Több rendőr megsérült, egyiküket kórházba szállították.
A drezdai rendőrség beszámolója szerint szombaton kora reggelig három személy előzetes letartóztatását rendelték el súlyos rendbontás, vagyoni kár okozása és robbanószerrel való visszaélés miatt.
A péntek esti utcai összecsapások során több rendőr könnyebben megsérült, egyiküket kórházba kellett szállítani. Egy kapucnis pulóvert viselő, ismeretlen személy megtámadott és megsebesített egy fotóriportert.
Péntek este szélsőbaloldali szimpatizánsok gyülekeztek Szászország fővárosában, hogy részt vegyenek az idén az áprilisban egy drezdai bíróság által öt év, három hónap börtönbüntetésre ítélt Lina E. baloldali aktivista melletti szolidaritási meneten. A 28 éves aktivista az előző két évben különféle támadásokat szervezett, illetve követett el általa neonácinak, illetve szélsőjobboldalinak tartott személyek ellen.
A Lina E. melletti kiállás okán meghirdetett „X-napi felvonulás” békésen indult Drezda központjában, a Wiedebachplatzon, de a szélsőbaloldali radikálisok csatlakozásával a békés városlakók elleni terrorrá fajult.
A hamarosan több száz fősre duzzadt, arcukat kendővel és kapucnival eltakaró emberekből álló tömeg egyre agresszívan lépett fel, majd rátámadt az esemény biztosítását végző rendőrökre, kövekkel és petárdákkal dobálták meg őket – számolt be a DPA hírügynökség tudósítója.
A szélsőbalos csőcselék a környező utcákban talált szemeteskukákból, valamint az építkezéseken használt anyagokból rögtönzött barikádokat emelt, majd felgyújtotta azokat.
A rendőrök – akiket mindvégig kövekkel, sörösdobozokkal és petárdákkal dobáltak a tüntetők – könnygázt vetettek be.
Lipcse polgármestere, Burkhard Jung már csütörtökön aggodalmát fejezte ki a Twitteren és a TikTokon megjelent, erőszakra felbujtó üzenetek nagy száma miatt.
Az égő szemetes kukák és barikádok többségét vízágyúk segítségével, nem sokkal éjfél után eloltották.
