható rajta, amint a villamosvezető egy ukrán házaspárral és gyerekkel kiabál. Megütött egy férfit is, aki egy csecsemőt tartott a karjában, majd kidobta a családot az autóból.
„Egyáltalán nincs jogod ebben az országban tartózkodni” – kiáltotta a sofőr.
A sofőr azzal indokolta tettét, hogy a gyerek „bepiszkolta a villamost”.

Egy villamosvezető ököllel támadt egy ukrán családra Csehország fővárosában, Prágában, majd leszállította őket a járműről. Az eset nagy felháborodást váltott ki Ukrajnában, a cseh hatóságok azonban egyelőre még nem reagáltak a történtekre.
Egy cseh villamosvezető ököllel támadt az unokájukkal utazó ukrán nagyszülőkre Prágában, majd folyamatos szidalmazás közben leszállította őket a járműről – számolt be róla a Vinegret.
A regionális lap szerint a sofőrnek az nem tetszett, hogy a gyerek az ülésre felállva nézett ki az ablakon. A lap szerint a nagypapa hiába mutatta, hogy a gyerek cipője tiszta, a sofőrt nem érdekelte, és a nagymama is hiába próbálta oldani a feszültséget. A villamosvezető akkor sem hagyta abba a család inzultálását, amikor a kisgyerek már hangosan sírt az ijedtségtől.
„Kifelé! Nincs jogotok ebben az országban lenni!” – kiabálta a járművezető, majd ököllel megütötte a 63 éves ukrán férfit.

A sofőrt az sem érdekelte, hogy a bántalmazás közben a férfi az unokáját tartotta a kezében. A családnak végül nem volt más választása, kénytelenek voltak leszállni a járműről. A járaton tartózkodó többi utas csendesen szemlélte az esetet, senki sem avatkozott be az eseményekbe.
A prágai közlekedési vállalat és a cseh hatóságok egyelőre nem adtak ki hivatalos közleményt az incidensről. A prágai villamosvezető botrányos viselkedéséről szóló videó azonban terjedni kezdett az interneten.

Két személyvonat ütközött össze szerda reggel Prágában a külvárosi Liben vasútállomáson, sok utas megsérült.
A baleset következtében három tucat ember közepes vagy könnyebb sérüléseket szenvedett, néhányat közülük kórházba szállítottak ellenőrzés végett – közölte a prágai mentőszolgálat.

Az álló szerelvény mozdonyvezetője ittas volt, két ezrelék alkoholt találtak a vérében – közölte Jan Danek rendőrségi szóvivő a Novinky hírportállal. A két szerelvény több mint 200 utasát buszokkal szállították át más vasútállomásokra. A vasúti közlekedés a libeni állomáson szünetel, és problémák keletkeztek az állomás környéki utcák közlekedésében is.

Hat embert késelt meg szerda délután egy prágai benzinkúton egy 52 éves férfi – közölte a cseh rendőrség az X-en, hozzátéve, hogy a támadót azonnal őrizetbe vették.
A mentők három embert láttak el, közülük egy 50 éves férfi sérülései közepesen súlyosak, ezért őt kórházba szállították. Nincs életveszélyben – tájékoztatta a sajtót Jana Postová, a prágai mentőszolgálat szóvivője.

„Eddig ismeretlen okból szerda délután a tettes egy benzinkúton késsel egy motorkerékpárosra támadt, akinek a nyakán és felsőtestén több sérülést okozott. A helyszínre kiérkező rendőrök megállapították, hogy röviddel azelőtt további öt személyt támadott meg” – pontosította később a rendőrségi közlést Jan Rybansky szóvivő.

Oroszok egy csoportja ukrán önkéntesekre támadt Csehországban, az incidens Prága belvárosában történt – közölte vasárnap az rbc.ua hírportál a prágai Maidan önkéntes szervezet aktivistájának X-bejegyzésére hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint az aktivista jelezte, hogy az eset Prága központjában, a Staromnest téren történt. Ott ukrán önkéntesek állnak minden szombaton, a tevékenységük hivatalosan engedélyezett.
Az oroszok egy csoportja megtámadta az önkénteseket, a szervezet aktivistája a véres kezét mutatta a fotón bizonyítékul.
A közzétett videókon az látható, ahogy egy orosz nő kiüti a telefont egy ukrán kezéből. Ő és más oroszok is ütötték és rúgták az önkénteseket. A verekedést emellett trágár szavakkal kísérték, amelyek az ukránok és a csehek ellen irányultak.

Több ember meghalt és sokan megsebesültek egy lövöldözésben, amely a prágai Károly Egyetem (Univerzita Karlova) bölcsészkarán történt csütörtök délután – közölte honlapján a cseh közszolgálati rádió.
A mentőszolgálatok tájékoztatása szerint a halottak mellett nagy számú sebesült is van az épületben. Cseh sajtóértesülések szerint az elkövetőt sikerült ártalmatlanítani, de ezt a rendőrség egyelőre nem erősítette meg.
A beszámoló szerint egy fotót tettek közzé a tn.cz honlapon, amelyen egy fegyveres férfi látható az épület tetején állva. Azt is írták, hogy robbanás hallatszott a helyszínről.
A rendőrség szirénázó rendőrautókkal lezárta az egyetemnek helyet adó Ján Palach tér környékét, leállították a járműforgalmat, a villamosokat és buszokat pedig elterelték.
Az egyetem főépületét a rendőrök kiürítették.
A diákok által a közösségi médiában megosztott információk szerint a bent rekedt diákok a tantermekbe és a könyvtárba menekültek, írják a cseh közszolgálati rádió honlapján.
