Molotov-koktélokat dobtak csütörtökön késő este az orosz kulturális központra Prágában – közölte a cseh rendőrség pénteken az X közösségi hálózaton.
Az elkövetőt a rendőrség más vagyona elleni támadás gyanújával keresi – áll a hatósági közleményben. Igor Girenko, a prágai Orosz Ház igazgatója szerint csütörtökön az esti órákban összesen hat Molotov-koktélt dobtak az épületre, ezek közül három felrobbant, de károkat nem okozott. Az igazgató kijelentette: véleménye szerint a támadás időzítése nem volt véletlen, mert az épületben tartják pénteken este az orosz kulturális napok záróünnepségét. Girenko köszönetet mondott a cseh rendőrségnek és a tűzoltóknak, akik perceken belül megjelentek a helyszínen.
„Barbár cselekedet” – kommentálta a történteket Marija Zaharova orosz külügyminisztériumi szóvivő pénteken Moszkvában a CTK hírügynökség jelentése szerint. Bejelentette: a prágai orosz nagykövetség hivatalos jegyzéket küld a cseh külügyminisztériumnak, amelyben tiltakozni fog a támadás ellen, és kérni fogja az orosz képviseletek és alkalmazottaik védelmének megerősítését.
A prágai orosz kulturális központ elleni támadást a cseh belügyminisztérium és a külügyminisztérium egyaránt elítélte. Lubomír Metnar belügyminiszter elfogadhatatlannak minősítette az incidenst.
